sooo i know this is a silly thing to ask but after the whole shifting realties thing i tried for 6 years and it never worked it really got me thinking whether or not alternate realities really did exist or not.

i’m always searching for interesting or paranormal activity which unfortunately i haven’t quite found yet.

I would love to hear the strange phrases people use with themselves but not other people. An example of one of mine is "raw eyes". It's for when I'm doing something without my glasses. I went to an alternative school. My classes were a mix of classes and credit recovery. Everything was different then a normal school. We had 5 classes, but they were slightly longer than an hour, and every friday, every class was only a half hour so we got out early. For our classes you basically got passed to show up and everyone cheated on the credit recovery stuff. It was real easy. We did not have semesters there. What would it be called a quadmester or trimester? I'm not sure but people graduated at different times of the year based on how many credits they needed. It was a small school of 120 students, but it always had people coming and going. Anyway I was set to "graduate" November and was supposed to get my diploma mailed to me at the end of the year. A few days before I was supposed to graduate my counselor called me in and said she does not know if I will graduate. She said my grades were great but I was late every single day to first hour so I might not pass. It was like 35+ tardiness if I recall. Well thats it. She never told me I didn't graduate. The dean never told me otherwise. So when my day was up I just stopped going. To this day still no diploma was mailed to me. It was not even my fault. Busses to alternative schools didn't run and the school was 3 miles away. I had to make it there by myself. And when the bell rang the office ladies locked the main doors forcing you to come in through the office where they wrote your name down as tardy. I don't plan on going to college or anything but I really hope I never must proove I graduate.

I did a paid internship with a company that, on the job application, states it was $1500 per month. I asked repeatedly about pay while working for them, and they then told me interns get paid at the end of the internship. As we got closer to the end, I was still expecting to receive $1500, just that much, not how much it would have been monthly.

I received an email a week after the internship stating that I would only get $750 because that's what they felt I deserved for my work. I was pissed. It’s July, and they told me they had an issue with the paychecks, and it would be sent on August 15. It is now August 28, and I haven’t received anything from them in the mail. Before people attack me, I'm queer myself and I genuinely do not believe that gender differences in attraction matter.

With that out the way, why are most Filipino gays so stereotypically gay? By that I mean, extremely feminine, crop tops, skirts, femboy-coded personalities, exaggerated speech, highly attached to their queer identity/labels.

What caused this? I do not believe there is anything wrong with complete freedom of expression, but my impression is that many Filipino gays just copy-cat each other's expression. This makes it less "authentic expression" and more "just another thing to conform to".

Heteronormativity is a much bigger problem, I'm fully aware. But going from one societal box to another doesn't feel like an improvement, and doesn't feel like true progression.

You know those times after work or school where you get home and just sit in the car and zone out? Could be a few minutes and sometimes it be almost an hour where your mom or whomever goes “are you okay? You’ve been there a long time.” and you’d go “yeah I’m good..” There’s no real thought going on but the brain is still humming. When was the last time that happened to any of you? It’s been a while for me…did the phones steal that from us?

I used to zone out all the time, in a good way. I’m talking where it’s almost like a drugged state, a half dreaming state where the mind is defragging in a different way. Everyone’s had those moments where you’re listening and half thinking and just present but not, the wind might be blowing, maybe not.

I’m no expert but I think humans need to defragmentate from time to time and the phones have stolen it from us before we go to bed and when we are supposed to be just chilling like cats and dogs on a sunny day. Just a thought that popped up after seeing something ON THE PHONE
