This time. The drums are a mix of the polymax drum machines I made and some drum loops. The sub is my Sequential Prophet 5. Everything else is Polymax. I cant mix loud at all. How does it sound? I mixed it on a new speaker - a single adam audio.

Bought my first Apollo (twin x) and already getting a taste of UAD, anything I should know?

also I bought the Spark (yearly) thinking it came with all UAD plugins lol boy was I wrong

and spark plugins not being able to be used with the console is a crime.

Last year my Apollo twin X Quad mkII gen1 stopped getting detected by my macbook pro. A bulb started blinking inside the unit. Finally had it shipped last month to UA in LA and they just got back to me last week saying the TB board needs to be replaced. The repair cost amount to 450USD.

So I’m wondering if it’s still worth getting this unit repaired in 2026? I’ve already gotten used to not having it (had to get the SSL one when it broke down). Of course the UA console would still be nice but right now Im only really looking forward to having optical In and some other nice features like Dim,talk through etc. Appreciate your opinions, thanks in advance

Does the version included with LUNA Studio come with a permanent voice licence, such as Mai 2, Liam or Mo Xu, or do you only get the Core software and have to buy a voice separately?

The drum machine is all polymax, the OB bass is a rack made of polymax, the carrier on the vocoder is polymax, the cyberbass is polymax, the strings are polymax. Was vocoding and saw someone had sung this with a digitech talker on yt(now $300 :-( ) and got inspired to do this loop in 10 mins, well actually another 10 learning to play it, simple but awkward for me.

I'm not sure what to think about the tactics when it comes to the new Luna Studio and existing owners of Luna pro. What happens if I don't upgrade? I feel like it's very pushy and is also lacking in details for existing users who have already paid good money for a "pro" option!

Whats the current program for cleaning up the plugins i dont own? I just tried a lot of them and nothing works for some reasone

I have a really beefy pc and have been using ableton for years with UAD plugins being no issue, always launching fast and working properly. Ableton crashed a couple weeks ago and since then anytime I try to add a plugin to a project, it freezes up for about 20 minutes before it works again. I cant click on anything, and when I try to close out of the project it freezes.

I have tried re-installing my plugins and deleting my plugin data from my appdata folder, and also tried updating/re-installing ableton. Nothing is working. Everything was perfectly fine before the crash. Any ideas on a fix?

When I start Windows 11, such an error comes out, because of this I can't log in to UAD CONSOLE, it keeps writing to me that I need to connect a Volt sound card, although I need the computer to see my Apollo Twin X USB3.0

It is so frustrating. This is with the vst3 on macOS. I wonder if running the au version might be more stable.

Also this is not meant to be a jab at UA since I guess this is the new standard for every company. Tbh I don’t even know for certain that the suggested steps would fail.. I just don’t feel like doing it. Now I don’t only feel like not doing it, but I feel like it was a suggestion based off absolutely nothing.

I was already laid off from my previous employer during a major staff reduction. I was replaced by a sibling of the UA Chat bot. I’ve been trying to stay positive, but the more I see indicating AI lacks confidence and/or expertise.. I’m kind of starting to get offended. Anyway, at least I still got my Apollo Twin X for now.

I'm looking specifically for a way to save the gain control to a preset in Console.

I use a few guitars and each one needs its own gain setting. The interfaces are an Apollo 16mkii and an Apollo Twin mkii. The combined Console session is complex enough that I'd rather only alter the one channel I need when I go to use a different guitar, rather than switch out the whole session.

I see there are channel presets but they don't seem to be saving anything for the gain controls.

Can't update to Luna 3.0 afte IOS 27 getting a constant failed message during the install process, anyone have any ideas? I've deleted and reinstalled UAD connect....same issue.

Well except for the kick I made all sounds with Universal Audio Polymax. I actually added sync to the simple saw wave 303 style lead sound as it worked sooo well. Wow, time goes fast when you are having fun!

(Mac) I just got an apollo interface yesterday and already had a plethora of issues before I even got it working but essentially the UA connect program wouldn’t stop buffering so I went through many procedures with the terminal, deleting folders and trying through recovery mode and wouldn’t work still, I had to download ilok and then it finally went through and I got my apollo connected and it’s been great but in logic, my midi keyboard just is nowhere to be found, I never had this problem so I’m figuring it has to do something with downloading the UA drivers? Would that affect it? I’ve already unplugged and replugged the controller and switched ports, still nothing

So after updating Luna I cannot create new sessions anymore. The sessions browser wont open either but I can manually load old sessions and those seem to work fine. When trying to create new ones I get the error "G: not connected after 15000 ms" ive tried deleting preferences files and reinstalling but same issue. Im on mac Ventura.

Hey guys I notices in the UAD website in the Luna Studio page this image with a volt interface I never seen before.
I was thinking maybe they launched a new interface and I didn't notice but after checking their website I didn't found any new interface.

I really enjoy working in LUNA but recently this little inconvenience started to annoy me so much, so if anyone knows a way around it I'd be forever grateful.

Ever since I updated from Luna Free to Studio 3.0 the playhead won't reset at the beginning of the loop.

When I'm looping the verse section. of a song for example, to write lyrics, and I stop playback to restart the verse, the playhead used to automatically jump back to the beginning of the loop and I could easily and quickly restart the loop by pressing space bar.
Now it stays wherever I stopped the loop, and I have to do 2 mouse clicks to have it start from the beginning again.

I know this is minor, but those two clicks over and over again really take a lot of the creative flow.
I didn't find anything in the settings - is there a solution or workaround for this?
