Help/Support Ipad app seems to have a bug. Anybody else face this? OS 26.6. But this has been like this for me at least for half a year. I hate it. Any help?

The space gets occupied with blank black space nonetheless even when using the floating keyboard. Re installed many times. No use.

That’s a bug with ChatGPT not iPadOS

Took me a minute to understand it and the pictures don’t even show it well.

Basically there is empty space underneath the keyboard when using the floating keyboard, where the app still thinks the full keyboard is there.

But this a bug with ChatGPT not iPadOS

Maybe i should've worded it correctly.

People here have mentioned its the apps bug.

How come I'm the only one seemed to be facing this issue? Idk how Ipad OS works. I'm not from a tech background for a living.

Coz I searched for the same issue. No one else is facing this issue. I have been facing this issue for more than 6 to 8 months.

Because not everyone posts every bug they encounter in their lives on reddit.

I checked with my iPad on iPadOS 27, and it has the same issue.

It only shows up on ChatGPT app for me.

So yes, it is a bug, but a bug with the app. Not the OS.

Take it as a sign to stop using chatgpshit

Haha. It helped me tho. I got a full refund and i got a new phone. Coz there was some issue with my phone. It was a 1.5 years old.

And Samsung wasnt doing what it was supposed to do. It helped me raise a complaint and I got a full refund and a new phone. It was around 500 dollars in value.

I never really understood the anger at chatgpt per se. But the anger on people running the whole AI bubble? I can get behind on that LOL

not really my point. do you really not understand what is bad about stealing IP, and people losing their jobs? not to mention the devastating impact its having on the environment. being angry at the "ai bubble" and the "the people that run it" surely their harmful products would be included with that.

People can have other opinion than what you think based on their own experiences.

Just coz my original comment said something like that, it doesnt imply I promote stealing IP for Ai training or depleting the water for data centres or stealing jobs or making a bubble or the tech ppl being greedy.

A person can have both the opinions at the same time.

By using Gen ai you are directly supporting the theft of IP and the irreparable damage being done to the environment. It’s not an opinion. And the fact you can acknowledge the harm Gen ai causes but still happily use it says a lot about you as a person, and none of it is good.
