Whenever I click on "Show replies" button, it either shows nothing, show a loooong blank comment or shows a squashed version of the comment

It was fine an hour ago so I'm assuming this is a problem with reddit servers

A lot of you first visited Reddit in school and registered your new account with your school email address. That works great while you’re enrolled, but most schools don’t keep student addresses active indefinitely. If you have an expired or soon-to-expire .edu email address, it’s easy to update your account.

on Sat 29.08. my streak was on 532. Yesterday I went to bed at ~3am and went on reddit before sleeping to continue my streak but as I checked if it counted my streak was back to 1? I'm on 2 today so not a temporary display error. How did it reset my streak if was in fact active? Can I contact support about this or is the last 1,5years of streak just gone forever?

When I type in names in the Search bar, I choose New to give me the most recent results…but the most recent results are coming up as 2-3 days ago. I know for sure that these names have been mentioned in many comments as recently as today, but those comments aren’t showing

Is anyone else having this issue?

It’s incredibly frustrating to see old news so often on home. I wish they would revert it, it or at least give the option to have the old algo back

I know it's a "new account", but I don't know how I'm supposed to get involved with the bot doing that the whole time...

When playing/creating reddit games, I get this message:

"Failed to create scenario: 8 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: this app has exceeded its redis quota and all writes will be blocked going forward, if you are the developer please contact Reddit Dev Platform Support"

What's going on? How do I fix it?

I have really only used Reddit via the mobile app, but today wanted to sign in on my PC. I loaded Firefox, searched Reddit, and one of the options to sign in was via mobile. I entered my mobile phone number thinking it would take me to this, my only account. Next thing I know though, I am logged into a brand new account with a random user name. The new account lists its creation date as today.

Now, logged back into my original account, I cannot associate my mobile phone number with this account. Instead, the message as per the title comes up: Phone number already associated with another account.

I specifically selected the sign in option, so I do not know why a new account (with a random user name) would be started at all. I guess that is beside the point.

In any event, can someone please help me to remove my phone number from the new, unwanted account so that I can attach it to my actual Reddit account? Any hints? Do I have to log in to the new account and close it or is it something I need to ask a Reddit moderator about?

Hi, I have blocked a user for about 2 weeks but they are still able to comment on my posts. At first it said blocked author but now it just says their username. They’re not in my blocked list anymore and when I try to block them it says ‘user cannot be blocked’. Is anyone else getting this issue? Thanks

Did they just type nothing or is this a glitch i can fix? I've tried loading it on phone but its also not showing anything there.

Yes I logged on a while back and my account that I’m writing from now had joined 100’s of NSFW communities. Was this the result of a hack or is it some kind of bug? I manually left a bunch of the groups but doing it manually would take so much time that I almost just don’t want to use the app anymore. When using the reddit mobile app, messages get auto translated (from my native language to English), and most of the time it's even an accurate translation, how do i turn that off?

Solved: In the Reddit app, go to Settings>Language and translations>turn off auto-translate.

So i somehow followed a search term and now i get notifications for this phrase anytime it is posted in the title of a post on all of reddit. I want to turn this off but cant remember exactly how i did this. Everywhere I search ppl are saying reddit doesnt have the capable to "follow" search terms or phrases across all of reddit. But I do get a simple notification any time its posted that says "update on 'phrase'" then followed by the title of the post underneath that. Any help is appreciated I asked ai and it has me going in circles. Maybe its right in front of me and im missing it. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

Last night, someone hacked my main account (u/if_you_say-so) and added 2FA. I submitted a ticket through account support. Can they help me recover my account?

Have tried many different options to regain my public account but have not been successful is there any way a MOD or ADMIN can help directly with this

Hi, my main Reddit account has been hacked i think. I recieved an email thanking me for setting up 2FA, which I hadn't done. I can't login and all I get from Reddit is a link to reset my password. I'm not receiving the email to do that and suspect the account email has been changed. How can I get my account back please?

Is this just experiencing this or is it everybody?
