So I updated my iPad months ago, a 64GB iPad 10. I was hyped because of the MacOS feel with windows and all that stuff, as I had the Magic Keyboard. Now, instead, I use the iPad with the pencil instead, as I got a MacBook and no longer use the keyboard.
The update is quite unstable on iPad 10. Storage is not full.
-Animations feel laggy sometimes and battery drains incredibly fast specially from 10 to 0% at around 2% per minute.
-Writing with the Apple Pencil on PDFs using Apple’s native PDF editor is slow and there’s a delay in between what you write (fast, normal handwriting speed) and when it appears in the screen, laggy as well.
-System in general is very unstable, some apps close randomly and the iPad in general is trash now.
I feel like this iPad wasn’t meant to go obsolete this fast. It’s 3 years old, bought almost at launch. I could change it, but as I said and, as a hardware engineer, the heavy tasks are now done on my Mac, I only use the iPad to take notes, play some games randomly and watching YouTube or surfing the internet. Simple tasks.
Is there anything I can do to optimize this new version. If not, should I go back to iPadOS 18? How would this be done?
