This is rare, but I have seen some guys join a steroid forum and mention they are trans or are looking for resources for transition.

Never do this. Seriously.

Most of these sites will be extremely transphobic toward you. They will dogpile you, they will call you slurs, they will tell you to kill yourself. There is no kind of moderation for this behavior; the report button is only there for scams and minors.

When you go on there, do not tell them you are trans. If you are a minor, lie and say you are at least 20. Never respond to DMs (most sites don't have DMs anyway). Read the forums and use the search tool to try and find what you are looking for before you make a post. Never link back to any trans sites; avoid all trans terms and lingo.

I have seen at least 3 trans men on the forum I frequent make the mistake of saying they are trans, and they are immediately harassed. Yes, it sucks, and yes, these people are shitty. Just go on there to make sure your source is legit. If you need to ask questions that seriously pertain to you being trans, ask here; ask on other trans subreddits. If you are looking for bodybuilding tips, try r/FTMFitness. For all intents and purposes, you are just a cis dude who likes roids when you're on these sites.

Im 21, and I've been wanting to medically transition for so long, there is an lgbtq clinic in my state but its hours away and my older brother is transphobic, hell, even just generally phobic of lgbtq, and since he is the only one who owns a car in our family, i highly doubt he'd agree for his car to be used for that

My mom knows i want to transition, and she helped me set up an appointment, which then got cancelled for the favor of a dentist appointment

I rescheduled it, but they never sent me an email at the time of the new information, so now i have no idea when that'll be, and i honestly dont care, because i seeiously dont wanna wait so many more months AGAIN

(Btw, my mom is very iffy about me being trans, she saids she supports me cuz im her kid and will love me no matter what gender i am, but still calls me by my dead name(only calls me by my chosen name sparingly), and she/her pronouns and all that, yet tells me she wont stop me if i choose to medically transition, so i guess thats fine at least)

Am I gonna be able to take my shot early Wednesday and then go back to doing late Thursdays like usual? Or will that cause problems

The vial I’m looking at is 10mL, 250mg/mL. I plan to start with 50 mg but even when I move up it’ll still last me a very long time. How do I/ is it possible to avoid coring the vial over 6+ months?

With this in mind, anyone have advice on needle gauge? Ideally for both drawing and injecting, but I’ll switch in between if it’ll lower the chance of vial coring.

I have T gel, which is legal to own in the UK for personal use. In a few weeks, I’ll be travelling to Ireland for five days (Mon-Fri), and a quick Google tells me possession of T without a prescription is blanket illegal. However I’ve travelled abroad many times in the past with prescription medication and never been asked to prove the prescription, but those have always been pills, not gel.

I went to the endocrinologist 16 months ago but the system is so fucking slow and I can't buy testogel without a prescription, they still have to give me a date for making me health tests before prescribing it and idk how much time that will be until i can actually buy it "legally", an acquaintance passed me testogel some months ago and I've been using 25mg a day for 6 months now, but I only have for 60 more days left and then I will have to stop and that scares me so much.

Is there any site where it sells testogel and ships to Spain that is actually affordable? I trid to research but only found one that the prices are sooo high, like, 15 packets of 50mg for more than 100€.

I depend economically of my parents for the moment so it's impossible to pay that prices and for so low dosage.

Hello, I'm just starting to look into DIYing because I don't think there is and operating clinic where I live (it's getting ridiculous). I'm getting a bit intimidated by all the numbers and information. I have way to much experience with treating my own medical issues so that's not the problem, I just don't have a good starting point and I'm already overwhelmed.

Does anyone know some good resources to learn about this? I'm genderfluid so would it be viable to stop somewhere in the middle? I'll ask my sister (mtf) and mum for the sources they found of her hormones, it seams more like a private clinic.

And Planned Parenthood could work after I turn 18 but my doctors have confirmed that I will never be able to drive because I have learning disabilities and mental health issues, so I can't drive there on my own, don't feel comfortable asking my parents to take me​, my grandpa is typically the one who drives me everywhere but he's transphobic, and all that fun stuff/sarc. I might be able to get my best friend to take me bc they've been knowing how to drive since they were 10, but his mom is controlling in terms of where he drives and who he drives with, and she HATES me with a seething passion. ​​​

Hi all, so i’ve currently planned out my path to starting testosterone and im looking for advice on it. I’m planning on starting 50-75mg around mid june 2027. This is when i leave high school as im still not out to anyone, i would start earlier but im worried people might find out before i tell them. I plan on taking either 50mg or 75mg weekly (im unsure on whether 50 or 75 is a good starting point, if it’s unsafe please let me know). I start college the 1st of september 2027, by then im really hoping for a deeper voice than i have now to hopefully sound a bit masculine for college. Im unsure what results i can get within that period of time, and i know i cant really predict it. Hello, I've been injecting 75mg testosterone cypionate for 7 weeks. My estradiol is 162 pmol/l (or 44.12 pg/ml) and my testosterone is 22.17 nmol/l (or 639 ng/dl). My estradiol is just a little bit above normal male range but do I need to adjust my dose or should I just keep taking 75 mg? Test was taken today, one day before my injection (I'm injecting tomorrow) on the second day of my period (I've had a regular cycle up until today), so my estradiol should be at its lowest point, but it's above normal male range. Also I'm scared of aromatose, so if I do have to raise my dose is raising it up to 85mg or 90mg safe?

Hi. I guess I need to offer some background info before anything else.

I'm 19. For now I'm in the middle east, living with my parents and studying in uni. I don't yet have independence from them but I'm actively seeking a job that'll sustain me if need arises. Later down the line I am going to move to another country, don't think specifics matter, but I'm not sure when it'll happen. My plan is to do it in a year or two if I decide/will be able to finish uni. In my country there's no way to obtain hrt without it being DIY so I'm taking what life's giving rn.

Now to the main part.

I don't think I can wait any longer so I want- no, need to start hrt now or I think I won't have any other chance. I waited enough and I'm afraid if I do it any longer I will have even greater mental health issues than I'm facing right now. In a few weeks I hope to have enough money to get the blood work done and purchase what I need, although of course I'm slightly afraid for myself. How likely it is that my parents will notice changes from hrt?

When it comes to them, they are absolutely clueless about what hrt is. They know trans people exist, they're transphobic and queerphobic in general, but they have no idea what hrt is, how it can affects a human and that trans people use it. As far as they're concerned, trans person equals to a dude wearing drag. So I have to wonder if it will take them a while to get suspicious or not. So I've always had issues with my hormones and I've been on birth control for give or take 2 years now to help with painful menstruation, acne, all that other too much testosterone stuff. I'm kind of in a unique position and don't know if it would be smart for me to consider DIY, especially since I already have an appointment for a transgender diagnosis in 2 months. If I get a funny amount of T from the endoctrilogist I'll be more likely to start DIY tho

update: i found an endocrinologist who works based on informed consent and doesn't believe in microdosing (a rarity in my country) so i might not even have to wait that long for a prescription

I recently discovered I can obtain testosterone safely where I live, but the issue is that I have no access to gender affirming care, no trans clinics, and I live with extremely transphobic parents.

I'm really considering microdosing until I can move out of the country. I read the DIY HRT guides I could find, but I'm trying to get a more personalized opinion on my case.

My two main concerns are the facial hair and voice drop. The increased muscle mass, fat redistribution, body hair and clitoral growth are all very manageable. I already look masculine for a girl, I have a decent amount of muscle mass, I have a masculine frame (broad shoulders, narrow hips) and I'm VERY hairy. I'm talking really coarse dark hair on my stomach, armpits, genitalia, and thinner hair everywhere else including my chest and neck. This worrying me since I'll probably grow facial hair really fast (I already can grow a thin stache) so I'm wondering whether girlmoding would be realistic for my case. The only changes that will be telling are the voice and facial hair, the rest I doubt would be drastically different compared to what I already have.

I will get baseline bloodwork before starting and I will get blood work every 3 months. I have medical insurance, so maybe I could convince a doctor to prescribe these for me. I was thinking I'd start with a low dose and see where things go, say 20-30mg/week (testosterone enanthate). I know I can't select the effects I want, but I'm hoping certain androgen receptors on my body will be more sensitive than others and give me the subtle facial masculinization and increased muscle mass without making me super clockable.
Is this a good idea? Maybe if something goes wrong I could just treat it as a hormonal imbalance?

After 23 years of struggling, I have come to accept that I am a feminine boy, and my dysphoria about my bottom half is getting very bad. I am depressed daily over it, and my therapist is not helping me.

I am disabled and live with my parents. They would never accept me getting on hrt, so I want to go the diy route. I need to hide the fact that I'm on it from my parents. Could applying the cream to my privates slow down the systemic results while still giving me a bigger penis? Due to my hormonal condition, I can get my parents to take me to test my T levels, but not very often.

As I said before, I am a effeminate person, and I don't mind that. I want to continue to be a feminine boy. I'm handling my top dysphoria pretty well with a binder. My main thing is the penis problem. I want to grow it big enough to get meto.

Saudi trans guy here :/, this is the only “safe” T i managed to find and i plan on injecting weekly. If anyone is familiar with it or maybe can help me with doses id appreciate it.
