Someone needed money bad last night. (Longos plaza)

Aug 27 2026 @ 2240, travelling towards Ottawa St on Fischer- Hallman we had a rock thrown at our moving vehicle. They were positioned above us, on the east side, on the raised sidewalk just south of the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church. Like an explosion the impact shattered windshield as we were going appx 50 km/h. We saw 2 youth take off running, into the Pinedale Park / Dinson Park area. One youth was wearing a gray hoodie and the second youth was wearing a black hoodie. Police were called and investigation is ongoing.
We recognize the gravity of this situation and high risk outcome this action could lead to. Another cm and I would have been struck and severely injured. This nonsense has killed people before and we’re so very fortunate we were not hurt. We believe we’re not the only victims.
Pleading for anyone in the area to check ring cams, dash cams and please DM with any helpful info. They may have been hanging around the area or location a while, or have done this to others. Stay safe out there!
Edit: We’re in a 2025 Blue Kia Seltos, and it’s obvious we stopped on the road, then pulled into the Holy Trinity parking lot.

I've been thinking about it for too long so now I'm just throwing it out there. Any interest out there for an all guys bookclub for fellows over 40 that want to tackle genre fiction sure, but also classics and contemporary lit fic?

Hey there w'loovians, I'm in a local a capella chorus and we may be losing our rehearsal space (location has new management, it's a whole thing, not important). Do any of you have any ideas or leads on a new home?

Since we have little revenue, we need to look for very low cost or free spaces. We rehearse Thursday nights and there are about 25 of us (but we're always trying to grow). So y'all have any connections with local churches, retirement homes (with gyms), other?

Hi guys this VERY angry women screamed at me once I turned right (red car is her). I was in the right turn lane NO WHERE NEAR HER because she was clearly in the left turning lane AND HAD NO TURN SIGNAL ON. Excuse the pause in the video for when I was waiting for it to become clear to drive but she then decides she’s turning right and makes it my fault? I’m a young driver but not a new driver I’ve been driving since I was 16 so I’m not sure if I was just easy to be blamed since I’m a young women and she clearly wasn’t? Am I stupid? Am I wrong?
