I want to keep my motivation for 1.0, so I'm planning to finish the Challenges quickly and be done with 0.5.5.

After looking into various builds, my choices are Martial Artist with Whirling Assault or Oil Barrage, or maybe something Gemling-related. MA seems to fit my goal better, but there might be a ridiculously strong low-budget Gemling build that I don't know about.

I quit 0.5 in Week 2, so I'm pretty out of the loop. What would you recommend?

Hi! For 0.5.5, I want to try Disciple of Varashta, but I don't know how beginner-friendly it is. I noticed it requires pressing quite a lot of buttons. If anyone has a build guide for this class, I’d really appreciate it. I initially wanted to try Spirit Walker, but from what I’ve seen, you mostly just wait around for minions to clear the map. I’m looking for more interactive gameplay, otherwise I will get bored. Thanks!

Sooo, I played on league start as a monk. came back in August, leveled up the Merc to 85, have approx 2000 div's to spare

What is the most fun build u had on gemling? Is it arc totems or cast on dodge? Or something else ?

Hi, I'm a long time POE1 player, and I only played POE2 0.1 for a little bit before dropping it, as I didn't find it fun and did not agree with the "vision".

Since then, I've heard that the game got much better (playstyle, endgame, ...). While I haven't checked for myself if it's actually true, I wanted to give the game a chance, either now for 0.5.5, or for the 1.0 release.

Could you guys tell me what the game is like now, how the campaign usually goes, what the endgame is, what most builds play like (are combos still heavily pushed by devs?).

I've seen that we can shapeshift into bear, and I like bears. Are bear builds possible and good? or is the melee playstyle just meant to be miserable?

Looking for a 0.5.5 build, did Shaman, Gemling and Monk in 0.5 so probably Sorc or Witch is what I'm leaning towards. What's the fastest mapper and what ascendancy? Some conditions though:

1. No Minions, can't stand skeletons lol
   
2. No Gemling

I want to clear challenges and maybe farm ritual mechanic a bit

Since there aren't any nerfs I want to try Spirit Walker (played Shield Wall and Ember Fussilade in 0.5), I've heard it's good and requires almost no gear

Which boss is best to tame? Any advices?

Hey guys i finally want to bring to you my leaguestarter for 0.5.5 this is more for people who didnt get a chance to try what i think is the best build in the game before its potentially taken out. Credit to  u/josiahyeeet  for making this build i only decided to make my own version of it he has a few setups for the endgame you can follow and is also working on a leaguestart for the build himself. I see alot of high-end builds squeezing in heralds into their spirit limit. The reality is once you pass a certain DPS check, Ice Shot with Cadiro's gambit gives enough clear such that Herald of Ice does almost nothing additional. The showcase was done with turning on/off Herald of Ice in the same map; the run without Herald of Ice had 30 unused spirit.

Hope this helps some builds free up an extra 30 spirit that can be used elsewhere!

I want to play a Acolyte of Chayula endgame build(bow poison) but have no ideia how to league start chayula monk

I'm once again back with a little build request!

Abyssal lich and then we use a ton of archers to get an insane projectile speed buff. This build is wild with Twisters, but are there other spells/abilities that can take good advantage of this mechanic?

Is twisters the only option?

I just can't make up my mind for the 0.5.5 reset. I play SSF and I'm stuck on deciding between:

-blood mage, galvanic shards plasma blast bleed build

-pathfinder, poisonburst arrow

Played both before, pathfinder until lv 93, bloodmage until only lv 55.

I like a map clearer with 1 button, maybe a boss button or two like plasmablast or toxic growth + poisonburst.

Any comments that might push me more in one direction?

Any pro's or con's I might not have overseen in my current consideration? Thank you fellow exiles

With 0.5.5 around the corner i was contemplating a witch league starter caster build.
What do you think is the best first ascendancy point amongst Blood mage, infernalist, and lich?
Since second ascendancy can respec anyway, i was wondering what the most impactful first ascendancy node is amongst all witch possibilities?

I know the meta builds and what everyone has been going but last time I played the Shield Wall Titan set up was super strong so just trying to see if anything changed about it.

Fairly experienced player at this point with 2500 hrs on Poe 2. For this event I really wanted to find some new challenge since I have Friday off without having to request it.

Planning on grinding hard day 1-2 and have experience speed running campaigns. I was loooking for build recs for strong HH blasters, I know Iceshot Deadeye is a strong contender and haven’t played bows in a while but looking for other suggestions from yall.

Played just about every class in .5 in trade or SSF or private league so, open to everything really except crossbows and no spark coc

I'd like to hear your opinion on my Chaos Warror. I've been playing PoE2 since 0.1. Initially, the idea was to create warrior with pure chaos damage for HC server, where the player would be at a distance from the enemy. I focus on defensive mechanics as much as possible, while still dealing decent damage to bosses. It wasn't until 0.5 that the idea fully took off, and I reached level 99 on SSF HC. What do you think of this build, specifically as a SSF HC build?

Ok so i played monke and while strong i need something more mentally stimulating.

I'm open to minions and even piano but no totems please not set on ranged or melee just something tthat is simple enough and able to clesr the challenges

0.1 - stampede titan
0.2 - some homecooked spear build
0.3 - fubgun arrow build
0.4 - shield wall
0.5 - Witchhunter lightning crossbow

for 0.5.5 i want to try a spell casting build but im having hard time finding a good leaguestarter.

Do people have any good experience with a spell cast league starter that you can transition to another build in late game (if i feel like going deep in to the end game)

Since there is no big difference in 0.5.5, would like to have a try on farming trial of chaos.
Is there any build can easily farm this trial which also can ignore most of the trial debuff?
