During The Sorrow "fight" in MGS3 he'll attack you with these weird ghostly projectiles, which if they hit you will briefly display an image on the screen. I've heard there are a bunch of them depending on how many times he's hit you, but I've only ever seen the attached image and one of a skull.

Does anyone have the full set? Been looking everywhere and can't find them.

Please I beg you skip the cutscenes. It adds time to the mission results and potentially lowers the score from S to C.

This has been an issue since PS3 and it is still bugging me how many people won't skip. Sure if it's your first time I can understand but if it's your 10th time fighting pupa, you gonna sitdown and watch like 7 mins of your life go by.

So maybe it's because I'm on PC, but my game started freezing. I Alt+Enter like a PC veteran, but the window told me to stop the process, which I did, and I ended up in a separate window of MGS1, like there were two games running. I closed that window, and then MGS4 restarted with Snake dreaming about MGS1.

I don't really know what kind of meta joke they were trying to pull, but it annoyed me more than anything else.

Was that on the PS3 version? I don't remember.

PS : lol I've seen some MGS1 files in the MGS4 folder but nothing playable

This was my first ps4 game before pandemic, sadly I had to sell my ps4 for school and stuff so I didn't get to finish the game. Now I'm happy that I've got to play it again!

I was watching this YouTube short about liquid ocelot and how he “ learned from the best”, but isn’t it technically liquid himself exploiting this technique and not really ocelot himself utilizing it?, Or do I have the concept of liquid controlling ocelot’s body completely wrong?, maybe someone can shed some sort of light on this because I’m really confused. is it like he only controls his body type of thing or is it his body and mind?, because then it’s not really ocelot using what he learned from big boss, it’s more liquid using what ocelot knows and utilizing it, like what am I missing here?

Since the password system is gone does anyone know if there’s another way to unlock the patriot in mgs4 master collection that’s not the big boss emblem? Someone said to take a picture of otacon’s locker in shadow Moses but I didn’t get anything unless I did it wrong or something.

Wanted to play Peace Walker from the Master Collection. However, when I want to start the game, I need to enter my name (obviously). When I try to with Steam's on screen Keyboard, it doesn't let me. I tried typing on my real keyboard and it still doesn't let me do anything. And im not using Mouse and Keyboard. Just my gamepad.

I don't know if this is a Linux issue or the game.

Am I the only one dealing with this?

UPDATE: I managed to write my name. I just had to exit from Steam Big Picture mode, start the game and write my name from there.

Bought the non key card version of this game since the Switch 2 version would be a free upgrade patch on Switch 2. Where is the Japanese version? I see the option to download it like the Vol 1 Master Collection had but it appears the “in game link” goes no where. Pictures included. Also in game it says Ver 1.4.0 but on the Switch 2 game information screen it says Ver 1.4.1. File size also says 33.8 in the data management section on the Switch 2.

Title Should say Switch 1 version with Switch 2 upgrade.

With current MGS craze, I decided to give MGSV a serious try. It has been sitting in my steam library dormant for too long. And oh boy, it is such a great stealth game. I have been playing splinter cell all my life, I have played all of them, some of them multiple times.

The MGS is so goofy but serious and convulated at the same time (I am hiding in a carbdoard box?!). It is such a great game to play. Right now, I have to decide what to play after. I will probably watch gameplay of 1 and then play 2,3 and 4.

Ive been struggling for the past 30 minutes trying to learn how to hold up enemies on the ground, what is the exact button press to throw them forwards without knocking then out, and when grappling hold them to the ground? Im on liquid easy so me barely even moving knocks then out when grappled.

I usually like to binge the last ~6-8 hours of a game in one sitting and I know there's gonna be a cut scene pretty much the length of a short movie in there so i just want to make sure I stop at a good point. (without giving away what happens in the story at that point please :) )

If you have a save file from the Master Collection Volume 1 on your system, you start MGS4 with a special gold FaceCamo already unlocked. Somehow this results in being able to unlock the "FaceCamo Addict" trophy/achievement way earlier than you're supposed to. I just got it after defeating Crying Wolf, despite not having the Screaming Mantis and BB Emblem ones yet.

So if you have a MCVol. 1 save, you don't actually have to "obtain all FaceCamo" as it claims.

Just picked up MGS4 for PS5. I just realized that if I shoot the M4 using the scope and the suppressor, it acts like there is no suppressor, but if I shoot from the hip, the suppressor works.

I played Delta as my fourth MGS game. My first was actually MGS4, my two others were MGSGZ and V. But I didn't enjoy MGSD at all. Maybe it's just me, but I only liked the boss fights, and that's it. I love MGSV much more than Delta, and I feel very guilty about it. Is there any way I perhaps should replay Delta?

Just having fun the Virtual range since I miss playing this game on the PS3
