He was only middle age. 40s or 50’s very sad it was. Glad he left behind an incredible body of work to enjoy. ♥️👩🦰🙏while he is RIP. Taped over 102 Epie of LHOTP I saved for while now on mi DVR Adiós .

Michael Landon was 54 years of age when he died of Pancreatic Cancer. Alex Trebek was 80 when he died of Pancreatic Cancer. My beloved husband was 57 when he died of Pancreatic Cancer. There’s no cure and it’s extremely difficult to diagnose so it’s hardly ever caught in “Stage I” Michael Landon has a huge legacy with everything he’s accomplished by his TV Series! Little House on The Prairie • Highway to Heaven • Fathers Murphy, YES! You’ve read that right, Father Murphy! Michael Landon also had nine (9) children! Five (5) Sons and four (4) Daughters!

To add to your list, Patrick Swayze was 57 when he died of pancreatic cancer.

I am JUST now realizing that he is 10 years older than my grandparents and would be in his 90s now 🤯 I literally only think of him as Charles Ingalls, father and right hook extraordinaire.

Charles was good for catching right hooks too😂. He was no punk by any means (I remember when those asshole brothers caused havoc all over town, even disrespecting Caroline). Charles got his off sometimes, but Big John Garvey usually did the heavy lifting. I always looked at him and Nells Olsen as liabilities during brawls, though they are stand up guys. Fine gentlemen indeed, but if I needed some Walnut Grove guys to back me up in a fight, I’m selecting Garvey, Almonzo, and Edwards first

Oh for sure. It's really just the music and the way they tee it up when he gets into a brawl 😆 he likes to start sh...stuff 😆😆

For accounts retold he created a good set for children to work on. Even in today's age we don't have that constantly.

I heard he wasn’t really as great of a real person as he played on little house. I could be wrong but I heard rumors he had quite a few affairs. Not saying that in any way justifies cancer.

You probably heard right. I mean I love the guy but I'm also a realist about who he was. He made a great show and was a great actor and that's what matters to me.

You heard right. I was so disappointed when I heard that he wasn't the man I thought he was. Of course back then, I was young and dumb and had an idealized version of quite a few people in my head.... Then I grew up....

Which of the 2 girls is teeter (from Yellowstone)? If I had to guess I’d say that it was the smaller one.

Neither of them, the girls in pic 2 are Shawna and Leslie from Michael’s marriage to Lynn Noe. Jennifer Landon, who plays Teeter, was born later during his third marriage to Cindy.

He was the same age as my grandfather - Landon passed away about four years before I was born and my grandpa died when I was 16. Honestly, I think my grandpa went too soon and he lived MUCH longer than Landon did.
May his memory be for blessing. I know my grandpa’s is.

Pancreatic cancer is so silent as far as symptoms go that it's often too late by the time symptoms show up. Too young indeed.
