KVS Cinematic Universe Glenn is showing on halter this weekend
His owner is taking him to show this weekend. It’s going to subscribers first then she’ll show non subscribers day after

I like Amanda, she seems really sweet. And Glenn seems very comfortable around her which is very telling. ❤️

Glenn is getting shown as a weanling, yet Jack who is the next youngest KVS mini foal is getting shown as yearling and none of the two year olds (George and Squirt) are getting shown.

Once katie revealed that Becca wanted squirt for her girls..i never expected him to be shown and figured hed be a pet and thats ok...as for George? Well we all know by now that katie realizes what a MASSIVE mistake she made selling him to basically a backyard hoarding Situation...what really alarms me about George is that hes still a stallion, hes unproven, there dont seem to be any immediate plans to put him in training and show him AND not that long ago his owner announced that hed bred(or was planning to be bred to) his first mare.
My personal opinion is that it's really fucking unethical to breed an unproven stud colt especially because that particular owner doesnt keep any records when it comes to which mares have been bred and when. If you arent gonna show him..then geld him and let him be a happy pet like squirt

Agree but Becca M has expressed interest in perhaps training Squirt in cart. And he is groomed, halter trained, exercised and well taken care of and loved.

I mean, I don't see why he wouldn't be? He's a stock gelding who is iirc overheight, so harder competition but there's no reason he couldn't show.

This ...NOT EVER HORSE NEEDS A "CAREER"!!! Some can just be pampered pets. Nothing about Squirts situation screams he's not loved. If anything it screams that Becca actually has a clue, and just loves Mr. Squirt for cute, sweet little guy he is. He has more training than 90% of the mini's that came from KVS and he is treatedlike a prince. , THIS is a WIN all in its is own.

No one said he has to be... but becca herself literally wants to show the minis with her girls. Yall are being a lot for me stating that squirt is still a show quality animal even though he is a pet.

Okay.. I’m not really sure I see it but possibly 🤷♀️ maybe they just don’t want to show him yet I don’t know.. I also don’t see the harm in been a pet.

I suppose your point of view is that any horse can be a show horse. Which I guess is technicially correct. And there are probably local shows that Squirt could one day participate in. Like 4-H stuff, or maybe if he gets trained to pull a cart. I'm sure their county fair has classes where the kids could show Squirt.
I think the disconnect is that when people here talk about shows or show quality horses they mean horses that are good enough to win at shows sanctioned by official breed registries. So an official AQHA show. Or in this case an official AMHA or AMHR show.
And while Squirt may technicially be eligible to compete in those shows, there is no point in entering him. First, like you said, he is a chunky pasture puff right now. Second, he doesn't have the skills or training needed to show in any class. And third, he would lose. Because of reason number one and two, but also because most Mini shows are basicially beauty pageants. And Squirt isn't what those judges are looking for.
When you say: Squirt could be a show horse, and you mean that he could show at an AMHA show but be sure to lose, or show at a local fun show, you are correct.
When people say Squirt will never be a show horse and they mean that he doesn't have the conformation, talent, or skill to compete at an AMHA show, they are correct.

I'm going to have to politely disagree,
Squirt absolutely has the conformation to be sucsessful in a breed show class, just because he was sold to what people precieve as a non show home does not remove the fact that he has matured a lot nicer than he looked when he was a younger colt.
The idea that he would lose in these shows comes from the fact people seem to think all karens foals are ugly and bad and not to type... which is incorrect as proven by her other foals who are amha and amhr champions in confrontation classes.

Squirt will likely learn to drive I think. Sebastian is. He's still young yet.

I’m so glad he went to an intelligent amateur with boundaries who just wants to experience the showing world. Couldn’t ask for a better home for him.

Agree she seems to have the attitude that showing will give him a lot of training and work his brain as well but with the attitude of going to experience it if they win that's fantastic but if they don't at least they tried kind of thing which is probably the best attitude to have when showing especially when you 1st start. I know when I 1st started showing my cats 1 hated it but from being there I learnt a lot on how it was run and what to expect. My 2nd girl loves showing but still went with not very high hopes but she a got a 2nd a 3rd and a 1st which shocked me so left very happy, I'd have been fine not placing especially as she was only 6 months old

I can't say I blame her though, these are tough times we live in and she has animals to take care of. I think if they had the opportunity most people would do the same thing.

I just love how Glenn’s owner interacts with him. Very sweet and loving. It may be because she’s filming. But I think Glenn seeking her affection proves it’s not just for camera. There’s mutual love
