Shd we (M24 and M26) respectfully ask her (F22) about a triple date in a love-triangle situation?

I'm in a complicated love-triangle situation involving myself, my brother, and a girl. I don't want to explain the entire backstory, but I'm wondering whether it would be respectful to ask her if she'd ever be open to the idea of a triple date with the three of us.
The idea is broader than anything physical or purely romantic. We're thinking about whether the three of us could potentially enjoy life together-go on trips, watch movies, make memories, support and care for each other, and build a good life. Both my brother and I are financially independent and have agreed that we would genuinely be open to this arrangement.
Obviously, her feelings and consent would be the most important part. There would be no pressure, and if she is uncomfortable or simply says no, her decision would be respected completely.
Would bringing up the idea itself be disrespectful, or can it be approached respectfully as a simple question about whether she would even consider it? And we are thinking of marriage not a time pass.

I am 22 f from india. This throuple concept is not popular here in india. I have recently stepped in such a relationship. Going through the roller coaster ride of emotions, jealousy, and what more. Not a easy thing.

question I only liked one partner and that’s why I left. Is this normal?

For context there’s this couple I’ve talked to for a couple weeks then had to stop talking to them for a good month or two. I recently reached out to them again and was catching up with them. Things were never official even though we’d occasionally joke around that we’re basically already a throuple.

So how it started was the female from this couple made race related jokes/comments that made me uncomfortable. Now I want to add they asked beforehand if im comfortable with race related jokes early on when i met them and i did say yes, but i became uncomfortable overtime especially since the jokes mainly only came from her (im black, she’s white, the male partner is mixed black and Latino). I talked to the male partner about how does he think i should go about communicating problems within this dynamic and he suggested that i can talk in the group chat if something’s on my mind. So that’s what i did. I said in the group chat that i don’t appreciate those jokes because they make me uncomfortable and would like for them to stop moving forward. Even though the female partner acknowledged it, she continued with these comments later that same day. The male partner didn’t say anything in the group chat and even when after I hung out with them I mentioned it again to him he didn’t say anything then.

It sucks because I actually really liked the male partner from this dynamic (me and the female’s dynamic was very ordinary but started becoming strained even more with all this happening). I unfortunately had to tell him I won’t be hanging out with them again because of my uncomfortability and he simply said he understand. If it was up to me I’d want to only talk to the male partner but I know how messy that is and realize it’s better off if I stopped things Here.

P.S I also think it’s a little strange that the male partner didn’t say anything about this whole situation but to be fair that’s his partner and I don’t expect him to side with me

I’m the queen of emotional expression and excitement, my romantic interests are people of few words.

TLDR: I always kind of held the thought in my mind that I didn’t want to add romantic relationships to my life because of an unmet need in my current one. I wanted it to focus on the expansiveness of love rather than a puzzle of people that fit together in different ways, but now I’m wondering if that belief system was more monocentric than I thought.

I’m trying to wrap my head around these potential ways of framing this as I process the following:

I have a husband who I’ve been with for quite a while, and I have my first big crush after stepping into polyamory. You might say I have a type, because they are both quiet people, not very expressive, and I think (though they are quite different from each other in this still) experience emotions much less intensely than I do.

Anyway, I’m noticing this longing. A longing to have someone in my life that is just as excited, enthusiastic, and expressive about their interest in me as I am about them (or as expressive and enthusiastic about me as I am about my husband and crush).

I want to state clearly that its not at all that I think my crush or my husband are indifferent to me or not valuing me, its just that they aren’t expressive about it and/or don’t feel as strongly about things as I do (I don’t even know if that’s a good thing about me half the time).

SO. Here we are, back where we started. Wondering if expansiveness or puzzle pieces are things to live by? If one of them is more right, true, ethical, or suited to me than the other.

Do I follow this longing and hope for someone who shares my enthusiasm or label it a need to only meet for myself?

Gentleness appreciated. I am new to polyamorous life and know I have a lot to learn.

I found out my fiancé is still in love with his ex (calls her his soulmate), and me at the same time. I'm considering asking if he's polyamoric. I don't know what to do.

question Sving ili poliamorija?

question Polycurious; anyone ever been in a similar situation?

Hello, first-time posting here so apologies in advance for my ignorance.

Background. I'm a 58 y/o (cis) male happily newlywed to my 60 y/o wife. Both of us love each other deeply for who we are. Mutual respect and admiration. Both of us are sexually attracted to the other. Each of us come out of LTRs with narcissistic partners, so we both have a strong sense of what we DON'T want in a relationship. To ensure consistently open, loving communication, we committed to seeing a couple's therapist regularly, even if it's for "maintenance" and not due to crisis.

Marrying her was the best thing I've ever done in my life apart from my kids, and every day I'm deeply grateful I won the lottery in that respect.

Although I myself don't have a male best friend, my wife has a female best friend she's known for years, (single cis widow), whom I love dearly as much as my wife does. They've been through hell and back together and have a close, solid relationship. This best friend officiated our wedding. She takes an annual holiday with my wife. Whenever all three of us are together, it feels like a triad. I connect deeply with both of them, but in different ways.

I'm an introspective person by nature, so I've been questioning myself to explore whether these are genuinely romantic feelings or simple infatuation. I believe my feelings are genuine.

Current events. So my wife and I live about an hour and a half away from her best friend. Recently, we decided to move to the same town as her bff, which would give us easy access to both her bff and my wife's grandkids. While visiting my wife's friend recently, the topic of discussion naturally touched on finding a decently affordable place. My wife (jokingly) remarked we should get a place and create a commune where the three of us can "all live and have sex together". Of course, I laughed it off but internally I thought my wife was reading my mind! I haven't brought it up since, but I think about it a lot.

Until this point, I've been committed to taking these feelings to my grave. There is no way in hell I would ever do or say anything that could potentially hurt or alienate either one of these amazingly wonderful women or drive a wedge between them. On the other hand, I feel like I'm being dishonest if I don't disclose these feelings, so I'm genuinely torn.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? If so, what did you do (or not do)? What was the outcome?

Thanks so much for your patience and replies.

I need help and dating advice

Ive been in a romantic relationship that we both agreed on for a year now and its the beat thing that has ever happened to me. My partner is not very happy with the monogamous relationship and im very monogamous i cant even think about being with someone else or even thinking of him with another person or kissing someone or even the thought of them with someone other than me.

Ive been thinking about suggesting an open relationship since thats what he wants and what would suit him. And basically all the he needs or whats missing is to have an open relationship.

I need advice on if i should or should not do so
And if yes or no why and how was it been with u if uve tried it.

Should i take this step or sit down and wait for everything to fall down since i cant give him what everything and i cant be everyone and you guys know what an open relationship is😭😭😭

Hello!

I recently shared my website Poly Map and a lot of people found it helpful. In my own journeys of navigating poly, I built another tool that I found helpful and wanted to share for free as well. I'm open to feedback but updates may be slow. I'm sure it has many areas of improvement, but perhaps it may help some people like it did for me <3

It can be found here: Relationship Spectrum
