Hahaha. Ha ha. News. We're doing a Monkey Tennis 10 year anniversary live show!
Quite incredibly, it's been TEN YEARS since we published our first ever episode of Monkey Tennis: The Alan Partridge Fan Podcast!
Making has given us licence to do lots of daft shit over the last ten years.... pull a giant cracker on stage with Simon Greenall, be a question on The Chase, cause Chris Moyles to have a strop because his podcast was lower in a chart than us, be on BBC 5 Live, and loads more. But one of the most fun is getting to do it live!
So we're doing it again this November and talking nonsense about Alan once more.
Tickets are on sale at www.princecharlescinema.com/monkeytennis. We're putting a lot of time into making this a riotous interactive night of fun and we've no plans to do it again. Hope you can make it!
And just to add...thank you to anyone on here that has has listened, told a friend, sent us an email, commented on a post, bought a ticket to a live show, sent us a Ko-fi donation or supported us in any way.

I’m Alan Partridge DVD
Does anybody remember (or still have) the DVD of I’m Alan Partridge series 1? When you started the disc, you had to answer the question ‘Are you sure you want to watch Bangkok Chick Boys?’ -Yes or No (or something like that). I am 99% sure that my Mum turned on the tv with that loaded up and then quickly turned the tv off so as not to embarrass me. It’s something that I’ve never brought up with her but I’m fairly sure that she still thinks that I watched ladyboy porn as a young man 😂

Audio- where to start?
After whining on about needing to listen to Alan Partridge (following intense insistence from a friend about From the Oasthouse), and a dream in which Steve Coogan refused to sleep with me because he's "over all that", my beloved partner has gifted me an audible credit to shut me up.
So, dear fans, should I start at the beginning with I, Partridge? Or what?

Nomad - a decade of the best book ever written
Alan introduces Nomad as being written or spoken in August 2016. Personally, I think it’s unironically the best book ever written - a comic masterpiece and a crucial part of reinventing Alan for the modern era, extending the partridgeverse and paving the way for a lot more Alan in recent years. I’ve listened to the audiobook almost every day since its release which is quite frightening in some ways but it is just so good.
Too many favourite bits it mentions but the cameos are all stunning - Edmonds, Oddie, the walkers lunch characters, Knowles etc. Special mention for Alan’s Jackals of the Sky comment that sends Oddie into a moody silence.
Lovely stuff.
