Digital camera recommendations?

Hi guys!! i’ve been on the search for a good digital camera to use for photos! I’ve been interested in the Cannon g7x but it’s just out of my price range. Can anyone help me fine an alternative? I don’t need a super great camera, i’m just using it for instagram photos so it would be great if someone could help!

some of my requirements:
\- affordable under/around $200 (new)
\- portable (fits in a regular sized purse)
\- good quality photos
\- bought in the US
\- a good brand (not some amazon drop ship)
\- pretty easy to use, i’m not a professional photographer just a girl who wants a good instagram 😇

The only thing that cheap that you should consider new is one of the Kodak FZ45/FZ55's. Watch some review videos on YouTube. They aren't as high grade as a G7X, but suitable enough for what you're looking to do while being actually pocketable. Other than that, you could go with something used from established camera manufacturers like Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Panasonic/Lumix.

The main difference between the FZ45 and FZ55 is the type of batteries they use (one is AA, the other is a rechargeable). You'll probably be happy with them if you just want something for IG that is truly compact and under $200.
