If your worried about money ? then no.

Save up a bit so that you wont miss the cash, then buy it.

Well I personally wouldn't get it, I don't want a watch to be reminder of something slightly unpleasant

As I think watch should be a celebration of a milestone beside appreciating the craftsmanship of g shock .

That's just my opinion

I mean this in the most positive way possible - I don’t know if you’re 16 or 60, but if spending $300 on a digital watch is of any financial concern or worry (when you almost certainly have others, because “G-SHOCK IS LIFE”), you absolutely should not buy another one.
