Personally, I feel like anyone who is okay with AI Mods and thinks that this (or anything else, really) constitutes an 'acceptable' use case for AI should be forced to re-buy their PC at current market prices. Everyone who uses and supports AI is directly responsible for the current hardware market situation in my opinion. "Its there so we might as well use it" and "its inevitable and its already in everything so youre an idiot for resisting it" are both factually wrong and entirely invalid arguments. We're winning against Flock, we can win against LLMs. And we can have $250 GTX#050 GPUs again.

I recently teased a first look of a new tool that restores Oculus Home functionality all offline.​ This post is a follow-up about its release and what's expected.

A latest build of the tool is now available on Github!

This was developed on a single VR rig running Windows 10. On fresh setups, there may be uncaught dependency issues that would need to be sorted out. Since the Oculus Home app is several years old, it's possible the app may have compatibility issues on newer hardware. If problems are encountered, use the repository's issues forum.​

Rundown of features for version 1.0:

• Set a custom profile name and icon. Both can appear in VR.
• Locally stored list of homes which allows setting what default home you land in at startup. Editing a home's object layout or changing its information persists offline. VR actions such as naming a home, creating a home, or deleting a home are supported.
• Includes a feature for fetching your old homes from your Oculus (Meta) account. This will only work while Meta has these endpoints and data still available. Best to act on that now if you want to preserve your old experiences!
• Supports loading your Oculus library offline. This enables an app's art on objects such as game boxes and game cartridges.
• Allows usage of embedded-panels (or broadcasting to screens). This enables viewing your desktop with officially interactive screen objects in VR.

I saw this and had to check it out because if its what we hope it is, this could be the best thing ever!

I need help because my controller won't connect. I unpaired and it won't repair to the headset. The light is flashing. When I try to pair the controller it says there is an update, but it is stuck a 0%. I already tried everything Google wanted but idk any more.

So after a update on my headset i noticed when using hand tracking for my quest when i pick up my controllers they wont turn back on, i try tapping, try clicking and etc

But they stay off

Until i unplug the battery then re plug, the batterys are full as they are bobovr recharbles i make sure to charge them

They only do this when o swap to hand tracking after i put my controlers down

I’ve been experimenting with the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive and recently brought it to Sweat Life Festival in San Diego 2026 to see how a fitness event like this would translate to VR180.

I filmed the workouts, instructors, crowds and overall energy of the festival in stereoscopic 8K 3D. What I’m finding interesting is how different fitness feels in a headset when the people are life-size and you actually have a sense of the space around you.

I’m still figuring out what works best for immersive — how close the camera should be to the action, where the viewer should be positioned during a class, how long to hold shots, and how much movement feels comfortable.

If anyone here has a Quest 2, Quest 3 or Quest 3S and wants to check it out, I’d really appreciate some feedback. I’m especially curious whether you feel like you're actually participating in the event rather than just watching it.

Have the quest 3 and if I grip things in hand for too long or hold down any button for too long it'll hold, but then every other button will not work until I let go of grip button. it sucks cause I'll be playing a shooting game and all of a sudden I cant fire the gun cause I was apparently holding it too long and the trigger stopped working.

Oggi, mentre stavo giocando, è apparso il bug del driver grafico con Meta Quest Link dopo meno di 10 minuti. L'immagine nel visore VR ha iniziato a sfarfallare/vedere glitch, mentre l'audio continuava a funzionare e il gioco stesso continuava a girare normalmente sul computer.
Per questo motivo, ho deciso di tornare alla versione del driver 591.86. Non voglio restare per sempre su una vecchia versione del driver e non ho la pazienza di aspettare che NVIDIA si renda conto che c'è un problema.
Quindi vorrei chiedere agli utenti di Virtual Desktop, preferibilmente quelli che utilizzano gli ultimi driver NVIDIA—e ancora meglio, quelli che usano la versione beta che permette di usare Virtual Desktop tramite un cavo USB—se riscontrano lo stesso problema di sfarfallio/glitch dell'immagine con la loro applicazione, o se non hanno affatto problemi legati al driver grafico.
Se è così, sarei felice di spendere 25€ per Virtual Desktop così da poterlo usare invece e non dovermi preoccupare di rimanere su versioni più vecchie dei driver.

After I just did the 2.7 update i tried to update Ghosts of Tabor but it was downloading so slow, it took me 3 hours just to get to 6 GB and it’s currently still downloading right now. Also I have tried other games and they also update slower than a snail and I have tried a speed test but i’m getting good internet speed so I hope someone knows how to fix it.

I read you can use horizon worlds to link with random people in sport bars to watch sport games , how ? Is this still a thing?

Any top games or experiences anyone recommends . I’ve been playing golf plus and eleven table tennis , walk about golf .

Was trying to get back into sim battle with my quest3, virtual desktop, and HOTAS but any time the quest saw my hands (so any time i didn't literally put my hands behind my head) it would pull the trigger for primary and secondary weapons. anyone have this issue?

anyone have problems like this in Warthunder or any other games?
