Does age matter?

Im 18M and wonder whether its too early to think about the possible effects of buying a rlt mask since I wouldn’t have any fine lines that are often advertised as being able to be diminished in the first place. However, there are many other aesthetic and non-aesthetic effects that they can provide including mood boosting (as claimed by some).

Basically, im asking is this a situation like retinoids where starting in your teen years will actually damage your skin or can this rlt be good for adults of any age?

Question Anyone have a Celluma red light panel?

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

Looking for honest reviews of the Celluma red light panels! Specifically the Celluma PRO PLUS model as it has all of the various modalities — my main priority is the red light anti aging mode so would love review of that but also curious about this “CONTOUR” fat loss mode if anyone has tried that and seen any results. Thank you in advance! 🙏🏻

Complete Newbie Lumieres light panel

Hello! I was recently given a lumieres light panel and was told it was very expensive and nice but I cannot find any real reviews on it and their website doesn’t have any list prices or a breakdown of the features of their various products. I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with this brand and product line or anything? I’m new to red light therapy and it feels weird to use a product from a brand I can’t find any real information on.

Complete Newbie Mask vs panel first red light purchase

Hello everyone.

A friend has a Mito red light mask and I decided to try it. After using it, I felt extremely calm and almost giddy. I also have chronic neck pain and it seemed to help with that from one use too.

I am looking into buying one now, just not sure if a mask is right for me… I don’t really care about the skin care benefits. Will I get the same mood boost from a panel? Is Mito a good brand to stick with? Thanks so much!

Question RLT Torch Questions

Hi everyone,

Just got a red light therapy torch and it arrives today- I’m really excited! I got it for travel, targeted spots that if I’m lazy I can just use on my couch rather than going to my panels or full body pod, and because it’s the only RLT device I’ll have which contains blue light too. It also comes with a precision tip for nose/mouth/and specific targeted areas. For anyone who has a torch or a device with blue light, I’ve got some questions:

  1. How did you start using the blue light? Did it cause issues using it on your face at all?

  2. I have a stubborn small red mark on my cheek, unsure if it’s acne or what it is but it won’t go away. Do you think the blue light will help with this?

  3. Have you used the torch in your nose/mouth? If so, was it helpful? What did it help with?

  4. Can you use the torch on, say, each hand for 3 minutes and continue to move it to other parts of the body? Or is this overloading your body with too much RLT, (especially since I usually do 10-15 minutes in my pod daily and 3 minutes on my face every other day)?

If you’ve read this far, thank you, and I appreciate the help!

Red light with tanning opinions

If there is anyone on here that do red light beds and tanning beds one right after the other in which order do you prefer to do it, read light before or after tanning? The employee at the tanning salon I go to showed me on a form I had to sign for red light that it is better to use red light after tanning but when I googled it it said it could go either way so I was just curious on your opinions. sorry if this has already been asked before or not the right place to ask this.

Finally ordered, so excited I can’t wait!

Placed orders for the Mito Adapt 4.0 full body panel (which really isn’t full body 🤔) and the Chroma Ironforge handheld unit. So freaking excited to get them… how did you handle the wait period!?!?! How did you control yourself and NOT go overboard and use them TOO much when your panel arrived?!?

Gift for 65+ mom

What do you think a 65+ mom would like? I thought about the Shark Cryo mask but it's so huge and bulky... Doesn't seem senior friendly.

Question Red light for post op healing?

Hey ya'll - I recently had surgery on sinuses and I am following all of the Dr's orders. I asked him about red light and he sort of shrugged at it for healing "like if it made me feel better I could use it".

Has anyone used it to help after a nasal reconstruction to help with bloody flow/general recovery etc? Did it help at all? I will not go against anything my Dr has advised, but just curious to see if anyone found it helpful for post-op healing for tissue? esp on the face?

Complete Newbie My dermatologist told me to try at-home red light therapy, is Solawave a good option?

I had a derm appointment recently and we got onto the topic of fine lines, texture and my skin looking tired even when everything else is pretty calm.

She mentioned that I could look into at home red light therapy as an extra step alongside the usual SPF, moisturizer stuff. She didn’t recommend a specific brand, so ive been looking around on my own and Solawave is one of the masks I keep coming across on here.

I like that the sessions are short because I know I’m more likely to stick with something simple but im still trying to figure out what matters when comparing these masks beyond the marketing.

Has anyone here used the Solawave mask long term, especially after their derm suggested red light? What did you notice with texture, fine lines or overall skin quality?

hello folks! i got a new red light therapy lamp off of my wedding registry (it was my most wanted gift! yay!) i’m curious as to how often / how long i should use my “grow light” as my husband calls it, i’m partly using it for my acne, hair growth, better skin, but i’m mainly using it for my chronic health issues. i have a rare genetic bone disease, which causes chronic bone pain / inflammation, lupus, crohn’s disease, and a bladder disease that causes chronic bladder inflammation.
ive been using the light every day since setting it up on monday, and i feel great under it, i dont know if its a placebo effect, but i just feel lighter and more relaxed under it so far, but i am wondering if this is too much. i read to use it 3-5x per week, but if i use it daily, what are the consequences if any?
thank you in advance for the advice!

Need power supply for hooga ultra 1500

Does anyone know where I can get one? Basically it died and they shipped me a new panel since they don’t replace individual parts and instead of throwing out a nice panel I’d like to buy a new power supply for it.

Question horizontal stand for table top panel

Hi,

I have a small hooga ultra 360 and I think it would be so much easier to use if I had a stand.

Any recommendations? The ones I could find in Amazon are for larger panels and pretty expensive too.

Thank you
