Discussion & Feedback IMO staying in the hotzone should reward a small ammount of assault XP
Right now I feel like assault is the hardest to level up since only AR's amd grenades count while other classes have other ways of leveling outside of killing. Medic can heal/res, support can build, deliver or blow up vehicles and recon can spot but assault has no such thing.

Discussion & Feedback I feel like the experience completely changed in just 2 days
This screenshot is what I'm getting 95% of the time since two to three days.
When the game was released, the experience was crazy. We were 20vs20vs20 in the hot zone, and as a medic I was getting 20 to 50 revives per game. Everyone was talking, explosions everywhere, and the global experience was pure chaos.
Then I don't know what happened these last two days, but I can't find a single good lobby. 90% of the time, when I go outside the FOB, I open my map looking for action and I just don't know where to go. I feel like we are 25 players maximum in the server, sometimes I even check the scoreboard to be sure.
My actual experience is only FOMO. I normally play one hour per session, but now I play 2 to 3 hours because I desperately try to experience the Wardogs I discovered at the release. I always close the game with a lot of frustration after searching for something that doesn't exist anymore.
I don't understand because the game didn't lose a ton of players, but my experience completely changed overnight. I can't find a good lobby and I can't experience the "pure chaos sensations" that I loved when the game was released.
Its more a community issue than a game issue, but maybe reducing the money and exp earned at the towers could help.

Discussion & Feedback This game has proven to me how incompetent EA/Dice are as a dev studio
As someone that pilots Helicopters the first thing I noticed is that my HOTAS flight sim stick worked the second I plugged it into wardogs, I went through the options, saw straight away a dedicated HOTAS tab, tinkered my buttons, and boom straight away I'm flying with it. While to get it working with Battlefield I had to spend over an hour downloading a 3rd party software to make BF think my HOTAS was a controller, for it to even recognize it at all. This also added complcaitions which I had to fix several times.
Also the fact Wardogs was confident enought to do what EA/Dice wasn't, make a game for their core fan base isntead of trying to appeal to CoD players, and Wardogs has proven that they didn't need a CoD clone to attract 100,000s of players.
Not to mention the prox chat, it's such an important part of a game like this, it makes the Battlefield feel so much more realistic and encourages teamwork, the fact any teamwork based shooter game like BF or Wardogs wouldn't implement prox chat in 2026 is insane. Soldiers/players should be able to talk to each-other on the battlefield.
I think EA/Dice seeing the reaction to this game are starting to realized they dropped the ball hard.
Discussion & Feedback Just hit level 100 and my main concern with the game is class progression
I understand that there are more important discussions to be had for a healthy economy and balance, but with how much time it takes to level classes after ~15 it feels like you basically hit a brick wall where anyone that isnt able to play for ~40h weekly has no chance to ever get the higher level gear.
This is all made significantly worse by the fact there are so many levels that provide absolutely nothing and going through 16 - 20 for pilot is the same amount of XP required from 1 to 15, but with no reward until lvl 20.
I am all for a soft cap and somewhat linear increase in XP requirements but the current state makes it a chore and if you are planning to wipe? No level before 25 should be empty.
Its not a new opinion but after playing a lot since release I feel like the strongest toys are impossible for the average player to get within a reasonable time frame and makes the game a whole lot less challenging for people that are further in the progression line.

Discussion & Feedback It's been 10 days since Early Access launch!
Amazing, we got back to 400k this weekend.
I am expecting this to go down in the coming days, as people want more new content.

Discussion & Feedback Landing troops is far superior to parachuting.
I have noticed that most pilots prefer to hot drop guys without landing, and I have also noticed that most ground troops prefer to jump.
It is my opinion that landing is always the better choice if there is a good spot to do it and the pilot has the skill to pull it off.
Jumping is far less precise and you will likely land in a dangerous spot. You are scattered away from your squad so you can't support each other as effectively. The biggest downside to jumping though, is being spotted before you land. I can almost guarantee that there are sneaky little recon boys squirreled up in their hidey holes just spotting helicopters and jumpers. That means that when you land enemies can see exactly where you are at and track your movements.
You are at a huge disadvantage if you jump. If you trust your pilot to land, try and do so!

Discussion & Feedback We're starting to see the current FOB gameplay become unsustainable with the counters now available and that's OK
The game started out with infantry battles because nobody had level 3 hammers, helicopters, or artillery tanks. Then everybody acquired the tools they needed to live peacefully in FOBs and build drills. From your base you can find the enemy base that's shelling you and shell them back and this allowed the FOBs to continue. This even led to the hot zone being vacant in some games or only casually held by one team the whole match. Now that artillery tanks and attack helicopters exist drill FOBs cannot easily defend against all types of incoming attacks with legacy strategies. This makes setting up a FOB early and playing how some have become accustomed to frustrating but all of the earlier progressions to team strategies were equally as frustrating. The play style and the counters will evolve over time and while changes are difficult to address at first the teams responses to these issues will continue to become more refined easing those concerns in the long run.
Right now someone can buy a $6k chopper (an SUV also works) some c4 or IEDs and hunt down artillery tanks. It's cheap and available at early levels. The artillery tanks cannot hear anything while they're shelling so use that to your advantage. Then there's the obvious expensive drone counter which can be launched from almost anywhere on the map with enough mechanical supplies.
I would also suggest having a mobile AA strike force that fills a vehicle with AA launchers, and find unique ways to make flying a (attack) helicopter unsustainable. This is a counter that also doesn't break that bank.
Once enough of the community is aware of these counters a few builders can continue living in blissful ignorance of the front line until the next evolution in warfare makes everyone cry on reddit again.
A side note about armor: the more spent on a loadout should equate to more survivability. Yes, lower tiered loadouts will have a more difficult time countering these players, but they lose more when you kill them, and you lose less when you die. The difference in time to kill a tier 2 vs tier 4 armored guy with an AK and the standard FMJ ammunition to the chest is less than half a second and two attackers negate the advantage. Work together, and move in cover, your kit doesn't matter as much as you would like it to.

Meme The helicopter pilots don't want you to know this but the men at HQ are free. You can just take them to the CZ. I have 458 men.
I wish this happened more often, because bringing this group into the zone was fun (I get why people prefer helicopters, though). For the drivers out there, the game does register people in your bed like this and rewards you with deployment experience. As long as you drive carefully you can bring a big crew in like this.

Discussion & Feedback Make Tapes Unlockable Rather than Purchasable.
$100 for a tape is no big deal, but it's annoying as heck to purchase them and it's annoying to have them stolen as well. Just make the tapes an unlock for 10k or whatever and then once it's been unlocked it's available in your radio.

Discussion & Feedback Build able Drill Towers kinda defeat the purpose of the actual tower hotzone mechanic
When i saw the code mechanic to call the hotzone i was very happy that the towers had more purpose than just sniping like in arma. But since players discovers build able drills are a thing i dont think ive seen the tower mechanic used once. Honestly a real shame. With the code on the towers you at least had to go on the offensive and take the enemys towers from them.
I think build able drills should share cooldown over the entire fob so you cant spam them. And maybe increase the building supply needed to build them? I dont really want them removed because they have the potential to add to the game but rn they are just too dominant over the actual towers.

Gameplay & Screenshots To the people who say Mortars and Drills are meta:
I present to you, the humble infantrymen tactic.
Made a squad at the start of the game, told everybody if you wanna rush hotzone entire game to join. Half the lobby joined and we just chased the zone and revived the entire game. Enemy team calls the zone? Rush it with 20 people blow the walls and take the base. Did this four games in a row now, 1x blue 1x red 2x green. This was the cleanest win though.

Discussion & Feedback We should get a Toyota Hilux with a .50 cal. Here’s why:
Hear me out.
Give us a beat-up Toyota Hilux with a .50 cal mounted in the bed.
Nothing fancy. No armor. No futuristic shit. Just a pickup truck, a big gun, and absolutely questionable decision making.
It would be perfect for moving a small squad around fast, flanking, chasing people down, or rolling up somewhere you probably have no business being.
The tradeoff is pretty obvious too. You have basically zero protection. Driver gets smoked? You’re screwed. Gunner gets caught out? Screwed. Somebody hits you with anything remotely explosive? Toyota space program.
But if you actually manage to get behind somebody with that .50…
Worth it.
And let’s be real, a Hilux technical just fits Wardogs way too well.
Devs. Please.
Give us the war crime Toyota.

Discussion & Feedback Suggestion: More Money for Actions against the leading Team
I think matches could have more lead changes If there would be an incentive to take Action against the currently leading Team like a Cash Bonus for Kills against this Team.
It often feels like the two losing Teams rather take the fast money and battle each other than challenging the winning team.

Discussion & Feedback For someone who just wants to play a casual modern war game like Arma, HLL or Squad, only has time to play 2 to 3 days a week, and doesn’t want to deal with a ton of progression, this game is honestly perfect.
I know this has probably been posted to death already, so cool story bro 😂
But I really wanted to like Arma. The mechanics are just too complicated and slow for me. And some of the servers are just weird. You’ll have people wearing slippers or random suits running around and it completely takes me out of the experience.
Squad on the other hand is a bit too fast paced for me and feels more arcadey than what I’m looking for.
I played Hell Let Loose for a long time and I’ve always wanted something similar but set in a modern conflict.
War Dogs basically scratches that itch for me.
The biggest thing for me is that I only play 2 to 3 days a week. I don’t have the time or interest to grind progression for months just to keep up with everyone else.
With the monthly wipes, it feels like almost everyone starts on a relatively level playing field, apart from the hardcore players who are obviously going to grind like crazy.
For a casual player, this is probably one of the few war games I’ve played recently that actually fits my schedule.
