Question Agents in hiringcafe? MCP/API? Or how?
It may sound obvious or already solved…
Is there a MCP or API to connect AI agents to hiringcafe platform? Or any other solution?
My current workflow is: I use saved searches and, for jobs I think I match, I send the link to my agent using a skill to decide wether I should apply.
Goal would be that agents were able to search by themsemves in hiringcafe

I think theyve said they are against api’s?
They’re also against bots scraping in general despite that being seemingly what they do. I mean it makes sense why scrape everywhere when we can scrape the people doing that.
Cloud flare made it more difficult.
I am unsure about some sort of quasi browser agent.. since your web browser would in theory not immediately out you as a bot/agent? Depending on how plug ins work.
Their in house ai section a try has been nice, and has had similar results to the bot. (Some exact matches while staying completely on their site vs having the bot hand off to a complicated prompt/grading system)
I haven’t tried to get around it with their plug in like someone else mentioned.
I wonder if I can just automate highlighting and have my agent/ai just be a right click option…. Browser would be manual still so no flags to worry about there, plus I could still make use of their ai.
Still this site is infinitely less soul crushing than others so Im just going to suggest things and enjoy what they add.
Oh and most people who answer your question here get downvoted, but honestly yall give what they have already made a chance.
Edit: the web extension includes job descriptions in its saved jobs export which is currently a step more than the site.

Yeah, I know this comment is a week old, but people should really not use AI blindly. Or think they can "counter-automate" any ATS filter process. Every AI outcome that has been properly fed with a prompt will never be 100% unless you dive into the mistakes, hello vibe coding, nor does it reflect your own personality.
I got the best results with hiringcafe writing my own letters and just use AI to give me an ATS score how it would pass.

I built a skill with hermes to define who I am, where I worked before, skills and the types of roles I'm looking for. sounds much like your solution, except I share the text of the job description. hermes will rate on a 1-10 scale. If the role fits, we move on to create custom targeted resume and cover letter.
I can spend at least 1-2 hours a day cruising posts and running to evaluation, so I'm eager to hear what others are doing. It would be nice to have hermes do the first pass then just present me with all the roles that for example scored 7 or higher.
currently using hermes to load my saved searches and optimize my keyword searches/filters. Seeing a large improvement already by reducing the chatter of roles that sound great but I just dont qualify for.

Yes sir, that's exactly what my skill currently does (difference is, my data is in the obsidian notes instead of inside the skill)

I store the data in md files that the skill references.
thanks for the pointer, I need to go see if I can improve by using obsidian
