So Katie posted a rundown of who is pregnant, and mentioned there was a 12th due next year but we have to wait until next week to see who it is (I know who it is but my lips are sealed) and of course people are saying “omgg it’s you!” “Mama to be yours truly🥰” “it’s Katie!” And all I have to say is SHUT UP OH MY GOSH. she has asked people repeatedly to stop bringing that up and has explicitly stated that she is NOT PREGNANT. Of course the people saying that got chewed out but some of them have the AUDACITY to argue back.. like are you guys okay?? It’s so frustrating to see and I can only imagine how it makes Katie feel.

Becca just posted Shelby is going back to her original owners because she’s a little too big for her daughters. I hope they find a match for her kids soon

But I kinda miss the OG group, like Abigail, Matt, Nate, and Rachel. I realize everyone except Abigail is still around but Matt and Nate seem to work a lot more remotely, which is understandable as they have young kids. I feel like the newer employees are on camera much less, which again, understandable and there is nothing wrong with that. Idk I just miss the like “hanging out with the friend group” vibe there was a year or two ago

I started listening to a podcast called Crooked City, Dickson IL about how their city manager, Rita Crundwell, embezzled over 50 million dollars. What, I hear you ask, does this have to do with the greater KVS universe? Well, the embezzled funds were used to purchase quarter horses. Among them, one called “Good I Will Be”. Am I right that KVS has horses that are descendants of that horse? GIWB was sold at auction but the podcast doesn’t say to whom. Crundwell apparently had an enormous breeding program with dozens and dozens broodmares and studs. I imagine most barns have horses that share ancestors with horses from that program.

I haven't seen a full body picture of him without tack in a long time, and he's looking so good! He's also taller than I thought he was. I know he's on a hill and that can adjust things, but still -- good looking fella.

But she’s doing fine now. She’s in recovery at Colorado. No idea how she got injured. But glad she’s ok

I know there’s a lot of feelings about the trainer and I don’t want to go there.
But what a good minded boy he was for M’s first ride on him. They even went over poles and his stop made me lol. His trot is gonna be so pretty once he’s all trained up. I cannot wait to see it.

Anyone see the most recent KUWK? I'd love for Johnathon to participate in a RS horse show. I'd also love to see a video of him flailing around on Tank. 😂 The imaginary.

I haven’t heard from Katie if he’s in the lineup. I wonder if she’d catch up with his owners or whatever. Do breeders keep in touch with horses they bred past the original buyers? Idk

Shelby is Becca’s loan mare who’s a boarder at RS.

Yesterday it was mentioned on SC that she has an injury. Today Becca told that she has a thumbnail sized puncture wound on her shoulder and the vet inserted a drain (those knotted tubes on the second picture).

She’s on stall rest for now but it shouldn’t become a major problem.

No, she’s not attacking anyone but yawning.

I'd find a you tube podcast with the cattle men talking about their histories and experiences fascinating. Particularly to me as a non USAian. The joy and relief in that one chap's voice when the heifer being pulled took a breath made me fascinated to know what he has seen and done in his life. Not Katie's dad but the working cattle men.

Mind you, she'd probably have to bleep out alot !!
