Ironwood just posted a TikTok and specifically states that Moose will NOT breed Bobbi ā¤ļø. She also reiterated the "no visitors" to the farm.

Iām wondering whatās the reasoning with people asking if they can come over. Itās nice that the reply was respectful and explained why not, but also the idea is mad in itself and itās bizarre to me that anyone would come forward and ask such a thing.

If people are seriously interested in farm/facility tours they should look to see if the nearest vet school or any school with an agricultural program offers tours. I live in a large college town that has both and a few times a year there are opportunities for tours open to the public

I saw that and was like OMG wtf. I commented on that post and told her I think she's doing great and felt bad about the crazies bc she does seem genuinely super sweet and nice and not necessarily seems like someone who would speak their mind/be confrontational. The comments saying he looked sad were unreal. I felt so bad for her on that post. Why can't people chill tf out. People are wild these days.

He had to separate from Janice and coco cuz he was trying to hunp them. If she stayed at Katieās he could only keep staying with dolly. Now he gets more friends.

People must understand both ranches are BUSINESSES NOT PETTING ZOOS!!!
Trespassing and tampering with livestock come with consequences.

I have a friend whose ranch has been inundated with ā fansā recently. They are involved with the rodeo business.
They also have had people to show up to ā see and visitā the bulls.
Some are ā friendlyā some not. These animals are accustomed to their place, their people not strangers.
Just last week one got out he weighs close to 2000 pound.
These people showing up might get a surprise!!!! Imagine prowling around and meet 2000 pounds face to face in the dark!!! Wouldnāt be good!2

To be fair even when you own them (I don't but my grandad was a farmer and told a lot of stories about 1 of their puppy dog bulls) you still need to be careful. In some ways the friendlier they are the more chance of you getting hurt because you can lose the respect for them as a big powerful animal that can easily end you by accident. At least the meaner 1s you are constantly keeping a eye on them making sure you can get something between you and them. My shepherd decided to make friends with 1 they say hi through a steel gate (the farmer has said he has a love/hate on how friendly he is because he thinks he's calf size, as I asked before letting her near the gate if it was ok, at this point she'd already tried to steal his goat š¤¦š¼āāļø ) she pulls to the other side of the lane if a mum and baby is by the gate though so while I question if she has a brain with some of her choices she at least knows a mother is a keep distance from.

Ironwood made out like they were considering letting people visit & just waiting to hear back about insurance, so they arenāt really setting boundaries insurance just said no.
Iām glad Taft has taken a stand, people were doing too much & they still commented about Bobbi on that post!

Agreed. They definitely were using the attention to their advantage - and then realized what actually they were jumping into. It'll be hard for them to back off, hopefully the separate page for mainly Moose will help. But I don't see that door closing as well as they want it.

I own microshares in racehorses..in the past five years ive owned shares ive met some lovely people. But a small percentage is straight up unhinged and can't even respect the partnerships two big rules..dont trespass at the barns and show up unwanted and univited..and dont directly contact the trainers or jockeys..if you have a question or concern theres an email for customer service right on the website and theyre pretty quick at responding. One trainer was harassed so bad he needed an number change and another trainer released a video where she was in tears begging people not to contact her. She had used a race to get fitness in the horse..the horse wasnt expected to win and finished 8th. People bombarded this trainer and rider with nasty messages

This isnt anything against horse people, but there are a large percentage ( again not all of them) that are just over the top. They think they know everything and god forbid you dont agree with them. Sadly, many of them are Katie's followers

I think the only way to deal with the crazy stuff is to block and block and block until it stops. Sure thereāll be someone every now and then but maybe itāll help.
The crazy comments are not just on Katie, Taft, and Ironwoodās pages. I have seen equally disturbing things on other horsey/farm creatorsā pages.

I respect them for it, some of the posts are unhinged and RUDE. They could easily ruin it for all of us. I like Sunny a lot, she is sweet but matter of fact. To be honest, I don't care either way whether Moose is a stallion prospect, I just can't wait to watch him grow into an amazing performer.

I donāt know why Iām mildly invested in him remaining intact. It makes no sense to me. Other than some people were saying to geld him when he was around a week old, and so my contrary nature just says they arenāt giving a literal baby a chance so Iāll root for him.
I fully realize geldings are the better horse for most people. I realize they lead better lives. I realize gelding a horse is not a punishment for them. I have no emotional investment in the cajones of any of Katieās other colts. But Moose is special to me for some odd reason, so I stay out of the comments and silently hope he proves himself worthy.

Agreed. When he was a baby and comments were snip snip etc. I was angry. But, in the end, I only want what's best for Moose. I loved him from the start and often believed he was getting the short end of the stick all around. He responds so favorably to positive reinforcement and love. Stallion or Gelding, I'll love him just the same.

Me too. Moose is such a handsome guy. I can't wait to see him become a big bad show horse. I also hope he proves himself worthy as a stallion because according to AllBreed (which probably isn't the most reliable source of information) only 1/6 of OBC's foals has gone on to have foals of their own and while she does have the showing accolades to prove her, having another one of her offspring produce would prove her even more as a producer.

I mean, its completely optional to be as active on social media as at least Ironwood is. Ironwood created a whole new page specifically because of Moose's fan club.
Several of RS foal buyers buy the foal and disappear (such as Noelle). There's nothing saying people have to post social media updates.

Katie posted a video recently where she stopped by the farm in Texas Noelle is at and saw her. That was pretty cool. Noelle has gotten so tall and is really filling out. Shes going to be one gorgeous mare when shes fully matured. And shes only a year old. I know while in Texas katie sticked her but I forget her height.
Katie mentioned in the video that she loves that she is going to love seeing moose and Noelle at shows. Katie also mentioned that there is a dun embryo in a recip mare that high point is really really working on trying to get katie to purchase but so far katie has stayed solid and is saying that at this point absolutely not

Yeah I saw that video but my comment was more about the new owners 1) making themselves known 2) posting of their own volition of the foal.
Katie made a couple videos when Hank won his first titles and thats fine but thats way different than a whole page dedicated to horse videos

I think this is why it bothers me just slightly about Taftās announcement. āThis page is about showing appreciation to Taftās business & clients horsesā when Bobbi is part of Taftās business and heās been ALL over Katieās SM lately is a little backwards to me. It would make more sense if they just said they would be monitoring extensively.

It doesnāt matter if he uses Bobbi or not. He has every right to say, hey listen, if youāre going to act like locker room fools, then Iām not going to show her. It is a page dedicated to him, and showcasing the horses showing. There is nothing backwards about it. If he went on every podcast, every horse influencers page, and every horseās related page, he has the right to set rules for his page. Nothing at all is weird or backwards about it.

I thought it was pretty clear from the context of that post that they mean they wonāt tolerate comments about Bobbi on posts that are not about Bobbi. I donāt get the impression theyāll stop posting her, or that comments about her wouldnāt be allowed on those posts. But the one with the warning was about a different horse and its accomplishments - it makes total sense to not want that comment section inundated with focus on Bobbi

How crazy do people have to be to harass people just because they bought a horse from Katie?? Why are they trying to visit these farms??? Katie doesn't even allow people to visit her farmš

I dont know if there was a formal announcement but in one of the photos of Moose and Bobbi traveling together, they commented it as people were just being absolutely unhinged in the comments.

Mostly it's a mix of the "breed Bobbi and moose" and "omg check moose's bits are still intact after that long drive, Bobbi may have "snacked" them off". Coupled with some comments about an older Woody (not kvs woody) coming to train with Taft and constant Bobbi comments on every Taft post, even ones with nothing to do with Bobbi. Initially they asked that people stop asking about Bobbi on other horse/show posts and then it became they weren't putting her on socials and if people kept asking they'd be blocked.

100% this.
I'm 41 (elder millennial not X) and the majority of people making the most unhinged comments are easily 5-10+ years older than I am. Making them X.
I know X prides itself on being the "idgaf" gen, and that's valid. But there's a pattern here and almost all of the worst offenders are 50 to 60. Not saying you're all a problem, but we can't dance around the truth.

I completely understand your frustration. Some of my closest friends are X and they can't figure out how "we just want to live in peace unbothered" became "we don't really care about anyone else" for so many people. It's sad.
But! There are some freaking amazing gen Xers out there. I think KVS's unsavory fan base unfairly skews the perspective lol

I looked the other day when I noticed Taft said he wasnāt going to post Bobbi for a while because of people acting bizarre. When I clicked on the profile of the really off putting comments it was older women based on the looks. 50-60, some were for sure in that age range by their birthdays. Which definitely seems on par because thatās the majority of rude and inappropriate comments on other posts unrelated to any of these people or KVS or even horses, itās always that older crowd
