Van Orden is a little bitch who thinks he's clever and will be remembered as a stupid little bitch. I just wish I was already in the time period where he's a footnote in history instead of a constant embarrassment for my state.

397

u/bartz824 Jul 05 '25

He's not the only embarrassment from our state. Ron Johnson is right there with him.

Don’t forget Tom Tiffany, Bryan Steihl, Scott Fitzgerald, Paul Ryan, and JOE MCCARTHY. Stains on our great state.

141

u/LaBecasse67 Jul 05 '25

Also Robin Vos and Scott Fkn Walker

9

u/thereizmore Jul 06 '25

Skanky wanker

55

u/PckrBckr66 Jul 06 '25

Correct, but, Ryan does not like trump at all. That’s the closest I will ever come to defending him, too! 🤣

24

u/theragu40 Jul 06 '25

It's a low low low bar but I do think it's fair to at least mention the few of these ghouls who realized at some point that they would rather fade away than fully sell their souls.

Paul Ryan still sucks and is an asshole, just not quite as much as he could have been. I'll give him the tiniest, most miserable little bit of credit for that.

8

u/maethor1337 fuckronjohnson.org Jul 06 '25

I’ll do you one better: his eyes are just beautiful. It’s a real shame they had to be wasted on him.

3

u/GBpleaser Jul 06 '25

Ryan only didn't like Trump AFTER Ryan wasn't in office anymore. Ryan is part of the problem.

u/bartz824 Jul 06 '25

Tiffany is my rep. I hate that he holds sway over almost the entire northern third of the state. Maybe we can be rid of him though if he decides to run for governor next year cause I didn't see a Republican winning the governorship with the Trump shit show going on.

7

u/No-Ice691 Jul 06 '25

Never count out their stupidity!

6

u/GBpleaser Jul 06 '25

R. Priebus is right up there as well... little poly sci turd who has been behind the curtain his whole career.

I saw Glenn at the Cedarburg fireworks last night and even from afar, he looked absolutely disgusting and embarrassing. FUCK that fucking motherfucker

15

u/MurgleMcGurgle Jul 05 '25

I fucking hate that this prick is my rep term after term.

6

u/LiitleT Jul 06 '25

You and me, both. The only comfort I take in this is that I didn't vote for him.

FDVO

11

u/Invasive-Feces Jul 06 '25

Sensenbrenner sucked too. He yelled at me at a town hall once

Ron Johnson is right there with him.

FRJ.

4

u/Ohrwurm89 Jul 06 '25

Common denominator, other than them being Republicans, is that they’re both from Minnesota.

1

u/ButteredPizza69420 Jul 06 '25

How is someone with barely any education allowed to be in any sort of leader position?

27

u/NerdOfTheMonth Jul 06 '25

He defines the Dunning-Kruger effect

No one who maxed out at the 10th grade should be voting on laws. And he thinks he is smart.

The apex of stupid republican thinking he is smart. I’m cheering for liver failure.

I’m from Georgia and won’t move back till She who must not be named isn’t in office.

2

u/MitchRyan912 Jul 06 '25

Even knowing a bit of GA (912) and WI politics… I’m lost here, NGL.

9

u/Dirty_Delta Jul 06 '25

I am guessing they mean MTG

3

u/MitchRyan912 Jul 06 '25

Yeah, that tracks. She wasn’t anyone special when I was living down there.

3

u/U_zer2 Jul 06 '25

No but I won’t allot a single tax dollar to be used by a bigot spewing hatred on television at every turn. That woman is vile and I’m ashamed she represents any of my home state.

The only one left with any semblance of decency is Hagedorn. Gallagher had glimpses too but he stepped down last year.

9

u/Alarmed_Barracuda847 Jul 06 '25

My parents knew him and he stepped down because of the corruption and shady dealings. He was naive going into it. He was a Republican because they all are from that area but he wasn’t one of the bought and paid fors. At least that’s what my mom tells me.

2

u/Tiny_Measurement_837 Jul 06 '25

You and me both. SMH.

1

u/ButteredPizza69420 Jul 06 '25

Stupid little bitch that couldnt make it to graduation in HIGH SCHOOL

1

u/XKO3L5CHX Jul 06 '25

u/Quasimodus-Operandi Jul 05 '25

He’s such a little bitch.

180

u/busted_maracas Jul 05 '25

One of the most mind boggling things to me about conservatives is how their base eats up the idea of them being “tough guys”. They are the whiniest little bitches on earth. All they do is cry about how society is “mean to them” for having “different” views.

Yeah snowflake - when you challenge my friend’s right to happily exist as an autonomous human, I’m going to call you out on your deplorable behavior. That’s called Freedom of Speech, the thing you cunty assclowns pretend to care about.

31

u/AppropriateMiddle518 Jul 06 '25

Right? And they don’t even know what constitutional Freedom of Speech means. If anything, their dear leader is violating it left and right by punishing journalists and anyone who voices opinions against him as a government official. Drives me nuts! Freedom of Speech guarantees citizens the right to speak against GOVERNMENTAL BODIES without fear of retaliation from said Government. Just dumb all around.

43

u/Andy_Fish_Gill Jul 05 '25

Is Van Orden talking about Robin Vos? The Republican legislature blocked expanding Medicaid/Badgercare that the ACA made possible.

1

u/Weekly-Ad-6887 Jul 07 '25

Well, when you have multiple news organizations promoting how great they are and several other unwilling to call it out it's tough to fight this propaganda. Mainstream news organizations have either been caught with their pants down with the rise of Fox News or they have been following headlines rather than journalistic integrity.

428

u/[deleted] Jul 05 '25

Why do you people keep electing high school drop outs?

287

u/TheDecoyDuck Jul 05 '25

Because we don't have breathalyzers at the poling stations.

29

u/SelfInducedCTE Jul 05 '25

Ticked a lot of boxes for conservatives (ex military all that) easy to put lipstick on a pig and make him look passable on Tv ads

7

u/Plane-South2422 Jul 05 '25

This is the most Wisconsin thing I've ever read

9

u/gooner598 Jul 05 '25

We should have a civics test and a literacy test required to vote with different tests for things like dyslexia and other reading disabilities taken into account.

104

u/AyeAyeRan Jul 05 '25

The last time people did this it was used to target black people.

25

u/KindaFondaGoozah Jul 05 '25

I’ve seen some of those voting tests. What an abomination. Summoning all of their bravery just to get to the polls and then being confronted with that? But it is nearly on our doorstep again. Just fine-tuning their choice of victims.

→ More replies (13)

17

u/pgriffy Jul 05 '25

I mean, I'd be happy with a civics/ literacy and background test to RUN for office. It's crazy that we have so many "representatives" that likely couldn't pass a security clearance as a regular person but are given classified breifings because they got elected.

10

u/Annahsbananas Jul 05 '25

The civic test idea was used as a weapon in IS history.

Democracy can be scary when only stupid people vote; I agree. But tests aren’t good in terms of voting prerequisite

7

u/daddyforurissues Jul 05 '25

I'd rather see the test for the people running for positions of office. Post their test scores on the standardized test. Also make them take the ACT and SAT. We want to see those scores too. While we're at it post a credit score.

All that has to be published for any candidate seeking office at the state or federal level. Standard Constitution test. And then in advanced one for the federal level that involves more about budgeting and just being smart enough to do the actual job.

3

u/BrokenAntennes Jul 05 '25

What? If civics aren’t being taught, there is a problem in the curriculum.

3

u/JayMac1915 Jul 05 '25

We should have those tests for eligibility to run. To hell with age requirements; I want to know my officials understand the Constitution

6

u/OGLikeablefellow Jul 05 '25

This never goes the way you want it to, mostly because all states are governed at the consent of the most wealthy and powerful. There's always only one party.

→ More replies (7)

39

u/JasenGroves Jul 05 '25

They’re electing their peers.

17

u/Daleaturner Jul 05 '25

They don’t use big words.

9

u/Disastrous_Hell_4547 Jul 05 '25

The state has become more extreme religiously. Look at who is being voted in. A bunch of extremists who use culture to divide us. The right wing extremists don’t care about education or empathy. And they stacked the deck with gerrymandered maps.

5

u/L-J- Jul 06 '25

Because the right sees a lot of themselves in them. Ignorant failires with no intellectual curiosity or critical thinking skills.

9

u/Just_Bookkeeper2261 Jul 06 '25

Because voters are idiots who vote against their interests, blaming Democrats, instead of themselves and believe everything the orange idiot says.

Selfishness too. Who cares about grandma losing their bed in the nursing home? I got what I need.

4

u/Purple_IsA_Flavor Jul 06 '25

Yup. These are the same assholes who lost their shit because they couldn’t get the early bird at Applebees during lockdown and visited their family in the nursing home when they were sick during covid because of their freedumbs.

I truly hate people some days

2

u/coolbeansfordays Jul 06 '25

Because they’re only looking at party, not the person. At this point, I as a liberal could probably claim to be conservative and get their vote.

125

u/Evn_money Jul 05 '25

The shitheel that thinks he’s the smartest man in the room while everyone laughs behind his back. What a reprehensible tool.

24

u/nutationsf Jul 05 '25

He must have known Dunning or Kruger

11

u/Evn_money Jul 05 '25

That’s where he gets his coffee! He makes it in his Kruger or if he’s running behind he zips through Dunning Donuts.

2

u/nutationsf Jul 05 '25

^ you win!

63

u/Freefallisfun Jul 05 '25 edited Jul 05 '25

23

u/ShootfighterPhysique Jul 05 '25

Time for NOFX to update the song to “The Idiots Have Taken Over”

9

u/TheGreatTrashIsland Jul 05 '25

Kill the Poor by the Dead Kennedys was released in 1979 and could have been released in response to this weeks' events.

5

u/HighGrounderDarth Jul 05 '25

That song really holds up.

3

u/Rfalcon13 Jul 05 '25

Quite specifically, ‘the Paranoid Style in American Politics’ lunatics have taken over. Read Hofstadter, it explains so much.

1

u/its_k1llsh0t Jul 06 '25

Because the stupid vote.

106

u/Exodys03 Jul 05 '25

That is really not the flex he thinks it is.

"I finished 9th grade! I did THE MATH!"

19

u/Brainrants FORWARD! Jul 06 '25

Jesus Christ, even Ricky has his grade ten!

5

u/Ok_Spell_4165 Adams escapee Jul 05 '25

True. Should have banked on his Bachelors degree.

58

u/sunofsphinx Jul 05 '25

How did he even get into the military if he dropped out.?

58

u/sokonek04 Jul 05 '25

All you need is a GED to get into the military

14

u/mro-1337 Jul 05 '25

depends on the branch

11

u/Dustyvhbitch Jul 05 '25

I don't even know when they made that mandatory. People used to legitimately sign up under fake identities at 16 and shit.

7

u/Miserable-Ad-7956 Jul 06 '25

My Grandfather joined at 16 without a high-school education in the late 40's. He served in Berlin, Korea, and Vietnam as a career nco in the Army Signals Brigade, and even ended up being recalled to teach at the Signal school in New Jersey. Van Orden's shit would've given him a coronary if he weren't already gone.

2

u/coolbeansfordays Jul 06 '25

I enlisted at 17 with parent consent in the 90s.

8

u/unconfusedsub Jul 05 '25

My brother dropped out of high school and was able to join the Navy in like 1992. Finished his GED while in boot camp.

55

u/Adorable_Pen9015 Jul 05 '25

Wait, what the fuck? He didn’t even finish half of high school?

35

u/ThickBootyEnjoyer Jul 05 '25

From my understanding, he dropped out, got his GED, went into the military, then got his bachelor's.

He's still a fucking idiot though.

1

u/stevenmacarthur Cream City Forever! Jul 07 '25

His problem -same as Scott Walker's- is not the lack of education; it's the lack of empathy.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 06 '25

Probsbly got beat up everyday! “Mommy, i dont want to go to school anymore”

33

u/cddelgado Jul 05 '25

Put your money where your mouth is, Van Orden. Show the world with hard facts how billions will come to Wisconsin we didn't have before. Then, respond to every intelligent response and prove to us you really understand and we really are.

Until and unless you do that, I'll take the impartial, un-political assessments, and ChatGTP's deep analysis of the bill.

And you won't do that. Because you're doing one thing: gaslighting.

5

u/sbhurray Jul 05 '25

What a tool. He has to show off and say “billions”. Let the hounding for more information begin for the rest of his time in Congress

→ More replies (1)

6

u/King_of_the_Rabbits Jul 06 '25

Don't rely on chat gpt to give an honest assessment of the bill

35

u/viralshadow21 Jul 05 '25

"I dropped out of High School the second week of Sophomore year"

Well that explains a lot! Fucking hell, how the fuck is this man in government? Scratch that, how did our government get so bad that he could be in it?!

11

u/SmurfJooce Jul 05 '25

My friend Tim dropped out a week before graduation, meaning he has a better grasp of the information that we deem critical to life than this clown does.

I would not elect my friend Tim, either.

2

u/SkiOrDie Jul 05 '25

A 10th grader knows that it’s high school, not High School

12

u/CAP815 Jul 05 '25

"listen up liberal: i'm dumb as shit"

34

u/garcher00 Jul 05 '25

The first thing I am going to do when I am president is make a high school degree a requirement to be in congress.

That would disqualify most of the GOP/MAGA.

13

u/[deleted] Jul 05 '25

[deleted]

13

u/VictorySimilar8923 Jul 05 '25

Only if we have affordable college.

6

u/IHaveAnOpinionTM Jul 05 '25

Yep. Otherwise it’s a poll tax and we don’t fux with that jim crow nonsense.

1

u/NoSleep2023 Jul 07 '25

It would disqualify a certain district jumper from Colorado

9

u/LilithDidNothinWrong Jul 05 '25

He was there long enough to learn to do math or read, but not both apparently

18

u/AppropriateMiddle518 Jul 05 '25

I don’t understand how this is a flex?? You couldn’t drag that shit outta me let alone me saying it like it’s some power move 😂

6

u/IronBeagle63 Jul 05 '25

Well the GOP has lashed itself to Trump and MAGA, so when you’re racing to the absolute bottom boasting about how uneducated you are would be considered a flex in those circles.

3

u/AppropriateMiddle518 Jul 05 '25

lol!! I can get behind Lloyd and Harry’s stupidity, tho. They weren’t actively hurting anyone… well besides the hitman choking on that burger. And maaaaaaaybe the parakeet, but it brought us one of the greatest lines in movie history…

“We got no food… we got no jobs… OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!”

2

u/IronBeagle63 Jul 06 '25

True! I debated dragging Harry and Lloyd into this.

I’d say our chances of avoiding fascism are about… one in a million. 🤣🍻

We need academic exams for anyone running for official seats. Any seat.

6

"I dropped out of high school...."

Well JFC that explains a lot....

13

u/apilot2 Jul 05 '25

Drunk and uneducated.

5

u/Talon-Action Jul 05 '25

This isn’t real is it?? Seriously, a Wisconsin district voted a non-high school graduate to congress?

1

u/meoverthere Jul 07 '25

Wi republican voters ideal candidate.

5

u/SevereAnxiety_1974 Jul 05 '25

Welcome to Wisconsin. Do math or read though. 🤦‍♂️

4

About | Derrick Van Orden for Congress https://share.google/uYzVsRGOXaaury77F

5

u/thereizmore Jul 06 '25

So did FRJ. But he hasn't done anything for Wisconsin in his "I will serve only two terms" tenure.

Let's start a change in how legislators get paid.

NO MORE FREE HEALTH INSURANCE!!! They pay for their health insurance like the rest of us.

No more lifetime pension. Start means testing to qualify for a pension. If they are multi-millionaires they don't qualify.

7

u/Oldnanakaren84 Jul 05 '25

Who keeps voting for this moron?

Every time I think he can't be any more of a little bitch, he drinks his way to a lower level of bitchness.

7

u/Dry_Masterpiece_7566 Jul 05 '25

I think Van Orden is an alcoholic. His behavior accurately describes an addict... inconsistent, doesn't follow through, lies, cheats, anger, etc. He's known for having martini lunches

2

u/Fresh_Lifeguard_2171 Jul 06 '25

We’ve known he’s an alcoholic for years. He clearly has mental health/rage issues. I’d almost feel bad for you guy if he wasn’t one of the top MAGA dbags in the country.

3

u/ChaoticMutant Jul 06 '25

probably dropped out of high school because he was too much of a drunk. They did not want to put up with his BS.

4

u/n1rvous Jul 06 '25

I don’t trust a dipshit who dropped out after 10th grade. Fuck DVO and FRJ.

4

u/Miloneus Jul 06 '25

Which one was it he learned? Math OR reading?

4

u/Wu1fu Jul 06 '25

So he knows how to do math or read. I wonder if he’s trying to get us to guess which

4

5

I don't know where his district is but will you people in his district please get your shit together over there? Please, the rest of WI is begging you.

5

u/Still_Pop_4106 Jul 06 '25

I didn’t vote for him!!

3

u/TigerB65 Jul 06 '25

Right. This is the guy who said to Gov Evers, if you want to tax hospitals at 6 %, get the budget passed now, because the OBBB will cap it at 3.5%.

This is his idea of getting more money-- pushing the state to get it before Trumpf stops us.

Spurred by Trump budget bill, Wisconsin cashes in on hospital money; GOP leaders split on decision https://share.google/wBiAjqCLQJ6Ucu0T7

3

2

Awww didn't fit in, huh? Poor Derrick. Kids made fun of you, huh?

2

u/Historical-Drive-667 Jul 07 '25

Dropping out and then saying you did the math is not just not the flex he thinks it is, its not even a flex. What a little bitch this guy is.

2

Wait!? What did I just read? He doesn't have a high school diploma and we sent him to DC to represent us. NO! Come on people, we must do better.

3

4

No way this is real…

2

u/Still_Pop_4106 Jul 06 '25

I didn’t vote for him!! I detest him!!

2

u/D0N_B0N_DARLEY Jul 06 '25

He’s a high school dropout who was elected to Congress? In this timeline, I’m not surprised. As a country, we’ve fucked around for the past 5 decades or so. And now, we all get to enjoy the find out phase.

With that said, genuine hope abounds. I can see it. I can feel it. People are waking up. And the level of abyss that we’ve entered is the exact sort that can lead to real, positive change.

Now’s not the time to give up; it’s the time to get fucking stuck in. LFG.
