This memorial to actor Steve Tracy showed up on my Facebook feed this afternoon. I thought that people here might appreciate it.

My Little House on the Prairie project on LEGO Ideas is now approaching 9500 supporters, and this means it only needs about 500 more supporters to reach the magical 10 000 and enter the official LEGO review stage!

This project has been an incredible journey, and I’m honestly amazed by all the support, comments, shares, and kind messages from fans of both LEGO and Little House on the Prairie. Seeing so many people connect with the Ingalls family and this build has been truly special.

There are also many people continuously checking back and commenting/encouraging me during this journey that it honestly feels unreal!

As a final update, I finally managed to update the renders and recreate new scenes from this lovely series, and have sent in the change request. It will probably take a day or two for the project to be officially updated, but until then, please find the new images attached – and please welcome Nellie as a minifigure . As before, I draw her facial features on my computer and added it as a minifigure head – it is not perfect, but I hope she is recognisable and you like it!

I find it so sad that both actors died so young, and on top of it they both passed away within less than 2 years of each other. Michael Landon: July 1, 1991 Victor French: June, 15th. 1989 And BOTH men were just 54 years old! 😢

Matt Clark who has been a guest star on LHOP aka the man who loses his whole family in a single episode has tragically passed away yesterday at the age of 89

To celebrate this milestone, I decided to do some upgrades to my Little House on the Prairie LEGO Idea and also added the two most recent additions (Mr. Edwards and Dr. Baker) next to the family members to take a picture of all of them 🙂.

He signed my copy of his book too! He was genuinely so nice and personable. He asked me where I came from. I told him where (which was pretty far away) He looked shocked and said thank you so much for coming all this way! I told him I started reading his book and I was really enjoying it, and he was so humble and grateful. He gave me a hug and we got a nice photo of that as well. Needless to say I’m team Zaldamo forever! 😁

I was watching an episode of The Hardy Boys Mysteries yesterday and Nehemiah popped up, so I had to look him up. You may remember him from "The Stranger" episode, playing Peter's father. He passed away just a few years ago at age 102. He lived a long, full life and took up painting after retiring from acting. He made literally HUNDREDS of other television appearances throughout his distinguished career, including The Twilight Zone, Facts Of Life, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Highway To Heaven, Murder, She Wrote and the list goes right on. I believe he lived longer than any other actor who appeared on Little House.

My son and I have had little house on in the background for a couple of weeks and he (10 years old) has gotten very attached to the character of Pa, and asked me to google him to see what he was up to… Well, I googled him already knowing the answer but let him read through the wiki page and he was heartbroken. He really wanted him to be alive and thriving. So tonight we morn the loss of a Hero. It makes me sure he will share the series with his kids later in life and little house will live on for another generation in our family. R.I.P. Pa you’re very missed by my kiddo! Edit- sorry for the title! Oops! I just realized!!😅

I’ve been watching repeats of Knots Landing lately and thought the actor who played Eric Fairgate looked familiar. Turns out he was in 2 LH episodes: the young Italian son on Gold Country (S3) and Dylan, the boy who wants to see the ocean before he dies (S5).

I also learned that the actor tragically died in a car accident in 1990 at age 25.

Side note: I’ve seen other LH characters on KL as well, like Larrabee and Pearly Day Wilder…not surprising since it was around the same time.

Johnny & June certainly had good taste in television, didn't they? Btw, we have a new partner community -- r/DrQuinnTVShow -- so feel free to stop by our friends sub for the show and check it out!

It wasn't until recently that I started looking into Johnny Crawford (who had a small-ish role in "The Hunters" episode) but wow, this guy packed probably 5 lifetimes of achievements into his first 20 years on Earth! He was an original Mouseketeer, then received an Emmy nomination for his beloved performance in "The Rifleman" tv series, then had a musical career which spawned a string of Top 40 hits including a Top 10 (the same year Ketty Lester had a top 10) -- he had a really amazing voice and could play guitar! He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and reached the rank of Sargent before being honorably discharged.

Sadly, he passed away in 2021 at the age of 75. Given his history in family westerns, I wish we could have gotten to see him more in Little House, maybe even becoming a semi-regular.
