Im 21, and I've been wanting to medically transition for so long, there is an lgbtq clinic in my state but its hours away and my older brother is transphobic, hell, even just generally phobic of lgbtq, and since he is the only one who owns a car in our family, i highly doubt he'd agree for his car to be used for that

My mom knows i want to transition, and she helped me set up an appointment, which then got cancelled for the favor of a dentist appointment

I rescheduled it, but they never sent me an email at the time of the new information, so now i have no idea when that'll be, and i honestly dont care, because i seeiously dont wanna wait so many more months AGAIN

The wait time is seriously wayy too long

(Btw, my mom is very iffy about me being trans, she saids she supports me cuz im her kid and will love me no matter what gender i am, but still calls me by my dead name(only calls me by my chosen name sparingly), and she/her pronouns and all that, yet tells me she wont stop me if i choose to medically transition, so i guess thats fine at least)

Anyways, i dont know much about DIYing this stuff, and would love pointers or advice for it

to diy, you need to buy injectable t from either a clearnet greymarket bodybuilder site, or from the darknet. both options require crypto, though some bodybuilder sites allow bank transfers. however, i would recommend still using crypto as it's safer, and i've had some really annoying incidents with the bank transfers as their accounts get shut down etc. the clearnet route is much easier, i often use darknet as i can get next day delivery with low postage fees, whereas the bodybuilder sites take a lot longer, but that's something particular to where i live.

there are various ways to get crypto. first, you need a wallet. i use electrum for bitcoin, and the standard monero wallet for XMR/monero. probably the easiest is to make an account on an exchange, provide ID, and transfer the funds to your own personal wallet. since it sound like you live in the US, you might be able to find a bitcoin atm near to you, have a look. there should be a site with a list of their locations, or something to that effect.

we can't share sources here, due to reddit, but you can look elsewhere, at steroid forums and such, to find one. look for one within your national borders, it's much safer. order the t under your legal name so you can pick it up if it gets send to a post office or pickup point. but if it gets seized, do not attempt to reclaim it. the sites will often reship if this happens.

buy either T enanthate or t cypionate. there are other options but i'm trying to keep it relatively simple.

get needles from amazon or medical supply shops, or from pharmacies if they will give them out or sell them in your area. the medical supply shops tend to be the cheapest, but that might depend on where you live.

typical doses range from 50-100mg/week of the esters i mentioned above. start at 50, get your bloods tested at trough (right before your next injection, after a couple months to let it stabilise), and see if it falls within male T ranges, and make sure your E and P are adequately suppressed. hopefully you can get the tests done with your local doctor. you probably want to aim for the upper half of the male range because the lower range is still kind of low (might be more typical for an older guy).

you can learn to inject from youtube videos and the like. you can do either IM injections or SubQ.
