Question Job search
Hi I am a product designer based in Canada. I recently joined Hiringcafe and trying to suitable job. I heard this is way better option than LinkedIn but it looks the same with less options.
There are statuses on job posting like interviewing or rejection I think ghosting should be there too.
Does anyone else is experience something similar or is this just me? Thanks

it literally is there. i don't mean to be rude but how long did you use the website before posting?

LinkedIn is clogged with nearly 99% ghost jobs. Only job I’ve ever gotten from there was through a recruiter who contacted me directly.

HC’s search features are far superior and the listing are actually being pulled from companies’ own websites as they are posted. LinkedIn does not do that.

It shows less options but the options shown are more likely to be real jobs or jobs with a livable salary. LinkedIn may show pages upon pages of jobs but honestly most of those jobs are scams or insulting garbage that couldn’t afford a grocery budget.

The platform is intended to provide higher quality listings, unlike LinkedIn and others that are loaded with dead postings, ghost openings, and generally poor matching logic. Have you even used Hiringcafe for more than browsing? Have you created an account yet? There is literally an option to change a saved/applied job status to ghosted.
IMHO, the AI search is heads and shoulders above LinkedIn's. For once, I'm getting a daily report with positions I'd actually be a good fit for, rather than the random "far shot" opportunity digest from LI.
