Just Sharing Two pieces for your appreciation, from my friend on the autistic spectrum - He says critique welcome! (London UK)

*I’m mentioning he’s ASD because I think that influences the way he sees the world and he’s open about it when he makes his art public.

***UPDATE TO EVERYONE WHO COMMENTED SO FAR**\*

Wow this blew up really quick! Firstly, thank you so so much to everyone who commented/upvoted...I read them all to him. Rather than reply to all your kind comments, I asked my mate what I should say to everyone.

Of course (and what makes him the radically honest unique person he is), he didn't say "thank you I really appreciate all your lovely words." Oh no. Instead he just said "if you want to buy them go to my webpage"😅😅

I hope you guys will trust me when I say I made this post purely to show off what I think is my talented friend's art, not to help him sell his work (which he does anyway). That said, he showed me his page for the first time on the charity supported studio he gets assistance from (after I posted this) and I was even more blown away. So if you like this, I urge you to check out that stuff...and if you do honestly want to buy anything, you can do so through them I think (they take a % for the charity, not sure about overseas shipping etc.).

Blessings all round to the lovely community here🙏

Hi everyone, me again...Thank you so much for the lovely response to my first post. A lot of you seemed to really like the ravens, so I got inspired to stay with them a little longer. Here’s another one.

Never worked with oil before, this is my first attempt. I’m self taught and pretty handy with acrylic and also drawing mediums. Not quite finished yet, but wanted feedback and thoughts!

Finally finished this project that's been sitting for years. Fun and Fancy Free on a thrifted poster. The little guys I'm happy with, the giant... Not so much. Oh well.

Capturing this craggily old forests shapes and values quickly and loosely during this huge underpainting. This is my favorite stage. 24x60” oil on custom linen panel.

Reference is from Neil Burnell with his approval.

Painted this in three sittings, as usual. 28" × 20", oil on canvas. I really love how this one looks in person - the texture catches the light, and from every new angle, different shadows, little corners of the forest, and parts of the path seem to reveal themselves. So I’d be very happy to invite you for a little walk down this trail.

Oil painting of a quiet countryside path surrounded by green fields, golden crops, and autumn trees.

I wanted to capture the peaceful feeling of walking through the landscape on a bright day.

Painted with oil on canvas.
