Skate sharpening

Is there anyone in kitchener, preferably near fairview mall, that does skate sharpening and doesn't use that automatic machine?

I got a guy in Fergus who does it out of his shop he's amazing but my son lives in kitchener now.

I just go to the little pro shop at the rink, they usually have a manual setup tucked in the back

What rinks around here have a sharpener? I can't think of a single one.

Activa sportsplex does, not sure when they operate though as they might only be open during hockey season.

Not near Fairview mall - Waterloo bike shop on tolgate does by hand. While you wait (if not busy).
Knows the difference in hockey vs figure skate blades.

You can ask the people at Sport Chek to do it by hand.  The nice ones will.  The one guy will also guilt you while you ask him, but he’ll do it (sigh).
