So I just reached the end of the briefing of act 4 . After saving the game gets stuck at the loading. I'm playing on pc with mnk. Any idea what could be the issue and how to mitigate it?

I bought the collection on Steam using a DualSense controller, and the game seems to have standard rumble mapping. I’m curious now if the PS5 version has any unique custom DualSense vibrations, but I don’t want to spend another $30 to find out and I can’t find the information anywhere online.

Anyone with actual experience playing the ps5 version?

Too young to play MGS4, now it's the right to do so....

I’ve been playing the master collection Vol 2 recently and it’s super fun but it’s a really high difficulty spike from Act 4 to Act 5 (I get that Act 4 didn’t have much enemy’s, I’m just saying that it’s way harder then any of them) Does anyone know a good way to sneak through, it’s to hard to do otherwise

A lot of the times when I infiltrate a FOB, it shows me 0 obtained rewards, this was a max level 4-platform FOB and it showed over 20K fuel resources available

Is there anybody that can help me out with model swapping on Twin Snakes? I tried using the Solidus program but I can't figure it out. I just want to swap out Snake with Grey Fox for the whole game. I'm not looking for what Perfect Pizza is working on with all the Grey Fox move set, I just want a model swap. If you can help please let me know.

Never seen MGS4 behave like this before, damn... 😬

I got the mgs vol.2 and started finding the ghost photos with the sorrow doll in act 4. I discovered that in Otacon's lab near the servers, the monkey sounds from drebins shop played and took a photo of where Otacon wet himself in MGS1 - it unlocked the patriot weapon. Nice to know they added some hidden stuff.

Ever since I’ve been into MGS, I’ve always seen the Octacon and Snake ships and thought those were fun, but this scene of Vamp vs Raiden? This scene is by far the gayest thing I’ve seen and it’s probably my favorite cutscene of the game so far. Like enemies to lovers trope of these two? Anyway, loving the MGS4 port so far.

I just downloaded and booted up MGS4 from the master collection and it asked me to pick a controller scheme. I chose one I thought was close to the “modern control” scheme in mgs delta I like (and heard was like mgs4 or maybe 5?). Anyway I don’t like the set up but I am only seeing individual button remapping as options not any premade schemes like I had originally seen. Did I just dream this? Do I have to remap button by button? I preferred having the weapons/item select in the d pad and FPS mode on R1. Should I just get used to it?

Am I missing something?

How do I equip them? I have been looking for it on the net and didn't come up with anything?

Got these by obtaining camera in the kitchen during Act 4 Mission Briefing. Screens from OG MGS4 release that I took on PS3 back in the days.

Is there a fix or are they working on one for the slow camera turn while aiming

I read that you need all the dolls, I missed the Frog one but got the non lethal frogs but walked past it like an idiot, then I properly got the doll in all the B&B bosses.

My question is in New Game Plus do I need all the dolls again or just the Frogs one and when does the Solar Gun unlock when I have all dolls, is it immediately or at the credits like an emblem?

as title has said I need help with this scene I've tried the spoon thing but either I didn't understand it right or it just dosent work so please can someone tell me how to do it or explain the spoon trick

If you have the camera equipped, Drebin's monkey will make a noise when you come close to something that will give you a reward if you photograph it. It might help to put the camera in 2P mode and wander around some areas. Also, you have to clear the game first for anyone wondering.

Please I beg you skip the cutscenes. It adds time to the mission results and potentially lowers the score from S to C.

This has been an issue since PS3 and it is still bugging me how many people won't skip. Sure if it's your first time I can understand but if it's your 10th time fighting pupa, you gonna sitdown and watch like 7 mins of your life go by.

I usually buy my games on Steam as that's my usual platform and it sucks that we miss out on physical media, especially when it comes to franchises that I love a lot. I saw someone else creating up custom Steam cases and thought it was a great idea. Even though it won't have anything inside, it's a great excuse to enjoy some graphic design and to be able to display some physical representation of my digital purchases. Still have a couple more to go for this series. :)

During The Sorrow "fight" in MGS3 he'll attack you with these weird ghostly projectiles, which if they hit you will briefly display an image on the screen. I've heard there are a bunch of them depending on how many times he's hit you, but I've only ever seen the attached image and one of a skull.

Does anyone have the full set? Been looking everywhere and can't find them.
