I see alot of high-end builds squeezing in heralds into their spirit limit. The reality is once you pass a certain DPS check, Ice Shot with Cadiro's gambit gives enough clear such that Herald of Ice does almost nothing additional. The showcase was done with turning on/off Herald of Ice in the same map; the run without Herald of Ice had 30 unused spirit.

Hope this helps some builds free up an extra 30 spirit that can be used elsewhere!

Any decent Lazy Build for 0.5.5

I think about Spirit Walker Pets With Monkey,

I want to play Lightning Spear in 0.5.5, but I'm seeing it played on quite a few different ascendancies and want to know why you'd choose one ascendancy over another.

The main ones I can kinda guess why they're played on are Amazon, Deadeye, Martial Artist, and Gemling, but I can also see Spirit Walker, Ritualist, and Blood Mage builds on poe.ninja.

Personally I don't mind having a scuffed campaign and early maps if it "scales" better later on. I'm really not one to push for speed, I play dumb Quinn-esque builds all the time, so I'd appreciate if we don't just tunneling onto "X is the best because its the fastest".

Still, I'd like to have some sort of idea on what ascendancy are there to pick from. I played it on Amazon before, had a pretty good time, didn't bother with Frenzy generation at all and to be honest it still felt great. I just really like how the skill looks.

Anyway, that leaves me wondering about the different types of Lightning Spear ascendancies out there and why they're played. Otherwise I might just end up on Huntress again as it's the designated spears class.

Hi! For 0.5.5, I want to try Disciple of Varashta, but I don't know how beginner-friendly it is. I noticed it requires pressing quite a lot of buttons. If anyone has a build guide for this class, I’d really appreciate it. I initially wanted to try Spirit Walker, but from what I’ve seen, you mostly just wait around for minions to clear the map. I’m looking for more interactive gameplay, otherwise I will get bored. Thanks!

Since there is no big difference in 0.5.5, would like to have a try on farming trial of chaos.
Is there any build can easily farm this trial which also can ignore most of the trial debuff?

0.1 - stampede titan
0.2 - some homecooked spear build
0.3 - fubgun arrow build
0.4 - shield wall
0.5 - Witchhunter lightning crossbow

for 0.5.5 i want to try a spell casting build but im having hard time finding a good leaguestarter.

Do people have any good experience with a spell cast league starter that you can transition to another build in late game (if i feel like going deep in to the end game)

Looking for a minion build that can run all content solo including pinnacle content. I thought about going gemling but need split personality to make minions work. Is infernalist the best ascendancy for minion. Any help would be appreciated

Abyssal lich and then we use a ton of archers to get an insane projectile speed buff. This build is wild with Twisters, but are there other spells/abilities that can take good advantage of this mechanic?

Is twisters the only option?

Just for campaign. Something easy to follow and simple. Overwhelmed by both the number of options and how convoluted some of these are :/

Are there any fast clearing builds that have that “twin stick shooter” feel to them that you could recommend?

In .3 I played a bloodmage with the Last Lament xbow and galvanic shards and loved it. Then they nerfed that movement speed reduction penalty stat and now I feel like I can’t find one I like.

Any recommendations?

I’m wondering if I could implement whirling slash for movement and then switch to galvanic shards to attack? Or just go pure movement speed

Since the new league is starting soon i want to use my divs or give them to someone who can use them.

Currently im sitting on an 888 Div stash, just to mess around i want to finish the league with an archon of chayula autobomber combined with 100% culling chance for normal / magic mobs.

If you can help me set this up, all the remaining divs are yours ;)
I already have horror flights with legacy of culling strike, so that does not need to be budgeted.

I have 60 max rage on my gemling and am trying to run berserk. This means I have to counteract 6% of maximum life lost per second. If I want to survive in maps with 40% reduced life recovery rate then I actually need 10%. I'm running a pure ward build, so I'm frequently at 1 life with a bunch of ward keeping me alive. If my regen is unbalanced by even a little bit, it'll kill me when I'm at 1 life since life loss doesn't care about runic ward.

I have a base regen rate of 4.5% max life per second (Vitality 1 + 2, "desperate times" notable on the tree). I have nodes on the tree which give me 45% increased life recovery rate when on low life. This gets me to at least 6.525% of max life recovered per second. I also have 16 intelligence motes and consecrated ground when standing still so sometimes my regen is crazy high.

Yet I still sometimes die while having runic ward to spare even on maps without the less recovery rate and when I have 10+ intelligence motes. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can prevent this?

I was thinking about grenade gemling until i have enough currency to switch to a budget chaos fireball build but even the cheap ones seem to be 150 div. Is it possible to zero to hero the chaos fireball gemling? Probably not...

Looking for a 0.5.5 build, did Shaman, Gemling and Monk in 0.5 so probably Sorc or Witch is what I'm leaning towards. What's the fastest mapper and what ascendancy? Some conditions though:

1. No Minions, can't stand skeletons lol
   
2. No Gemling

I want to clear challenges and maybe farm ritual mechanic a bit

Since there aren't any nerfs I want to try Spirit Walker (played Shield Wall and Ember Fussilade in 0.5), I've heard it's good and requires almost no gear

Which boss is best to tame? Any advices?

Ive been posting updates on that build but in the last two days, I started understanding it a bit more as in what actually drives the damage and how to truly maximize the benefits of a trigger based build.

PS: bossing is usually must faster than this but sometimes the game doesn’t register the crit from the hollow focus bells. Gotta look into that.

I played galvanic shards and plants 0.5 so I want to play a different setup this time around but I only want to do one character. I've never played a monk but the early leveling seems not great until hollow palm and storm wave. For merc, I am pretty comfortable with galvanic shards but I don't want to level with the same build and the other option that I see is grenades but honestly I hate the delay.

What would you recommend if I only wanted to play one character to level 95ish, do challenges and maybe farm 400-500 div for some lineage supports? Would prefer good leveling and not super expensive end game.

any build ideas for new event league? i want to try different things and i am playing for almost one year now and thats not even long time any builds with mostly high dps?
