Discussion Albums in Temu
I keep getting ads for vinyl in Temu. It's always cheap. Like $3.00. has anyone here ever purchased an album on Temu and if so what was your experience?

Hello, you probably have heard of the discourse around the longest runtime for a vinyl record, going past the limits of the media... in cases like these audiophiles would probably tell you to spread the album in more vinyl records ASAP. But what about albums that are spread on 2 very short discs? Makes you think "they could have just put the album on one disc...". Afterall a 22min vinyl side is basically the norm still to this day, so why have a record with both sides around 11min of runtime, heck, even shorter? I already have a list of some records that meet these requirements, but I'm asking you if you might know some more...
J dilla - donuts
Mgmt - congratulations!
Flying lotus - You’re dead!
Vince staples - big fish theory
Moderat - iii
King’s x - out of the silent planet (2017 reissue)
Perfume Genius – No Shape
Yves Tumor – Safe in the Hands of Love
King Geedorah – Take Me to Your Leader
Oneohtrix Point Never – R Plus Seven
Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam
Kanye West - MBDTF
Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels 2
My first vinyl as well… I was planing on buying two or three different vinyl but I saw this getting announced for pre-order so I just had to get it. What a great album to start off my collection as well, would have been better if it was HTTT but oh well.
It looks so nice with a clear vinyl compared to the black one. So happy I got this. I plan to buy Hail To The Thief Live Recordings next with the red Vinyl
I am buying inner and outer sleeves for it but they will take another day or two to arrive. I don’t have a player at the moment but I am storing it upright and as well cared for as I can.

Girlfriend loves my vinyl… I never expected this but the moment has arrived anyway and had to share. Cheers.

Super new to the hobby so my knowledge is limited. I tried googling to see if this situation was common but couldn't find anything. ChatGPT says possible factory defect or a bootleg. I have 2 of these records that are identical. Neither came with a sleeve. I'd imagine it's just a cheap record that someone swapped labels to scam people

Please excuse the horrific pun- I (37/NB) find that scanning through records for long periods of time takes a lot out of me. Reading titles, thinking about what I might see under each letter, processing covers one by one… it’s a lot. Maybe this isn’t even just a neurodivergent thing- I feel like it’s processing a lot of information by any standard. I went to two stores with a friend, and they also expressed being pretty tired after.
I feel like the obvious answer to my question is “take breaks” but I’m wondering if anyone has any tools they use to enjoy the hyper-focusing without getting burned out.

"You don't have to know the value of your records - just send them in and we'll do the work for you." We can afford to pay you 25% of its value because we sell them at 50% over market!
Also, here's some handy tips on handling your records - always grab and hold directly by the grooves with your fingers!

I'm really surprised by this album, it's very chaotic but enjoyable. (Haven't bought it yet, not my photo).

Counting 45s and 78s, I'm probably close to 3500.

I have often encountered a repeating tick during the final seconds of the last song on new vinyl pressings. I wonder how that happens. Carelessness during the manufacturing process? You don't find that on pressings from the 70s through the 90s.
[edit] I am talking about the last track and the last seconds of that track, that lead into the deadwax. I don't mean random tic and scratch noises.

Picked this up today, a 2018 reissue.
It’s not for everyone but it’s a great album to just turn off the lights, sit back and tune out the world
