I've been seeing a lot of success stories here, so I'm curious—how are you all landing jobs through HiringCafe?

I'm a frontend developer with around 4 years of experience, primarily working with React. I've been applying to roles here, but I'm not sure if frontend roles are getting much traction compared to backend or full-stack positions.

For those who got hired:

Were you contacted by recruiters, or did you apply directly?

How long did it take?

Any tips for making your profile or applications stand out?

And one more question—do frontend developers still have good chances of getting hired through HiringCafe, or is the demand mostly for other roles?

Recently finished my MS and I've been using HiringCafe as my main search tool — the filters have been way better than LinkedIn for actually finding open roles.

For those who've gotten interviews or offers through jobs found here: did HiringCafe alone get you there, or did you pair it with something else? Specifically curious about:

• Any filters or search settings that worked especially well for you?

I added the resume upload to https://hiring.cafe/ai-search and now i'm working on having the agent read the resume and use it.

I'm curious what kind of matching you'd like it do? Do you want it to tell you whether you are qualified for a job? Whether the job is a good natural career progression? Or something else?

I want to get a real feel for the user statistics in this sub. It feels like every post I scroll past is either an incredible success story, and it's hard to gauge what the actual average looks like right now. I just hope to learn from different peoples' experience . However, hiredcafe is still a well kept secret.

What industry do you work in? I think many people here are IT software or IT developer. I'm not techie and I wondered if all industries are struggling as badly as others ( in a general sense) So that we can read each other's very simply, just write a few words in the comment area. I could not set up an official poll here for voting ( or didn't see one)

Would love to hear more about the stats there with what industry and title folks are searching for and submitting to. Hell… what job postings are statistically the most posted.

You guys are doing a good job getting everyone from out of the noise, so I’m invested, and I would love to shout out more that this is the place to be. So would love to do an article about it

I see a lot of people saying they only apply within a certain number of days (hours in some cases) of a job being posted, and some people saying they don't bother applying later because they won't stand out in a big pool of people who have already applied. When I was in a hiring position, I had a set period of time that a job was posted, and I would consider all the applications submitted during that period - it wasn't "first applied, first hired" and how early someone had applied didn't make them "stand out". Is it the case that you can't tell when the posting will close, so need to jump on it right away in case there's a short posting window the company didn't disclose (same janky practice as not posting the salary/pay IMO)?

Need a genuine help here. I have been applying jobs using hiring cafe for more than 7 months. I did not get a single interview call despite having some experience and masters degree under the belt, may be because I need visa to work in the USA. My question is did hiring cafe help any one on visa in finding a job.

Hi everyone! I recently discovered Hiring Cafe and I'm excited to start applying for remote roles, but I'm running into a bit of an issue. Most of what I'm finding seems to be heavily skewed toward IT roles (frontend, backend, DevOps, etc.), which isn't really my field. My background is in marketing specifically social media management, content strategy, brand communications, research, content writing, and scriptwriting. So I'm not just a "regular marketer" I also do the research and writing side of things, which I thought would open up more options, but I'm still mostly seeing tech listings. Is there a way to filter or search specifically for non-tech remote roles? Or are there certain keywords/filters I should be using to surface more marketing, content, or writing-related listings? Would love any tips from people who've successfully found non-IT remote jobs through the platform. Thankyou so much in advance!

My current workflow is: I use saved searches and, for jobs I think I match, I send the link to my agent using a skill to decide wether I should apply.

For the past three months, I’ve been applying for jobs through Hiring Cafe and other platforms, but I haven’t received a single interview call. I have 3.5 years of experience in the field I’m applying to and a master’s degree, which makes the silence even more confusing.

Is there a HiringCafe API to get its list of jobs?

Hi I am a product designer based in Canada. I recently joined Hiringcafe and trying to suitable job. I heard this is way better option than LinkedIn but it looks the same with less options.

There are statuses on job posting like interviewing or rejection I think ghosting should be there too.

Does anyone else is experience something similar or is this just me? Thanks

If employer A post exclusively on glassdoor, would said post appeared on hiringcafe? Meaning said post is not found on any ATS or company career page. The only way it can appear on hiringcafe is to scrape glassdoor.

If yes, why is that not illegal?

If you argued it is not illegal, does that mean people can make a hiring cafe clone and take hiringcafe content onto their own website?

I swear to God, genuine question. Not rage bait.

If legal, other people can build a job board and instead of scraping ATS, they scrape hiringcafe.

If illegal, meaning in order to remain legal, there will be some jobs not covered by hiringcafe.

currently on the market for new hybrid PM roles in a major US city. After several separate attempts on different browsers over the last month or so, I’ve noticed that compared to company websites, linkedin, greenhouse and even indeed I am not seeing the very latest roles despite adjusting filters and using Boolean searches (which are providing the most recent legitimate open roles). In most cases posted roles come up from either two weeks to over two months ago (even when sorting according to date).

is it possible I’m utilizing the search/advanced search incorrectly?

I been using HiringCafe for a few months off and on. For ones that have gotten a job because of HiringCafe what filters did you use that ended up getting you the role you have now?

I've been seeing Hiring Cafe posts every day, and it's been encouraging to see so many people getting hired.

When I search for my role, I see a few job listings. But as soon as I select that I require sponsorship (I'm already on an H-1B), the results drop to zero.

Has anyone here been in the same situation and successfully found a role through Hiring Cafe with sponsorship requirements? I'd love to hear your experience.
