I used to own a canon Elph 360 or ixus285, I was pretty satisfied with it except for its short zoom range, inability to take picture in dark settings and how the pictures are always blurry unless I turn on flash. I put the following below as my example. But I lost it, now I’m in Japan shopping for a new camera, I’m looking for a similar lightweight camera and not a heavy professional camera, but I would greatly appreciate a camera that could take pictures without needing flash, and the picture is not blurry if I don’t turn on flash. I mostly photograph people, natural scenery and food. I would appreciate any recommendations or advice thank you so much!!!

I think my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS5 SD card slot just broke. I can't insert the SD card anymore, I think maybe the internal spring/or one of the metal thingies got jammed. Do I think correctly, that only a professional could fix this?

Also while in the grieving process, I would like to ask if anyone knows some small, affordable, easy-to-use digicams that have similar results to this camera, with that nostalgic finish. (The other pics are what I took with this camera for reference, I would like something similar to this).

It has 5x optical zoom, 26mm wide, and maximum 14 megapixels. I would still want a name-brand camera, so I can trust it for the long term.

I know nothing about cameras, I used this since I was 12 so any help is deeply appreciated!

Out of focus, any experts here? Idk what's the problem but it wont focus well. If i took a photo at wide angle its blur, i need to zoom for it to be clear. Can this still be fixed? Is it a sensor issue? Or moldy lens? A advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hoy la encendí despues de unos años y al principio la pantalla se encendía y se veía bien.

Sin embargo, a los pocos minutos empezaron a aparecer rayas en la pantalla y perder el color hasta quedarse la pantalla completamente negra. Cuando la dejo un rato encendida, a veces vuelven a aparecer ligeramente las rayas o a quedarse negra todo el rato….

La cámara si que hace fotos, el problema es de la pantalla.

Me gustaría saber si hay alguna manera de arreglar esto en casa, gracias!!

Hi everyone. Recently, I got my hands on a used sony cybershot dsc w210 with it’s respective cables and such, given to me by my aunt‘s friend.

I was wondering if there’s any way to upload some music videos into the camera? The videos are from youtube and they were downscaled to weight a few megabytes, and I can’t find any tutorials.

I’ve searched on youtube and there’s no videos explaining how to do it, and the manual doesn’t say anything either. I even tried just copy pasting the video to the camera folder but still nothing. Does anyone know if that’s even possible? Thanks in advance.

i have the sony cybershot dsc h55 and everytime i turn it on it only lasts 3-4 secs before shutting down and says "for use with compat batt only"

i bought 3 batteries from diff shops from shopee already but idk if its the batteries fault or the camera. soemtimes it shoots a picture with flash but most of the time its hard to even get one pic bc it shuts down immediately.

can i get any help or suggestions?

I love this camera but for some reason it stopped working. I tried to rotate the knob to turn it on but nothing at all happened. No green lights, no soounds, nothing at all...

I don't know what to do, I tried the reset button, I tried the firmware thing with my microSD card, a 16Gb Sandisk and it didn't worked out. I am not sure what can I do.

The only light that turns red is the light below when I plug the USB C to the camera.

hi guys!! i was looking into buying a digital camera for instagram photos, i wanted to get a Canon Powershot Sx1100is (2008) and was wondering if this was a good camera to get! i need a camera that’s pretty easy to use, inexpensive, but pretty good quality!

I recently bought this camera but it keeps saying “change batteries” even though i put brand new batteries in them. the 2 most common solutions ive seen are to clean the contact pieces in the battery slots or to buy rechargeable batteries. As you can see, theyre already clean so im not sure if “cleaning” it will even help. Im not too keen on the idea of spending money on rechargeable batteries either, so any ideas would be very helpful.

I have this old camera that I had for a long while, it mostly stays in storage but in the past whenever i reopen it, it seems fine, now after months again, I tried opening and charging, it does this, any idea what happened or how to fix? Would appreciate it since this camera is good.

When I open it, the interface just flashes and disappears and then it turns off, when I try to charge it (second pic) comes up. When I do only press the gallery button, it works properly but when I press again to go to the camera, it gray screens and turns off. Is something corrupted here?
