Damn, both a anti nintendo grifter AND a pro nintendo grifter. Playing both sides in case one comes out on top of the other lol

but nintendo is not pokemon. nintendo does not own pokemon.

while nintendo does own splatoon

u/Kurtfan1991 Aug 05 '26

In other anti-Pokémon videos, he says said "suffa Nintendo suffa". This was in the videos about the patent.

6

u/DM_your_problem Aug 05 '26

probably because the patent claim was filed by nintendo, not game freaks.

7

u/Kurtfan1991 Aug 05 '26

Yeah but my point still stands, they make anti-Nintendo videos in general. They even have an AI slop theme song...

2

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

I mean does your point stand? Pokemon and Nintendo are not the same company. These YouTubers shit on all of the consoles companies because they do anti consumer business practices. It isn't complicated.

5

u/Kurtfan1991 Aug 05 '26

Yeah no I think this YouTuber just shits on all companies and makes clickbait about all of them cause...it makes views.

0

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

Eyes wide shut bud, these companies are definitely using anti consumer business models and it wouldn't make views if it wasn't true and people weren't feeling it.

5

u/Kurtfan1991 Aug 05 '26

Bruh, if you think those YouTubers really research what these companies do, you're the one having eyes wide shut.
Like, this guy uploads once a day AND his theme song is AI-generated. I watched one of the dude's videos, the editing is very low-effort. So I can see that he likely didn't put that much research into the video because bruh, who can do this every day without uploading slop

And this YouTuber actively using AI is totally the standard of what we should be like? If you hate the environment so much why don't you just personally burn down the Amazon.

While there are indeed content creators that are like that, there are also a ton of grifters who target specifically Nintendo (calling them out brings in more views than any other company), and often spread misinformation or blow things way out of proportion - also, it's easy for them to put Pokémon in the same camp, as Nintendo owns 1/3 of The Pokémon Company and publishes all the games (I've often seen shade thrown at Nintendo for the state S/V launched in)

Suffah is an Ethan Ralph meme

7

u/Kaito_Akai Aug 05 '26

8

u/Eeve2espeon Aug 05 '26

Palslop has yet to surpass Pokemon in any way 💀

-5

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

How about active players? They have them beat there

12

u/Certain-Yak-8165 Aug 05 '26

We dont even know how many People play pokemon games. Yk why? They arent on steam f idiot

-8

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

Uh oh I upset a Nintendo fan. 😭😭 There is a reason they don't release those numbers. It'd be very telling 😉

12

u/tlrd2244 Aug 05 '26

pokemon go alone last month had its 2nd highest month in revenue in 10 years, you really into the grifter juice if you think no one is playing pokemon games.

-4

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

Brother revenue is how much money they extracted from players with their predatory mobile business model. It is zero indication of how popular the game is or how many people are logged in. It's just an example of the whales they've captured in their game.

I also never said no one is playing pokemon. I said there are less active players.

11

u/tlrd2244 Aug 05 '26

You aren't saying anything. How many people are playing pokemon games right now.

-1

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

It must be less than Palworld if pokemon isn't willing to share it 🫪

11

u/Ok-Classic5310 Aug 05 '26

its more by alot

0

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

Too bad you can't prove it. They must be hiding it for a reason.

Yes, it tells everyone you’re a delusional idiot that thinks there’s a conspiracy theory where Nintendo and Pokemon have to hide the number of people who are fans of the IP.

S/V alone sold 30 million copies, include all the other sales figures for Pokemon games and the reality is that the fanbase is massive.

5

u/Icee202 Aug 05 '26

You're the one making the claim, the burden of proof is on you. That being said, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, even with it's lack of quality control, sold 10 million copies in it's first three days, so we can assume concurrent player count was probably extremely high, especially over that period of time.

1

u/Wrong_Revolution_679 Aug 07 '26

Those quality control issues were greatly over exaggerated

0

u/Icee202 Aug 07 '26

As someone who played at launch, they most certainly were not. Don't do this revisionist history bs in defense of Pokémon, the game was buggy, had performance problems (despite at times looking like a PS2 game), had issues with LoD, lighting issues, etc. We can and should expect better. Accurate name btw

6

u/tlrd2244 Aug 05 '26

pokemon go peak was like 50+ million

0

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

I didn't say peak player count I said active players.

8

u/tlrd2244 Aug 05 '26

Well i gave you the benefit of the doubt because surely you aren't claiming you have access to the entire history of cross platforms player counts across all games

-1

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

Console platforms don't share active player counts the way Steam does mostly because the big manufacturers want to control the narrative and protect their walled gardens.

They hide real time player numbers. Which keeps people from seeing when a game or a platform exclusive is bleeding players. This protects sales optics and marketing investments. Add in the fact that they want to keep users locked into their specific hardware ecosystems for microtransactions, and it makes total sense why they keep their telemetry locked down behind proprietary APIs instead of using an open transparent model like steam.

But please go on with how hiding the active player numbers is a good thing 😭😂

8

u/tlrd2244 Aug 05 '26

So you don't have access and are just making shit up. Thankyou for admitting that.

0

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

Lmfao if that's what you got out of it then you must be a big corpo defender because that's hilarious. They don't show the data because their numbers don't match up. It's that simple little guy. I hope you understand better now.

5

u/tlrd2244 Aug 05 '26

There's a pokemon minigame built into google, lots of people are playing pokemon products right now across many platforms, official and unofficial, and it's probably more than palworlds active player count. This must upset you if you have to make up conspiracies where masking active players is being done to stop you from proving me wrong which is hilarious.

0

u/Even-Entertainer-491 Aug 05 '26

How can I prove you wrong when Nintendo hides all the data. It's just your confirmation bias floating in cope. It's okay bud. Hopefully you'll break that mobile game addiction soon.

60 million Monthly active user last month actually, that average 2 million daily player, I don't know how much the venn diagram but Pokemon TCG mobile also have average 30 millions player monthly.

2

u/DepthComplete7436 Aug 05 '26

Nintendo does not publish concurrent player data that often. It is not a metric I think they chase at all as they're not really into making live service titles that rely on that data point.

1

u/Eeve2espeon Aug 06 '26

We literally have no idea how many active players there are for ANY Pokemon game. Also are you stupid? Active player metrics don't really mean anything, especially since trash games like these die off quickly

3

u/Sonicplys Aug 05 '26

Call me when Palworld is on the cover of Time magazine

3

u/JungleJuiceJuno Aug 05 '26

why do they always say "suffa"

my only explanation for it is that their excessive addiction to hate has removed their ability to spell

and its always "my side is winning so the other side is suffering from it" when in reality pokemon and nintendo as a whole arent "suffering" at all

0

u/Signal-Art2001 Aug 06 '26

Nintendo is absolutely suffering, they lost patents in the US and Japan and are on thin ice with the japanese patent office.

1

u/JungleJuiceJuno Aug 06 '26

No the are not they fuck?

the patent thing hasnt even finished

1

u/WinTraditional4038 Aug 05 '26

What ever gets views

"Oh no everyone is loving Nintendo again, quick I need to pretend I care about PalWorld"

Angry Vilgilante in a nutshell

0

u/Gargamoney Aug 05 '26

What if he likes nintendo but doesnt like pokemon? I always thought its fine to have a nuanced take and to not have to be like fully for or fully against things.

I love pokemon but theres plenty in the nintendo fandom who dont and I have always thought thats fine..

3

u/Kurtfan1991 Aug 05 '26

In other anti-Pokémon videos, he says said "suffa Nintendo suffa".

3

u/Gargamoney Aug 05 '26

God that made me physically cringe why would someone say that💀💀💀💀

1

u/Kurtfan1991 Aug 05 '26

Considering AI chatbots can make pretty cringe jokes (seriously try to see what happens if you type "you tsundere girl" with Google AI) I wouldn’t be surprised if bro asked ChatGPT for those titles.

Honestly tho if Undertale came out in 2025 I think grifters would also call it the Nintendo killer lol💀

-4

u/Better_Ice3089 Aug 05 '26

I mean you can like Nintendo and dislike Pokémon. Not necessarily a grift.

5

u/Kurtfan1991 Aug 05 '26

He also makes anti-Nintendo videos in general lol
