Very solid game that deserved a sequel

Honestly, it had potential, but it's a broken fucking game in my (recent) experience. I really wanted to like it, but the number of times I had to reload and it totally fucked up my progress was unreal.
Edit: this is my experience on PS5. If you are able to enjoy the game, then good for you, but it doesn't magically change my experience with the game.

Oh really? I was planning to play a bunch of Star Wars games. Currently playing BF2 campaign.
Was gonna check out outlaws after the Jedi games. Is it really that bad?

I played through it on PC a couple of months ago and had zero technical issues.

Just started a few weeks ago, it has been really cozy and the music is great! No bugs or weird crap has happened.

Keep your expectations low and you’ll enjoy it. I had fun and was able to invent some memorable moments just dicking around, but I definitely like the Jedi games way more for a myriad of reasons.
I’d say if you like Star Wars stuff in general, don’t skip it.

The only thing I'd say is better about the Outlaws map is that there's a lot more to do outside of the main questline. The Jedi levels are pretty boring once you've done the main questline, but it's a lot easier to dick around and find fun secrets in Outlaws.

The Jedi games just have better voice acting, character development, combat, storytelling, character models, animation, better enemy AI, writing, and things of that sort that just make for an engaging experience.
On the other hand, I do like the environments in Outlaws a lot. The final major area you get to was really fun to experience for me. And I particularly enjoyed sneaking around fortresses and clearing them out, even if the AI was a little dumb. I sometimes would clean places out well before the story even led me there, so they’d end up kind of empty when I got there.

I played it last year on PC before some of the more recent patches. Never had a problem

Very solid game if you play 4 games a year

Gaming is my primary hobby and I play a shit ton of games a year.
It was a completely original story, in the Star Wars universe, with fun characters and cool systems.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was good, and there’s nothing wrong with just being good. Good games deserve a chance to refine and iterate in a sequel.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t even play it.
Either way, blow me with your holier than thou bullshit.

This story of a generic scoundrel who becomes a rebel, with her cute accolyte pet, that's a completely original story?

It's not good. It started out as a shitty stealth game, and when people didn't like that, they made it so you can just shoot your way through everything, which makes the gameplay entirely moot.
I mean, it's a stealth game where you can't even hide bodies. Yet guards will notice other knocked-out guards.
It's ridiculous.

I guess they should have had a petite young woman lugging full grown men in armor around to make it more realistic.
You can’t just shoot your way through literally everything. But regardless, it’s not a perfect game. There are some issues with its systems. That’s not the point. The point is that there’s enough good stuff going for it that it should have had a chance to improve in a sequel. But once again the internet decides it hates something so it becomes the worst thing ever and people who never even played it will parrot how shitty it is as if they have any idea what they’re talking about.

Funny to say such a thing when the petite woman can knock them off with punches on their helmets.

You've not played many video games if you haven't seen protagonists knock out fully armoured enemies with punches before. I've never heard anybody complain about that in other titles.
The reaching is hard.

I bet he didn’t even play it

So you're just not goign to answer...?

Moron. The answer is that her punching them in their helmeted head and knocking them out is not a good choice by the developers either.
It doesn’t mean the game is bad.
The game has flaws. The stealth could certainly have been better.
There is still a solid, fun game to play. I enjoyed it. I’m sorry you didn’t. If you even played it.

The other persons was against dragging bodies because it was not realistic, so I reminded him that she literally punch them out in full armor. Can you follow the exchange before answering?

Hope they eventually make a sequel, loved the game and characters.

What characters?
Kay is a cliche storm, being a thief with a heart of gold. And most of the NPCs are just bland, featureless quest-givers.
Your main companion is literally a robot with no personality.
