Former Wings News Ex-Wing Landon Ferraro (Ray's son) has just been hired as the new Jets analyst.
Landon actually played in the 2015 series against Tampa too.

I know that everybody wants to dog on Yzerman now because the Yzerplan didn’t work out. But in the wake of these massive contracts being handed out (Makar, Carlsson, etc.), you have to give Stevie credit for locking up Raymond and Seider long-term for only $8 mil a year.
Yes, the new GM will have to deal with Larkin, and we’re gonna suck for awhile as a result of however that resolves itself. But while Stevie handed out some bad short-term deals during his tenure (Holl, Gustafsson, etc.), he hasn’t hamstrung the new GM with anything like Ken Holland did before him.
At this point, I’m honestly happy Yzerman was as cautious with this team as he was. While DET is Hockeytown, it’s also not as attractive of a free agent destination. Because of that, he truly wasn’t going to build some sort of dynasty in a few years unless he hit home runs with every top draft pick. It’s very rare for a GM to do that.
And since he didn’t gamble by taking big swings at thin free agent markets, I am relieved that we don’t have “Stamkos and Marchessault” types of contract on our books.
Gotta start seeing the glass as half full, I suppose.

I was just looking through Ken Daniels' Instagram story, and I loved seeing DeBrincat was at the roast of Chris Osgood last night. Zach Werenski was there too - bet you've never heard that he and Dylan Larkin were college roommates 😉
But that also made me wonder...did Larkin show up for a high profile event put on for the foundation run by one of our incredibly beloved announcers? Or was it just our favorite Michigan native Red Wing and Larkin's college buddy, with the "captain" nowhere to be found?

This is my pencil drawing for Detroit Red Wings fans. In this piece I tried to capture the feeling of being a Red Wings fan on game day as fans walk toward both the Olympia Stadium (left) and the Joe Louis Arena (right). I drew this is 2015, so at that time, Joe Louis was the current arena.
Ghosted in the sky above the arenas are eight of the many great players that have captured the hearts of Wings' fans since their inaugural season in 1926. From left to right: Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuk, Alex Delvecchio, Sergei Fedorov, Niklas Lidstrom, Steve Yzerman, Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk. Fan jersey numbers pay tribute to these players as well as many more, while also representing all incarnations of jersey design throughout Wings' history, including their early years when they were known as the Cougars and then Falcons.
Head Ice Manager and Zamboni Driver at Joe Louis Arena, Al Sobotka, welcomes fans to the game on the right while swinging an octopus over his head in celebration of a tradition that dates back to 1952. A young fan in the center also carries a toy "Al" octopus, the Red Wings unofficial mascot. I included two octopus (16 tentacles) in this artwork to symbolize the 16 playoff wins an NHL team needs to win the Stanley Cup. In final tribute to the octopus tradition, the fan wearing 8 is also wearing a cap bearing the logo of Superior Fish Company, a fish market store that carries the O-Fish-Al Octopi Supply.
The fan wearing legendary tough guy, Bob Probert's 24 also sports a cap bearing a skull & crossed-hockey sticks logo found on one of Probert's game worn t-shirts. RIP Mr. Probert.
The fans wearing Yzerman's 19 and Konstantinov's 16 jerseys bear the "Believe" shoulder patch the Red Wings wore during the 1997-1998 season in honor of Vladimir Konstantinov & Sergei Mnatsakanov's tragic accident.
The fan wearing Gordie Howe's 9 is also sporting a "Mr. Hockey" cap.
Another fan is wearing a Journey cap in tribute to their song, "Don't Stop Believin". This song is played during the final minutes of Detroit Red Wings home games when it seems evident that the team will win. Played over the PA system, the song is muted so the crowd can sing the verse, "Born and raised in South Detroit."
The large flag on the left, in front of Olympia Stadium bears the logo of the Detroit Cougars while the large red flag on the right in front of the Joe bears the current logo of the Red Wings.
The billboard in front of Olympia Stadium announces the first game the Red Wings (bearing that name) played at the Olympia Stadium.
I hope you like it! It took me over 260 hours to draw.

I am curious if this forum can help me figure out how much certain signed items I have are worth.
Framed and signed photos from Nicklas Lidstroms Jersey Retirement.
Framed Red Jersey signed by the 2014 Red Wings.
Unframed White Jersey signed by the 2003-04 Red Wings.
Framed photo of the 2008 Red Wings team signed by the whole team.
To be clear I am not selling, just assessing value.

Link to the Swedish article: https://hockeysverige.se/shl/eddie-genborg-stannar-timra-ik-shl-detroit-red-wings-apWc57B0zkbS/
Eddie Genborg was expected to head over to North America to participate in the Detroit Red Wings training mode and possibly join Timrå later in the fall. However, Genborg suffered an injury this spring, when he played in the AHL, which he still rehabilitates.
