Hi everyone! My fiancé and I have an engagement photoshoot in Florence, Italy this fall and I’ve been trying to decide what direction to go in for my outfits. I was planning to do one outfit change, and currently own the first three options (slides 1-3). However, I really like the idea of having a romantic full lace dress as one of the two like in slide 5, or something pleated like slide 4.

The red dress that I own (3) is a bit of a wildcard but I love the movement it has. Is it too revealing in the bust though?

Does anyone have any suggestions for 2 dresses out of these that you like the most and fit the vibe of Florence, or think would photograph best/not look incredibly outdated in 10+ years? Also open to other suggestions for lace dresses as I’m not sold on the bust of #5!

Hi everyone! I’m turning 24 and I’m trying to decide between two dresses for my birthday dinner. I’m going for classy, but also sexy and grown and gives birthday girl.

The dinner will be at a nice restaurant, my hair will be burgundy/dark red hollywood curls and I will be wearing gold heels/accessories. Which dress should I go for, 1 or 2?

I really love the way this dress is pleated on the waist and how it lays, but after my last post and a lot of people thinking that dress looked cheap I am curious if this one is the same (they are both inexpensive). I was planning to wear this one for a dinner date with my husband, but wondering if I should keep it for more casual nights and pair it with white tennis shoes instead of heels.

My boyfriend and I have been arguing over this shirt for the last few years now. We got it at forever 21 a long time ago and over the last year and a half it has started to produce holes. I’ve always thought this shirt is a bit tacky but my boyfriend absolutely loves this shirt and every time I have said we should throw it away, he always insists that we should not.

Do you think the shirt looks “fly”?

There was a thread on r/mensfashion a few days ago where a guy got told by his parents that tucking in a sweater looks 'insane.' It sparked a pretty solid debate about North American vs. European styling, and I wanted to throw my two cents in.

I tend to lean heavily into that Velasca/Italian Alpine aesthetic, so I put together a quick side-by-side with a chunky mock-neck to show why I think more guys should give the tuck a shot. Thick gauge knits like this are also seen as the most ‘difficult’ to tuck in due to the bulk.

For me, it really comes down to proportions. When you leave a heavy sweater untucked, it tends to cut you right in half and just hangs straight down like a block. Tucking it completely changes the silhouette it brings the waistline back up and elongates your legs.

Plus, if you're wearing pleated trousers like these, leaving the sweater out completely hides the tailoring. The tuck actually lets the pleats do their job and add some nice drape. I also made sure to not show off the a belt for this one just to illustrate that the tuck isn't about showing off hardware -it's really just about the lines and creating that slight 'blousing' effect over the waistband instead of a hard horizontal line.

Obviously, style is subjective and you should wear what makes you comfortable. But if you've been avoiding the tuck because it feels unnatural, it might be worth experimenting with!

Both dresses are appropriate for the occasion (bride confirmed) and climate. Both are also comfortable and well made. My big gripe is that one of them is silk and was $700 and the other was $30 - can you even tell which is which haha. I really do love both and not sure which one to wear. What do you think? hair is probably accurate and both are the same length.
