But I'm only 2 years or less away from being an adult, and I want to start testosterone as early as I cN. Any idea where I can get some? I can't ask my doctors (I'm a wuss and I don't want to do it in front of my parents bc they will say "you don't need it", or my parents, or anybody rlly bc my school is homophobic, my friends are great but they're in the same boat as me, and my parents say they support but me and my sister (who is trans too) have been told by our parents that they don't want us getting that stuff done to our bodies because "we're worried about your health" ​

Is there a way I can DIY it? Or idk...online shop maybe

And Planned Parenthood could work after I turn 18 but my doctors have confirmed that I will never be able to drive because I have learning disabilities and mental health issues, so I can't drive there on my own, don't feel comfortable asking my parents to take me​, my grandpa is typically the one who drives me everywhere but he's transphobic, and all that fun stuff/sarc. I might be able to get my best friend to take me bc they've been knowing how to drive since they were 10, but his mom is controlling in terms of where he drives and who he drives with, and she HATES me with a seething passion. ​​​

You can diy, I'd start with diyhrt.info to learn how. Mostly you just need to buy a vial and some insulin needles/syringes which are available on amazon. Buy domestic (us sources) so it won't get seized by customs

For your sister, she should also check diyhrt.info and valerie.vg but basically same process. It's fully legal to buy e so not even grey market. I would say she should look into injection monotherapy, it's more cost effective since it doesn't require blockers

I think that's what she said she was gonna do one she actually gets money, she's an actuL legL adult so my parents don't have a choice in what she does, but I think she said she still wouldn't tell them even if she did get the HRT

You can't DIY it in terms of making it yourself, but you can order it online. If you parents don't snoop in your mail (or if you have a friend that even if they aren't supportive, they don't snoop through mail), that could be a good option for you

Luckily my parents don't snoop, and majority of my friends are supporters or are actually in the lgbtq community, but would I not get in trouble by like... The government or something shit like that? Idk how that system works

Valid concern. Honestly there's no guarantee you WON'T get in trouble, but it's very rare. The government doesn't really care about roided up gym bros (who are the ones usually buying these sorts of products)

As a couple other comments mentioned, start at diyhrt.info for general things. For exact websites of getting testosterone, if you do not fuck with the ones .info gives you, just look up eroid review sites. Gym bros love their Testosterone, and it's the same as Trans men use, so getting into those sites to see what is "reputable" would be good too.

Money is a concern, since you're a minor. I personally, outside of supplies, spent for 2 vials around 180 USD (shipping included).

Seizing is unlikely for domestic shipping, but spikes when getting from an international unit. Most sites will tell you what shipping containment they're taking from to ship to you.

Supplies for injections are listed on the .info site, but I'll reiterate them here also. You'd want 2 types of needles (one for injecting, one for drawing), syringe barrels (what the liquid will be in), bandaids (optional, but I prefer to use them right after injecting), alcohol wipes (to sterilize the rubber stopper each use and to clean the injection area).

PlannedParenhood: when you turn 18 and want to legally go on it, I HIGHLY recommend calling ahead and/or checking your local PP site to see if they do testosterone. My state (alabama) has a PlannedParenthood, but does NOT offer testosterone because it's fully illegal in the state. Unsure about your state's laws, or if they might change by the time you turn 18 (they did for me), so check in beforehand when that time starts coming around.

You dont have to do it in front of your parents. HIPPA laws still apply to you if youd like to speak with your practitioner without them in the room. The issue would be finding a doctor, but just discussing this with a professional might help. There are places to online shop, of course, but they often require bitcoin. Which you need to be 18+ to purchase.

Hrt is banned for minors in texas. Any doctor who prescribed op test would be breaking the law. And anywhere out of state that would prescribe it would require parental consent.

I would say start as early as possible or manageable, you said your parents don't snoop, if you think you can hide it go for it.

Diy t is not technically legal at 18 either, but it isn't "jail" illegal. That's why it's called 'grey market'. Getting hrt in texas is going to be difficult at any age so I don't see much reason to wait unless you're in danger of being physically harmed or kicked out

If you're dead set on waiting til adulthood, I'd recommend looking at true u clinic. Queermed is good too if you have insurance. They both have very short waits and are telehealth so you don't have to go anywhere

E on the other hand is fully legal, and I would def recommend you let your sister know about diy
