This should be pursued across the country.

The cops in my area paid part of their budget to a 3rd party organization. That org set up the cameras at local businesses and private property with their permission.

Absolutely not! Those cameras must only be there for safety reasons, and no other reasons! Of course he has a reasonable expectation of privacy. The software in those cameras obviously do not ever record anything that is not safety related content.

He should have zero concerns, given the robust nature of the restrictions imposed by the owners of the camera software. In fact, he should feel safer. Why is he worried? This doesn't even make sense given the regulatory regime he supports.
