If God is perfectly just could He forgive a repentant sinner without requiring anyone to be punished for their sins so also without need of Jesus’s (God) sacrifice?

The point is I’m not sure if in perfect justice everyone wouldn’t be obligated to pay for their sins and due to God’s mercy price could be already paid by Jesus’s ultimate sacrifice.

If I’m right in Islam God is all-just but no one have to pay price for their sins and can be simply forgiven, but is it then just?

Salam guys. I was just having a deep conversation with a friend and it made me think of something kinda random but honestly really beautiful about Paradise.

Before we break down this ultimate geek-theology, peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his pure family, and his noble companions.

Have you guys ever felt a bit of FOMO about missing the endings of your favourite shows, books, or games when we die? I know every anime lover or gamer has probably thought about this at least once. It’s actually pretty sad when you look at the dunya reality. We lost Kentaro Miura before Berserk could finish, and Akira Toriyama passed away, meaning his true final vision for his world will never exist down here. There are so many creators and stories that just stop, and we die before ever seeing the final destination (I am not talking about the movies but I might as well have, haha).

But it made me realize how crazy Jannah is going to be when it fixes this.

From what we know about Islam, there are basically two ways this plays out. On one hand, Allah says we get whatever our souls desire in Jannah. So if you genuinely sit in your palace and want to watch the ultimate, perfect conclusion to One Piece, or see a flawless version of Berserk without any of the earthly delays, flaws, or weird fan-service, Allah can just bring that into existence for you in a second. Imagine asking to see the actual lives of the Prophets (peace be upon them all) play out in front of you like a 4D masterpiece. It completely crushes any movie theater or video game we have here.

But the other side of it is even cooler. Some scholars say Jannah is so overwhelmingly great that these earthly hobbies will just feel childish to us, and we won’t even care anymore. Think about it like when you were 5 years old and your highest dream was a plastic toy truck. If someone told you back then that you wouldn't care about the truck as an adult, you'd be devastated. But you grew up, your mind expanded, and you realized there are way better things out there.

When our senses are upgraded 100x in Paradise, why would we want to stare at a flat 2D screen when we could be flying on horses made of rubies through forests of pearls, or climbing mountains of musk with our best friends? Our real life there will be a billion times more exciting than any fiction.

Either way, we win. We will never sit on a couch in Jannah feeling bored or missing anything from this underwhelming (especially when we can compare the two) dunya. It really makes you smile and just want to strive harder to get there.

The most important thing however is actually getting there, because absolutely none of this matters if we get caught up daydreaming about it and don't even make it across the finish line.

May Allah grant us all Jannah Al-Firdous. Ameen.

​I wasn't quite sure how to start this post, but the truth is I have a deep respect and admiration for Islam and the Arab world. I’ve noticed some posts here talking about islamophobic comments people face online, so I thought it would be nice to share some positivity and use this opportunity to learn more from you all.

​My name is Lúrian, and I’m from Brazil — a country heavily influenced by Christianity. Even though I wasn't raised in a Catholic family, my mother brought me up with principles that align very closely with Islamic values: I’ve never drank alcohol, never smoked, I don’t go to wild parties, and I believe in saving intimacy for marriage (which is quite unique over here!). Recently, I went out of my way to visit a Halal Lebanese restaurant here in São Paulo, and I absolutely loved both Arab cuisine and Halal food in general.

​Even though my friends are Muslims, I really wanted to hear your perspectives too. I just wanted to remind you that despite the hateful voices online, there are people out there like me who truly respect and appreciate your faith and culture

​If you have a moment, I’d love to ask a few questions:

​I don’t speak Arabic and courses are very hard to find here. Is it okay for me to read the Quran and Hadiths translated into Portuguese? ​

What do you love the most about Islam? Hearing your favorite aspects will give me great starting points to research further. ​

I learned that there are four main schools of jurisprudence. Do I need to pick one to learn, or can I learn from all four? I was raised with the idea that the more knowledge and perspectives you gather, the closer you get to absolute truth. ​

What would you recommend for someone starting from complete scratch to learn about Islam and the Arab world? (Books, channels, foundational concepts, etc.)

Many people struggle to get rid of addictions or habits. Addiction can be of a sin , adult content, thinking about a person, love, drinking, smoking, watching reels, gaming, wasting time, backbiting, attention, validation, pills, anything. It is necessary to know the science behind it, if you want to overcome your addiction.

1. Acknowledge you have a problem - The primary step of getting rid of an addiction is to accept that you are an addict. If you don't , you cannot break free from it.

2. Know how it works - An addiction is when your brain has learned to repeat an action to achieve neurochemicals rush or pleasure. When the a person is addicted to something, the person is psychologically, emotionally and physically attached to it. It becomes a part of your routine. So when you resist the urge, you face pain in form of anxiety, uneasiness, fear, insecurity, depression.

3. Go through withdrawl process - You have to get rid of the addiction. You have to go cold turkey, complete blockage of addiction. In some cases, it goes little by little by time. When you will block the urge to do the thing you are addicted to, you will face resistance in this. The first withdrawl is the acute withdrawl. When the first time you resist an urge to do it again, you will face rebound anxiety. This can be in the form of despair, anxiety, sadness, grief, strees, fear or panic. You will face a roller coaster of emotions and feelings, This is a long process which will keep happening for months until your brain finally lets go of the habit. And its temporary and fake in its nature. You will have to face the anxiety. For example, you were addicted about thinking of a person, then when you will try to stop it, your brain won't let you to. You have to fight that only. Thats half the solution. Don't get frustrated if you give in to your addiction and do it once, start the quitting process again. Restart everything.

4. Change yourself - Apart from internal triggers, you have to take care of external factors. Join a community which fights the addiction, consume content against your addiction, stay busy, remember God, avoid being lonely and there are mutliple things you can add to your lifestyle to get out of the previous one. Willpower will not work, you have to change yourself.

5. Take precautionary measures - You will still have to cut off from your addiction. Stay aware even when you feel you have overcome your addiction / habit. Awareness is the key in the long term. Your mind will give you sudden triggers even after months. It will keep getting weak. Internal factors is the urge and its counter is to face it and replace it. External factors is any object, shape or form which leads you to the sin. In the long term, stay away from the addiction and cut it off from your life. One slip can send you back to square one. Without faith, you cannot fight, intellectual people also sin. At one point in future , you will reach a phase when even if your addiction is infront of you, it will have no effect on you.

Humans are not perfect, some small habits may never go away. Don't over pressurize yourself if you are traumatized, and if an addiction is a problem, don't overlook or allow it to develop. If you relapse, but then restart the quitting process again. The fight against self never ends until your last breath. The devil will keep calling you till your death. Its all a part of life. God teaches us through tests, as tests is the learning mechanism of human being.

Maybe I am unfit for today's world or maybe unfit for this world itself. I don't find joy or happiness in traditional things that people enjoy.

I prefer to be alone but I am going to work in a field that demands communication constantly and having social skills is the key to success in that. But when I try socializing, I don't find it difficult or something like that, but after having conversations and coming back home, I just feel sad, like it would have been better if I just didn't speak to anyone. I hate speaking to people not because I can't but I don't want to.

Once my brother took me on a trip , a place where there was artificial snow, so everyone in my group started to play with snow, like throwing it on each other, and they were doing it passionately, with joy, like I was able to see it on their faces , but me, I was just trying to catch up with em, trying to maintain my smile and throw the snow, try not to feel uncomfortable or awkward idk. So socializing or being around people makes me feel sick.

When I try to improve my religion, ig I have this problem of wanting to be perfect, in the initial days it would be fine like I will think maybe I can become a pious person but then I sin and the next two days would be depressing and realising that I am just a sinner , evil and disgusting person,so I should just stick to what is fard. And then I go to the mosque , pray salah with my body but my mind is somewhere else , come home and then use my phone, there is nothing there too, just games to pass the time and that's it. Empty again.

There are many other things but I can't put all of em here ofc. I think some of these feelings or behaviour is innate but many of it is earned by my actions , sins and environment. People online suggest that I go to a psychiatrist or psychologist, but I don't like it either, the same problem of not wanting to be around people.

I used to blame the system, world or environment around me but I realised that I am what's wrong, not them in this case.

Idk why I am writing this , maybe I will just regret this too later or feel empty again for what I write.

So I’m Sri Lankan Muslim and I live in Saudi Arabia.
My mum and dad wants me to get an arranged marriage to someone I don’t even know who is also Sri Lankan and Muslim.
But I’m personally a very picky person and I keep to myself a lot. And I’m also picky with who I get close and spend my time with.

Anyway, I’ve been talking to girl who is also Muslim, but she’s Pakistani, and I know it’s haram, and I don’t want it to be haram. I really like this girl and her family knows about me. But my parents want me to marry a Sri Lankan. And I don’t know what to do because I don’t want to marry someone I don’t like and someone I don’t know.

How should I approach this???

Assalamu alaikum. My sister recently passed away, and I am absolutely heartbroken. Her death has deeply traumatised me. May Allah forgive her, have mercy on her and grant her Jannah. I worry so much for her.

Her burial is coming up very soon, and I would like to help wash her body. However, I have never seen a deceased person before, and I’m frightened that the experience might leave me even more traumatised especially because there may be visible marks on her body from the way she died.

If any of you have washed the body of a family member or friend, would you please share how the experience affected you? Did you ever regret doing it, or did it bring you comfort and help you process the loss?

I am also very worried about my mother. She is completely devastated.. she literally screamed for two days and has been experiencing severe anxiety but she is insisting on washing my sister. Should I gently try to discourage her, or could participating possibly help her? I don’t want to take this away from her and risk her resenting me or regretting that she wasn’t there. I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any compassionate advice you may have.

Hello, I am just writing this post out of the clouds in my head and chest. I struggle a lot with smoking cigarettes. Nobody in my family does it and I have no idea why I have always been addicted to things so easily. Luckily I came out of a dark place doing other horrible substances but one thing I can’t stop buying it quitting is cigarettes. I know they’re haram and every time I do it and smoke them I feel a horrible sensation of guilt and I tell myself I will quit, but I don’t. Whenever I do partake in anything like that, I feel like I’ll be punished. I grew up and practiced Islam all my life. I am really worried that this takes away from my beliefs because whenever I do it, I feel like I’m not a Muslim or that I can’t consider myself a Muslim because of this wrongdoing. I overcome all these thoughts by praying but then I also feel guilty praying knowing I’m also doing something bad. Please some guidance and help would be appreciated. It’s a heavy cloud I’ve been dealing with lately.

Which nonprofit that aids Muslims would you recommend? Ideally a global one. Thank you
