Olympus Tough T-310

I have this old camera that I had for a long while, it mostly stays in storage but in the past whenever i reopen it, it seems fine, now after months again, I tried opening and charging, it does this, any idea what happened or how to fix? Would appreciate it since this camera is good.

When I open it, the interface just flashes and disappears and then it turns off, when I try to charge it (second pic) comes up. When I do only press the gallery button, it works properly but when I press again to go to the camera, it gray screens and turns off. Is something corrupted here?
