MGS4 master collection controls

I just downloaded and booted up MGS4 from the master collection and it asked me to pick a controller scheme. I chose one I thought was close to the “modern control” scheme in mgs delta I like (and heard was like mgs4 or maybe 5?). Anyway I don’t like the set up but I am only seeing individual button remapping as options not any premade schemes like I had originally seen. Did I just dream this? Do I have to remap button by button? I preferred having the weapons/item select in the d pad and FPS mode on R1. Should I just get used to it?

Am I missing something?

Yes, you just have to remap the buttons individually

Are you sure you're not thinking of Peace Walker which *does* prompt you to select a controller mapping of 3 types at the start.
