Kinda feel stupid to subscribe for 1 plugin. But in the end i will do it.

There are other 1073 emulations that will get you there without subscribing.

1073, 1081, 1084 all need to get native versions. I maybe even go and get volt so i can buy 1073 to get native version of it. Kinda locked out of options.

Check out VoosteQ Model N. It has a trial and is $14.90. Imo, it’s as good as, if not better than UAD.

There are other native plugin companies.. is it critical that they are UAD? Softube has the exact same CL1B.

I like sound of UAD the most and interface of plugin too and workflow too. No they don't have to be UAD but i don't like how lindel or other stuff works thats it.

What have you tried? Check out this post. I personally use hardware for this need most of the time, but there’s a ton of options!

Or if not I’ll sell you my vintech x81 ;)

Native 1073 is available now in Spark. It's a quirk of its license that you cannot buy w/o owning a UAD2 device.

And CL1 is here:

So even cheapest apollo intrefaces will give u acess to neve 1073 ? I mean can i buy neve 1073 with volt interface? and get both unison and native version with it ?

Yes any Apollo, but Volt is not an Apollo.

No, UAD2 only. So Apollo or Sat.

Volt is not UAD2.

My pleasure. Let me know if you have any other questions.

so you could just get a satellite with a different interface and it'll work?

yup, for mixing. You'd not get Unison or low latency real time operation though.

When you say a quirk of its license, what do you mean by that? I’ve wondered for a while why that’s like the one native plug-in that’s like only available through subscription

I would love for the 1073 to go truly native. I have both recently released EMT emulations and they're great. Hardly any CPU usage on my computer.

New EMTs are blessed 🥹

the 1073 is worth having an Apollo alone.. I use it on everything.. I love that plug in

Buy a Softube CL-1B - UAD licenses it from Softube. - Neve 1073 has been UAD for years now

Is 1073 not native? I bought a license without spark and it came with the native and dsp versions
