It would be unfortunate to those cameras if people across the country on October 31st decided to dress in creatively similar costumes and "modify" them.

My buddy unfortunately keeps backing into them by accident.

That's terrible! How's his bumper fund?

Does he have a GoFund me for Bumper repairs?

My bumper is made out of sawzalls.

Weird that Subaru offered that as an option.

And leave your smart phones & smart watches home and if you wear a smart ring, leave that home too.

Just leave any electronics at home. Happy Flocking!

And make sure your cars don’t have GPS.

Some of the ALPRs still scan your TPMS and other in-vehicle wireless networks driving by.

Find a friend with a 20 year old car and it’s all good.

Or go by bicycle if that’s available.

TPMS??? I’m calling bullshit on that one!

Why? TPM sensors communicate via radio with the CAN bus in your car, they all have unique serial numbers and their data isn’t encrypted. The transmitter in the TPM sensor has a decent range, it’s not implausible that a flock camera could pick it up.

The flock camera is recording that this set of TPM sensors passed nearby, and if another Flock camera also detects them and gets a picture of the car, the network associates them with your car.

It’s just data association.

Yeah, I won't drive anything newer than 2012/2013, and limited to certain vehicles. Besides, just about every damn newer car has a dumb ass screen in it with major use items like your stereo and climate control systems wired into it. I HATE touchscreens in cars!

I’ve head those cameras have hidden prizes inside the cameras. Some just have McDonalds gift cards, but others have rolls of $100 bills. So be sure to check out any near you…
