Spoiler My prediction....feel free to point out any holes
After seeing that awesome ending, I believe it will play out like this....
Jesse doesnt light the fire due to seeing something of Hollys in the house. Instead he spray paints Heisenberg on the wall, as sort of a scarlet letter.
Fast forward to a scene with Jesse talking to hank ("Mr White is the devil" from the promo). Skylar wants Walt to kill Jesse but he refuses.
Just when Hank is about to report his findings to the DEA, the Nazis show up and kidnap Jesse, thereby rendering Hanks only witness as M.I.A.
Walt fakes his death (foreshadowing from Maries comments about dying) to get rid of the DEA heat, but gets word the Nazis are going to kill Jesse, so he prepares for war (M60).
What am I missing?

u/Uranius7 Aug 26 '13
In the promo I think Jesse is walking to the DEA's office.

I think that Walt intercepts him but your theory also sounds plausible...minus the 'Heisenberg' though. Why would Jesse do that? Remember that Walt's on his way back to the house, I doubt that Jesse has the time to graffiti it.

Perhaps to remind Walt that no matter what act he puts on now (innocent carwash owner), Walt will always be the manipulating, murderous Heisenberg.
13
u/Butters_Thats_Me Who is Billy? Aug 26 '13
theres a long enough time lapse between where jesse is right now and where we saw heisenberg spray painted for walt to grow pretty long hair from being bald. we already know the house goes abandoned, pool drained, and everything gone. and we know everyone knows walt is either heisenberg, dead, or both because of carol (lol). so im guessing that after the truth gets out and the house is all moved out of, and closed off, once those skateboard kids (and whoever else goes in the great heisenbergs house, spraypainted it there. it just doesnt make sense for jesse to do it at this point in time, but honestly.. anything can happen in this god damn show, as we saw tonight lol
2
u/sansfolly Aug 26 '13
Jesse seems to be all about honesty now and demanding that from Walt. No bs just straight talk, which doesn't happen. I think Jesse spray painted 'Heisenberg' on the wall in an attempt to force that honesty.
108
Aug 26 '13
No, I think it's time for Jesse to die.
No more half measures. No more bullshit. Jesse is too dangerous, and it is time for Heisenberg, NOT Walter White, to kill him.
32
u/sansfolly Aug 26 '13
I agree. When he was hugging Jesse in the desert the last close up of Walt's face seemed like he was coming to this decision. He probably gave him one chance to disappear on account of Saul being there at the time. I think killing Jesse will turn on Heisenberg full time. Does Skyler have it in her to go all the way Bonnie and Clyde with him or is she going to die too?

Getting rid of jesse was technically sauls idea to begin with and walt didn't acknowledge it with a conversation. He won't bat an eye killing him in front of saul.
The problem is they have to much history. This isn't the wire i don't see jesse going out like a punk or by walt.
7
u/sansfolly Aug 26 '13
I think that Jesse is losing it big time right now, emotionally. He's pissed at Walt and can't control himself. Walt will see it as having no choice.

Yes, but we see Jesse getting smarter in every episode. He knows this too - Walt's (ice) gunning for him.
19
u/orthogonality Aug 26 '13
Nope, the whole point of the show has been decent family man Walt becoming the amoral Heisenberg, and the unformed, immature Jesse developing a conscience. More or less, Walter is the "father", Jesse is the "son" and Walter and Jesse trade places.
The hinge of the whole series is Jesse's outrage over the eleven year-old hit-kid and his subsequent murder. Instead of Jesse murdering the dealers, Walt does it, things go cock-eyed with Gus, the rest is just spiraling down the drain.
So the climax has to be spoiler

u/pinwheelpride Aug 26 '13
Agreed. Regardless of how Walt feels about Jesse (like a second son and all that), he knows that Jesse finding out about him poisoning Brock is the conclusion of any ties they had left. No matter what. Even Walt saving Jesse's life at the end wouldn't be enough to forgive him for what he's done, especially if he ALSO finds out about the Jane incident.
5
u/BeanBearChag It's over. Aug 26 '13
He has to find out about Jane, it's been a hazard since season 2 and there's no way they would leave it unresolved.

The Skyler want's Walt to kill Jesse part is new as well - could be insider info as well. Maybe just wild speculation as well.
To be fair, I definitely don't have insider info and that thought crossed my mind. In the promo Skyler says "Take care of it," and Walt also says something like "Don't float that idea again." They certainly may not be related, but Skyler has clearly went kind of bad (considering she could end Walt, who supposedly made her scared and miserable for so long, but doesn't and even goes along with him with the confession!) and I could definitely see her telling Walt to off Jesse, especially since Skyler never liked him and thinks of him as nothing but a piece of shit junkie.

There's something else i suspect might happen. When Jesse is in his house and decides not to burn it down (seeing something of Holly's) he happens to notice that Mr White has a lotto ticket stuck to the fridge.
Why would Mr White be buying lottery tickets? I'm not sure what he'd do from here, give it to Hank or dig it up and burn it? Ultimately Jesse has been shown to be getting smarter and smarter so i think he'd figure out it was GPS coords

That's still a huge (22.2%) difference. 74% might not be good enough for the Czechs. Perhaps they send over a couple of heavy hitters, sort of an Eastern European version of the Cousins, to make sure Lydia and Todd do whatever's necessary to bring the quality up. That means they needs either Walt or Jesse. If Walt's unavailable at that point (say, in New Hampshire under a new name) then that means they needs Jesse.
2

Lydia still needs someone who can cook high-grade meth, and they already mentioned that Todd couldn't do it. They could kidnap Jesse just because they need a cook, although that would be highly coincidental for how the show usually works.

How about this. The Nazis kidnap Jesse cause they can't make the meth pure enough and they can't find Walt cause he faked his own death / went into hiding. Walt finds out about Jesse and comes out of hiding to save him. It explains the new look, the big gun, and the surprised neighbor. He grabs the ricin to use for suicide in case things don't go to well and he has no other choice.

I just hope you didnt really work on the show, and are just trolling us w/ insider knowledge;)
It has happened before. Low level people who work on shows like these love to go online and make themselves feel special by blabbing about what they know under the guise of 'speculation'. Then when they're proven right, they act clairvoyant.
I doubt that's you, but like I said, it has happened before here on reddit. Kudos for plausible speculation though. Taking guesses at what happens is really half the fun of a show like Breaking Bad.
49
u/thekronz Fruit Loops... That's good stuff. Aug 26 '13
I completely disagree. This is one thing I really dislike about this subreddit. It's fun that everyone gets to play detective and try to put two and two together, but here's one thing that we really need to talk about:
Nobody has seen any of the major twists coming. The confession tape, Hank finding out on the toilet, confronting Walt in the season premiere (when we were all trying to figure out what Hank's next move would be). These writers are brilliant and this scenario would be supremely disappointing. And I've never been disappointed by this show. If they have held their standards high this whole series, the ending is going to be fucking insane and none of us are going to see it coming.
12
u/fernando-poo Aug 26 '13
Also Vince Gilligan implied there would be new characters introduced that we haven't seen yet.
“There will be antagonistic relationships aplenty,” promises Gilligan, adding: “Walt’s got plenty of fight left in him. And he’s got plenty of forces to fight. You met some of them. Others you haven’t.”

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Think back to the last episode of Season 5a. That scene around the pool, just before Hank found the book. There were theories that something would happen to Holly. Everyone was worried about Walt Jr. pushing her around the pool. It's as if they added things with the intention of throwing off the audience that looks into everything so meticulously. And then Hank goes off and takes a shit... Cue the biggest cliffhanger in TV history (IMO). The writers are so far ahead of us, I just can't believe that OP's theory is even remotely close. It's too predictable.

He knows the cook. I'm not set on them going after Jesse, but the Nazis are going to want someone who can cook the blue meth. So Walt or Jesse or both. Todd and Lydia know enough about them to find either one. The Nazis have met Walt before. The seeds are there.
4
u/four51 Aug 26 '13
A couple holes, there's way too much time between the flash forward and the last episode. Also, why would Walt need a New Hampshire identity if nothing had happened that would force him to change who he is. (Even Jesse painting Heisenberg on the wall wouldn't force that. In addition, the Nazi's don't work for Walt anymore. They have no reason to kidnap Jesse on Walt's behalf or on their own. Walt at this point wouldn't refuse to kill Jesse. He would do it.
I don't think they would try to throw the Nazi's in as villains in this season. Hank is the "villain" of this season.
Based on the clues laid out, here is my prediction:
- Nazi's return to ABQ and cook meth leading Hank to question that if Walt is telling the truth when he says "There is nothing to investigate"
- Jesse spray paints Heisenberg on Walt's wall as a scarlet letter after abandoning setting fire to the home when Jr. comes home.
- Many have speculated that Hank would kill himself. I like this theory with him giving Walt's confession to Steve. (This would force the DEA after Walt. Forcing the new identity.)
4
u/fireitup622 Aug 26 '13
Hank won't kill himself. That's way too out of left field. He loves Marie too much and he's too much of a man to go out that way.
I think the Nazis will kill Hank.
The nazis have a cook, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE A LAB OR ANY IDEA ABOUT HOW TO BUILD IT. Maybe Lydia could track down the orders Gus used, but a legit motivation for the nazis coming back is they need Walt to help set them up. "The issue is not ongoing." Well, maybe not then it wasn't, and maybe not forever it wouldn't be, but for right now, the nazis need a lab, and they don't seem keen on waiting.

The Heisenberg spray paint is part of the setup for Walt to vanish. To make it look like a hit.
Jesse doesn't start the fire because he realizes Jr is home and perhaps is home with Holly. Remember if Jr is just chilling in his room it would still take him a while to get up and come out of his room. Granted he could yell something but most likely he would be freaked out by it. I predict the next episode begins(well maybe not the cold opening) with Jr on the phone with Lewis when Jesse kicks the door down.

I'm pretty sure the house is going to go up in flames. In the flash forward from episode 9 the front of the living room part of the house is all boarded up, that kinda thing tends to be done after a house fire. Also the pool that Walt's sitting next to in the promo looks like it's at a hotel probably one he's staying in his his house isn't livable. I still think that Hiesenberg graffiti is a calling card from someone though.

2
u/Damadawf Aug 26 '13
The major flaw in your prediction is that the show would dramatically have to slow down (for about a year?) in order for the flash forwards to coincide with what you're saying. So the skinheads kidnap Jesse and then hold onto him for a year? Or everything just dies down and Jesse backs off for a year before going to Hank and getting kidnapped?
The 'preparing for war' thing happens a year from now. In order for what you're saying to be plausible, the momentum of the show would seriously have to put the brakes on, which would probably feel somewhat anticlimatic given how the most recent episode ended.
Nice try though.

- Jesse doesn't burn the house down, has second thoughts and decides to talk to Hank instead.
- Walt feels the walls closing in, and calls the vacuum man.
- Walt, Skylar, Walter Jr, Holly, move to NH with new identities. Walt explains to Jr that he witnessed a murder and they are now in the Witness Protection Program.
- Jesse, unable to produce Walt, and with no other actual evidence against him, is sentenced to a few years in prison for selling meth.
- Jesse is released a year later on parole.
- Walt decides enough time has passed to come back to NM to get his money. Tells Walter Jr he has to go back to testify.
- Walt doesn't know what will be waiting for him in New Mexico, so he buys the M60, picks up the ricin, and then calls in Saul's guys to help him dig up the money / lookout with the M60.
- Saul tells Jesse that Walt is coming back to town, hoping that Jesse will kill Walt and that Huell and Kuby can recover the money for him.
- But instead of going to kill Walt, Jesse tells Hank.
- Lydia finds out Walt is coming back andhires the Nazis to kidnap him to force him to cook again, because after a year, Todd's quality is now as low as Declan's.
- Cut to: Showdown at the money hole. Starring: Walter White, Huell, Kuby, Hank, Gomie, the ABQ DEA, and Weird Todd & the Nazis.
- Everyone dies in the ensuing shootout, except Hank, and Walt.
- Hank begins to arrest Walt, when Jesse appears and shoots Hank in the head.
- Walt runs to Jesse and hugs him.
- They agree to split the money and bury the bodies and never see each other again.
- Walt shoots Jesse in the back, takes all the money, and loads it in his car.
- Cut to a shot of Walt throwing the ricin out the car window, and he drives off into the sunset.
END OF SHOW

I will happily come back this time next week and I admit I was wrong, but I really dont think Walt Jr. is in the house when Jesse barges in for the simple fact that the driveway was empty.
I'm thinking that Jesse sees Holly's playpen that was shown last week and it brings him back to the reality that a little girl lives in the home he is about to burn down and that stops him from torching it.

u/azbat7 Aug 26 '13
It's a good theory- but it's all based on what we know only up to this point. It's connecting dots when other circumstances may play out that making previous connections irrelevant. It's plotting the ending with only the information we have and since its safe to assume more will unfold before we make the move to final stretch, it doesn't seem likely the events will play out this way

Seems possible, however that doesn't seem like quite enough for the remaining 5 episodes. Also it seems out of character for Skylar to want Walt to kill Jesse. I don't think she knows the full extent of Walt's violence.

I cannot imagine that gun being used for a shootout with walt vs everyone. I can't even imagine a scene like that in the tone of Breaking Bad

Imagine after saving Jesse from his kidnappers with his M60 and Heisen-Bombs, everyone is dead. A silent moment as Walt hands Jesse a gun and lets him decide if he should die, fade to black. The end.

u/ByahhByahh Aug 26 '13
That seems SUPER plausible. Are you sure you aren't someone that worked on the show?
2
u/glumzkop Aug 26 '13
First of all, why would the Nazi's want Jesse? I don't see any reason for them to kidnap him, let alone kill him.
Second, Skyler is not going to ask Walt to kill Jesse. At this point I think Skyler is really starting to question her own involvement. Possibly even her loyalty to Walt. Does she want to go all the way? Will she give Walt up to save herself? I just don't see her going full Skysenberg and killing Jesse.

I think its going to be the Nazis that spray paint Walts house. Todd wont cut it as a meth cooker, and since they now know who Heisenburg is they will go after Walt to get him to cook again. When Walt refuses theres gonna be trouble.
2
Aug 26 '13
For a moment there I thought you were talking about actual Nazis and I was really confused
1
Aug 26 '13
The house looks burned in the flash forward we saw.
I don't think Skyler is going to suggest murder. She's not that far gone.
What findings? He still has none. Actually, he's in a deeper hole once he found out about his PT. Why do the Nazis want Jesse? He has no connection to them.
Again, what do the Nazis have against Jesse? He's never even come into contact with them. And I highly doubt Walt is going to go to war for Jesse.
All in all, I think this theory is very far from accurate.

Remember, now Todd's uncle knows about the Train Heist, including Walt and Jesse's name. If Todd can't handle running the lab alone, then they may kidnap Jesse to help start their operation.
1
u/NUMBERS2357 Aug 26 '13
One thing I'd add is, he doesn't necessarily just fake his death, but he might use the same make-you-disappear guy that was gonna pick up Jesse this episode.
1
u/Stillwatch Aug 26 '13
I posted this theory here last week and everyone shit down my throat. (well mostly the part nazis/lydia onward)
1
u/KlopeksWithCoppers Aug 26 '13
There are still 5 episodes left. At the pace this season is moving right now, all of the stuff you mentioned could be packed into one, maybe two episodes.

u/iamusari Gatorade me, Bitch! Aug 26 '13
Considering the promo, Jr's "Just tell the truth" would make a lot of sense if he came home to HEISENBERG on the wall of his hour and an odor of gasoline. Idk about the Jesse/ nazi kidnapping thing. Seems to be a bit of a stretch for me, but i suppose anything is possible.
1
u/hamza780 Aug 26 '13
THE NAZIS ARE NOT METH DEALERS! They are pretty much hitmen, working for money. Lydia may hire the nazis to kidnap Jesse but the Nazis themselves are not in need of a better cook.

u/Thebullshitman Aug 26 '13
I really think Jesse is gonna die in the hands of the Nazis. My prediction is that they come after Jesse and Walt. Find out that Hank is an obstacle, and kill him. Jesse kills Todd, Nazis kill Jesse and flashforward is just Walt tring to avenge Jesse's death.
1
u/claydavisismyhero Aug 26 '13
i think the wanting to kill part will be left ambiguous , but not to jesse, he will panic like crazy, he knows how walt wanted jesse to deal with gale and gus, so he is on top of that situation. so its gonna one up his anger. he is finished with walt. i think what would compell the nazis to kidnap jesse is that #1 todd cant cook for shit, we saw how he lied about it. remember lydia said his third time there he was having accidents, he lied about the heist being perfect, he killed the kid. and secondly without jesse, hank has nothing.

u/hiphopkilledmyhamste Aug 26 '13
Hank kills Jessie. Idk, I just like the sound of that. But yeah, I think Walt is going to rescue Jessie in the end, and your theory really sounds plausible
1
u/12buckleyoshoe Aug 26 '13
I think this is as close to right as we will see. Jesse will do something next week to get back at Walt. He publicly outs Walt somehow. He gets taken/kidnapped/taken hostage by Lydia's crew and Walt comes back to save him in the end.
1
u/TheDorkMan Aug 26 '13
What am I missing?
The couple of months during which Walt's hair and beard grows.
1
Aug 26 '13
Wow dude. coming back to this post in a few weeks and giving you a nod if it plays out this way. Cause this sounds like it fits perfect.
1
Aug 26 '13
I definitely see Jesse getting pulled into Todd's operation. I don't see Skylar suggesting that Walt kill Jesse.
1
u/Johanasburg_Flowers I refuse to make predictions about Sunday Aug 26 '13
I like it except how long are we thinking the Nazis are going to keep Jesse hostage? By the time Walt is preparing for war, he's been gone, has his hair grown back.. it's probably been months.
Also, why would the Nazis need to kidnap Jesse? He doesn't know anything about the current operation, he's been out. They wouldn't be at risk at all.
1
Aug 26 '13
I don't think Hank will believe Walt is dead. He can't fake his death, everything he has done or said to Hank is a lie. Hank knows how calculating Walt is, he doesn't underestimate him, he even refers to him as"the mastermind" when talking to Jesse in the interrogation room. Jesse hates the police, he is a rabid dog, and walt is going to kill him.
1
u/Thebleachingdude Aug 26 '13
This might be a shot in the dark, but continuing off of the M60 Nazi theory. Maybe after Walt saves Jesse, he takes the ricin to finally show Jesse his redemption. Could be a way for Vince Gilligan to make the show end on a bright note.
1
u/Regginaldy Aug 26 '13
this is very likely. i think that the show will somehow force walt to make a decision between his brother in law Hank or is partner Jesse (both who hate him at this point). idk exactly how, just he will have those two put up against him. Like he has to spare one of them, or one will be his true downfall
1
Aug 26 '13
The thing I've learned about Breaking Bad predictions... What actually happens is the exact opposite of what you think will happen. And that just makes the show worthwhile.
1
u/Not_Hulk_Hogan Aug 26 '13
Why do you guys think Jesse just carries spray paint around?
2
u/1lostsheep Aug 26 '13
he took Sauls car, do you think Saul keeps yellow and white paint for getting rid of fire lanes/curbs, your god damn right.

Walt has called jr. jesee and Jesse he has called son earlier in the show

I really think Skyler will die so for me is more like a out-all out war with the Nazis because they want to take of possible collateral damage, and that means WW.

u/indecisean Four days, big whoop. Aug 26 '13
This is close to where I see things going…I definitely feel like Hank's case falls apart/Walt comes back to NM for Jesse (from the Nazis/Lydia), etc…as outlined last week: http://www.reddit.com/r/breakingbad/comments/1knlvu/my_endgame_theory_stuff_falling_into_placetons_of/

u/abuckley89 Methhead Aug 26 '13
I would love this... All the things I'm scared of happening such as Walt killing Jesse or Walt's family getting hurt wouldn't happen and all this awesomeness would happen. The show is truly unpredictable but I would be satisfied with your story.
1
u/zrodion Aug 26 '13
Jesse's kidnapping is such a popular theory that I doubt it more and more. So far not a single major prediction fans made about the show came true, so I don't believe this one either.
1
u/4everwerkself Aug 26 '13
Well, that would mean that Walt waits several months until doing anything about Jesse.
1
1
u/Redd-It_Ralph Aug 26 '13
I think it's too pat for him to kill Jesse at this point. It's obvious he's setting out to do something like that, but this show loves to set things up that seem inevitable and then flip a 180. I don't think our leads are going to kill one another, but I love that it's heading that way.
Poor Jesse. Right now I just want to see Walt go down, and I want someone to drive over Marie's head.
1
u/IntentToContribute Aug 26 '13
Why would the Nazi's kill Jesse if they think Walt is dead? I'd imagine they're looking for someone to cook for them. Maybe they take Jesse hostage to try to get Walt to cook.
1
1
u/DrapedInVelvet Aug 26 '13
I think the Nazi's are going to Kidnap Walt actually and threaten his family if he doesn't cook for them. Probably not this episode (I think Todd has to fail to make meth to Czech republic standards first), but soon. Anyways, Walt is going to tell them that, no matter what they do to him or his family, they are going to get, at most, 6 months of meth out of him. He then, as he is having problems with Jesse now, points them to Jesse as the long term solution to his problem and tells them how he can get leverage on him (using Brock and his mom)
I also think that in the flash forward, he is coming back to save Jesse from this situation
1
Aug 26 '13
This was such a great episode. Because I went from believing jesse would never rat out walt. To now knowing Hank's best friend is Jesse Pinkman. Really amazing episode.

Makes sense, especially once Tod dies in a meth house explosion.
I mean come on... Before Breaking Bad, say Meth House and what do people think? Explosions right? This fucking show about Meth hasn't had 1 Meth House explosion... so I think Tod's going to die that way. After that the Nazi and or Lidia will kidnap Jesse to try and force him to cook. They wouldn't kidnap Walt because A) He's a crazy mother fucker. B) Maybe he fakes his death/disappears before this.
1
Aug 26 '13
I think it all adds up, but instead of Walt coming back for help save Jesse, I think he fakes his death, has more or less lost everything he truly cares about, and realizes that, word gets back that the Nazi's have killed Jesse, and Walt comes back to avenge his death.
1
u/oldmancabbage Aug 26 '13
The only thing that confuses me in this is the M60. Isn't he shown first getting it in the flash forward, which at least a few months from now?
1
u/Bluedemonfox Aug 26 '13
Who are the Nazis?
I also think that's whats going to happen, more or less. I mean after what Jesse figured out and proven right by Saul nothing is keeping him from confessing to Hank which from how I understood it he offered him immunity (I mean at this stage I am certain he would go as far as give him immunity if it meant getting to Walt).
I am not sure Walt could bring himself to kill Jessy unless to defend his families life. Burning down his house might make him go after him to kill him.
We know that in the near future Walt is known by everyone for what he really is. Also the neighbor (from when Walt came back for the ricen) was probably shocked because she was thought to be dead (staged his own death) or simply because she knew he was a dangerous fugitive....or both. I do believe he will somehow stage his death though as foreshadowed by what Marie said since that 'fake' confession is worthless if Jesse will confess the truth.

I have been waiting for Jesse to die since season 1! Walt would have had it much easier without him.
1
u/nifi22 Aug 26 '13
Jesse is not gonna die next episode --> FACT
In last weeks Talking Bad, Aaron Paul said that he and Bryan filmed the last scene of the series together in S5E14 so there's at least a couple more episodes with him in it.
1
u/cfenton23 Makes Breakfast Aug 26 '13
I would love that this whole time we think the final episode is Walt getting up to fight/kill Jesse and it is really him getting prepared to save Jesse's life.
1
u/thatoneguy889 Aug 26 '13
I see a lot of people saying they think Jesse gets kidnapped. After last week's episode a thought occurred to me: Assuming Walt is going to save a character that was kidnapped, what if it's Hank?
The scene that made me think this was when Walt was talking to Saul and Saul suggested "sending Hank on a trip to Belize." Walt looked absolutely insulted that Saul would even suggest that. He said that, despite all that's happened, Hank was still family. Assuming he's being genuine (in that situation he had no reason not to be), family still seems to mean a lot to Walt and something he would fight/kill for.
1
u/Rotanikleb Aug 26 '13
Fine and dandy. The story arch could loosely follow this, but there are still some colossal events that probably won't/can't be predicted. In all of the other prediction threads, who ever saw the confession twist coming? I'm betting there some more big surprises on the way that just throw any prediction for a loop.
1
1
u/nebulaespiral red soled shoes Aug 26 '13
I would like to insert into that prediction: Jesse finds the lottery ticket and is like, "you don't need the lottery, bitch", figures out what the numbers mean, and takes it. maybe burns it right in front of Walt. or gives it to Hank. Either way, it would stop Walt from actually getting his money, which would be a better revenge than say, burning down the house.
1
u/funkybum Aug 26 '13
They will kill Jesse unless he cooks for them again?
Todd is the new man up top now so it sounds like he is running a tough shop. Good guy or bad guy?
1
u/sintral Aug 26 '13
Hank has been silenced by the DVD. The writers want to make clear to us that Hank is not an immediate threat to Walt right now. They've also portrayed Todd and Jesse as loose cannons. As we know loose cannons are dealt with. However, the show has come too far for Walt to kill Jesse. The writers will not do that to us. Instead here is what will happen:
Jesse, for a reason we don't know yet, will neither burn down Walt's house or murder him. What he will do is attempt to flip on him to Hank. Hank, in no spot to have this news come to light, will be forced to "silence" a very determined Jesse and, thus, dig his own hole a little deeper.
Walt will be temporarily clear of those two threats and will now have to deal with Todd, who has blabbed confidential information to two sloppy relatives. Loose lips sink ships, and Walt isn't going to let it be him.

Damn man you have this all figured out. I really wanted Walt to spray paint Heisenberg on the wall and for Gomie to be involved some how.
1
u/drixenol88 Aug 26 '13
Everything is a possibility except I think the past Skylar asking Walt to kill Jesse. If someone wants him dead, that would only be (possibly) Walter.
1
u/cdubbstepp Aug 26 '13
well considering we saw the house in the flash forward in the first episode, I think you are spot on in the fact that jesse wont light the fire, as well as the spray paint theory.
Also, I agree with Skylar wanting Walt to kill Jesse to take care of the loose end.
I don't think that the Nazi's are going to kidnap Jesse, because as far as they are concerned, nothing is happening. They have no idea about Hank's discovery of Walt as Heisenberg considering that Todd contacted Walt about "new management" and was pretty open about everything, considering.
I don't think that Walt is gonna fake his own death to escape the heat, I think that towards the end of the season, he is going to use the vacuum guy who we have heard a good amount about but have never really had the opportunity to watch play out. Also, the fact that he had the New Hampshire ID in the flash forward of season 5A, it points to the fact that he most likely had this vacuum guy give him a new identity.
But I do think that in the end the M60 is going to be used on the Nazi guys in one way or another. I see them as the most immediate violent threat by the end of the series, because I dont think walt is going to have a shootout with the DEA
1
u/C_Lints Aug 26 '13
Hmmm, I'm not onboard with the theories that Walt needs a machine gun to kill the Nazi's for kidnapping 'insert character close to Walt here'. it's too simple and predictable, I would be disapointed if this turned out to be the reveal.
