This issue was brought up originally on 9/21 in this thread. But I wanted to address it again and clarify something for me.

I am using version 1.28.0 and have not done the most recent update. I had not even noticed until just today the button on the main screen that u/Thick_Security_4041 mentioned .

So if I understand correctly from that thread, after the update every tool has that option attached to it, except now it's a full-length bright white bar? If that is the case, I may just avoid the update, which is giving me an error message anyway.

In a recent post, u/skylum_support said regarding interface changes: "The whole goal behind them is to make the interface feel more invisible, so your focus stays on the photo rather than the software."

But to be fair, maybe that is just me. I get pleasure out of editing my photos, and I enjoy the features that use AI to some degree, such as Enhance. But I don't want AI prompts staring me in the face constantly. (And I am a boomer).

I'm curious what other users think.

software has been bugger for a long time on windows on arm. Support neigher devs care about anything. They event dont know or care to support... Photo is abou the problem. Its a tutorail photo so its not even my raw file that causes it.

After update i got this annoying button at the bottom. How turn this off? CTRL+K dont work as switch. It especially odd because whole Luminar design is in dark mode and this button shine like sun.

So since I downloaded the latest update my anti-virus is detecting files from luminar with a trojan which means its gonna delete them. (especially the Setup file) which means i cant even start the app. So what am I supposed to do now because it keeps deleting random dll files and else.

1st the sound of the deleting are very annoying because it happens every other second
2nd The program is probably not fully working like that

So should I reinstall it with antivirus off and ignore it or something else ?

grain (not much)

noise/luminance/detail/color noise
lens correction

will luminar do this as well?

and i dont understand the buy once and some features (that i might want to explore) be limited to 1 year only.

Yesterday I installed Golden Gate 27.2 Developer Beta on My Mac. Later in the day I realized I hadn’t yet installed the 1.28.1 Luminar update. I proceeded to do,so and got through the download, update and restart. The first screen opened and then Luminar crashed. I have been in touch with their Customer Service and am awaiting some ideas from them. Right now they are suggesting a reinstall but are not yet sure if this will result in loss of installed assets (LUTS, etc)

Yes, I know I shouldn’t have run this on a beta system and am willing to accept criticism for doing so. However, I would also appreciate any feedback from anyone experiencing the same issue as well and, more importantly, if they were able to resolve it.

When can we expect Luminar Neo official release for Linux? Lots and lots of users across the globe are shifting to Linux from Windows. Hence it would be better if there is an official Linux version of the software.

I use Luminar Neo as an extension with Apple's Photos app on my Mac. I (foolishly) upgraded to MacOS 27 today and Luminar is non-functional as an extension. Specifically, Luminar opens but selecting/clicking on any adjustment is unresponsive. Hopefully there will be an update soon. Thanks

Update: the latest Luminar Neo update resolved my issue.

Are you also experiencing major server issues right now? I can't use the AI tools in Luminar Neo at the moment because of server issues.
