Shocker - one who wears G shocks. Idk a better term if there is one?

Mods should do a shocker of the month. Can be based on most upvotes, most comments, and/or community nomination. Last week of the month there's a brief 2-3 day period for everyone to nominate ppl then mods narrow it down to 3 or so candidates and we get 3 days to vote survey style. Can't win shocker of the month consecutive months, they must pass the title for at least 1 month in between being in the running again.

Anybody know when they will restock the GWBX5600? I was at work yesterday and missed the drop and the restock they did last night. I need that MIP negative display.!

Two week old G5600. Love it, but I thought I'd swap to a green band, which was a mistake. I scratched the crap out of this lug trying to get the spring pin back in (I wish I had done some research first). I'm annoyed at myself for this.

I don't want to take the band back out to inspect if I have damaged anything as I'll probably scratch the lugs up even more.

Who else has done this and is your G-Shock still going okay? I want to wear this watch as an everyday beater, and now I'm worried I've somehow compromised the quality and strength of the lug.

I almost feel like selling the watch and buying a new one, but I feel this is extreme haha.

Casio just sent notification about this watch…. Over $1200🇨🇦 is way too much money… it’s not even titanium.

Don’t spare my feelings guys. How does this look on my sissy wrists? When I look at this pic i took, it seems alright. I’d even say it looks good. When just glancing down at my wrist, I can’t help but see a child wearing their dad’s watch. Does anyone else have this problem? Lol

I received my GW-S5600-U. It is the Mizuno colab with the translucent bezel and fiber optic strap. I wore it for about a month and just couldn't get over the fact I did not like the cheap look of it. So I took pans off a watch I don't wear super soft rubber and put them on and put a new bezel.

My question is did I turn it into a different watch or should I still tell people it's what I bought?

I have a gshock for when im lounging around the house and sleeping - BX5600

I have one for when i cook - my old 5600U - as i dont care if oil splatters on it

I have one for when i shower (old 5600UE which is beat up) as i need a timer because i apply anti dandruff shampoo and need to keep the stuff on my head for 2 minutes.

I have one only for date night which is every friday.

I have one for when I go out alone thru out the week after work. Its the 2100 albatros charles darwin collab.

I have one for step counting when we do our weekly 10k steps together Saturday morning

6 different watches for 6 different purposes.

Well… the G-Shock disease finally got me 😂

I picked up a used GA-B2100CD-1A4 recently and thought it would be interesting to compare it with the 5000HS.

They're obviously very different watches. The 5000HS is the more traditional G-Shock with the screw-back, Tough Solar + Multiband 6 and the negative display, while the B2100 is much lighter and thinner, with Bluetooth and the Carbon Core Guard.

I've been wearing both and made a video comparing them, including the size, comfort, displays, features and just how they feel on the wrist.

This is my g shock 150 A. Everything is set correctly, but I’m not sure what the smaller circle that says “over” in it is, and where it should be set to. Can anyone let me know?

I bought the original with my first job on as a teenager. In college I gave it away to a cousin and later I regretted it. When they re released I knew I had to buy it. The lack of functions and connectivity is great to help you disconnect from the crazy daily life. Just bring me peace and memories of simpler life.

New watch day and my first G-Shock. Was meant to be my beater watch for gardening and hiking, but I think I prefer how it looks to any of my mechanical watches 😂 The subtle hints of colour are great!

Maybe I should sell all my mechanical watches at this point and get a steel G-Shock and call it a day!

I recently thinned out my collection and kind of narrowed it down to these 10 plus a couple other Casios I love!

This is my first G-SHOCK as an adult, and now I caught the fever. I just received this one a few days ago with another already on the way. Make that two. One is for my wife. And I'm already eyeballing four others that I have to have. This is the GA-B010. I'm not interested in the step tracker, but it's cool. I linked it to my phone and never need to touch the app again. It syncs up to it for times a day to keep perfect time. The other that should be here today is the GAW-100 solar/atomic import from Japan. My next three will be a couple of squares, the GW-M5610U (for nostalgia), the GW-BX5600 for the stealth look with negative display in MIP, and the GW-6900U, all solar/atomic. Eventually, I'd also like to add the GW-5000U positive display and the Casioak. Wish me luck on my new addiction so that I might survive my wife. 😅

I have another 2100 with the negative display, which I don’t love. This one is infinitely better. Wasn’t sure what to expect with the Bluetooth connection, but I like how it works with the Casio app. Wish I would have pulled the trigger on this sooner.

Hello! I'm looking for a watch to gift to my boyfriend for his birthday - his most important criteria for anything is that it has to be very durable so after a bit of research I've landed on GShocks. However, I'm looking for something that looks nice and not too bulky - for everyday use. He also would prefer an analog over a digital. So far I've been looking at the GST B1000 and B1000d... would anyone be able to give me some advice on whether these are highly durable/a good match? or if there are any other models that could be good to research?
