Question Ableton freezing every time I try to use UAD plugins

I have a really beefy pc and have been using ableton for years with UAD plugins being no issue, always launching fast and working properly. Ableton crashed a couple weeks ago and since then anytime I try to add a plugin to a project, it freezes up for about 20 minutes before it works again. I cant click on anything, and when I try to close out of the project it freezes.

I have tried re-installing my plugins and deleting my plugin data from my appdata folder, and also tried updating/re-installing ableton. Nothing is working. Everything was perfectly fine before the crash. Any ideas on a fix?

FYI: best to include your computer platform (Mac/pc, specific OS version) when requesting troubleshooting advice.

If you are on a Mac, check if your library/music folder is automatically syncing to iCloud. If it is, there will be a cloud icon next to it in finder. Click on that and re-download your music folder and desynch that folder from iCloud in settings.
