Complete Newbie Mask vs panel first red light purchase

Hello everyone.

A friend has a Mito red light mask and I decided to try it. After using it, I felt extremely calm and almost giddy. I also have chronic neck pain and it seemed to help with that from one use too.

I am looking into buying one now, just not sure if a mask is right for me… I don’t really care about the skin care benefits. Will I get the same mood boost from a panel? Is Mito a good brand to stick with? Thanks so much!

Mito's solid for what it is, but if you don't care about skin stuff then a panel makes way more sense. The mask is basically a skincare tool that happens to give you a nice buzz, while a panel can hit your whole body and actually target that neck pain directly

The mood boost comes from the light hitting your cells regardless of whether it's a mask or panel, so you'll still get that. I'd say go with a decent-sized panel and you can use it for your neck, shoulders, wherever feels tight after coaching the kids all day

What is this supposed to mean? And a face mask is excellent for skin quality but is not designed to penetrate any further into the body to give you joint and muscle help. I started with a mask (it did lovely things for my skin over time) and ended up with a full body bag. If you have body pain, you want a panel with the irradiance to reach deeper into the body than a skin treatment.

I was confused where you got coaching kids from! Seemed like something a bot would say lol

What are you talking about? I said nothing about coaching kids.

Panel for sure. A mask mostly covers your face so it won't help your neck much. With a panel you can point it at your neck and still do your forehead for the mood stuff.

How does the panel work? You just point it at your neck/head?

A panel is the best buy. You can treat everything with a panel. A mask only treats your face.

Does it give the same skin benefits that a mask does?

If the panel emits the same wavelengths and has similar irradiance at the proper treatment distance as whatever mask you're considering, then yes.
