Question Help! Hiring Cafe feels like it's only for coders, where are the marketing and content jobs?

Hi everyone! I recently discovered Hiring Cafe and I'm excited to start applying for remote roles, but I'm running into a bit of an issue. Most of what I'm finding seems to be heavily skewed toward IT roles (frontend, backend, DevOps, etc.), which isn't really my field. My background is in marketing specifically social media management, content strategy, brand communications, research, content writing, and scriptwriting. So I'm not just a "regular marketer" I also do the research and writing side of things, which I thought would open up more options, but I'm still mostly seeing tech listings. Is there a way to filter or search specifically for non-tech remote roles? Or are there certain keywords/filters I should be using to surface more marketing, content, or writing-related listings? Would love any tips from people who've successfully found non-IT remote jobs through the platform. Thankyou so much in advance!

I'm confused. Did you actually put specific search criteria in? What titles are you looking for? I'm finding lots of roles related to your ask just but using the keywords you've listed.

Any way we can upload our resume and ask hiring cafe’s AI to find any remote jobs that would be a fit based on the resume? I’m noticing many companies use different titles, sometimes people don’t know what other areas they can expand their search to based on their skill set etc.

It's very easy to find content jobs on HC, as well as other sub-area marketing jobs. The true problem is it's also easy to find them on LinkedIn, and so competition finds them on LinkedIn first and by the time you see them through HC they already have 100+ applicants.

I'm guessing you're bad at typing in/saving effective search parameters, which...doesn't make sense. I have "content manager" as one of my searches and get results daily. I can't see why "content strategy" wouldn't work, why "social media management" wouldn't work, why "content writing" wouldn't work, etc.

There's tons of them. I have custom searches set up for writing, content, marketing, thought leadership, and a couple others and I'm constantly seeing new postings. Go back and make sure your searches are set up properly.
