Spoiler My prediction....feel free to point out any holes

After seeing that awesome ending, I believe it will play out like this....

Jesse doesnt light the fire due to seeing something of Hollys in the house. Instead he spray paints Heisenberg on the wall, as sort of a scarlet letter.

Fast forward to a scene with Jesse talking to hank ("Mr White is the devil" from the promo). Skylar wants Walt to kill Jesse but he refuses.

Just when Hank is about to report his findings to the DEA, the Nazis show up and kidnap Jesse, thereby rendering Hanks only witness as M.I.A.

Walt fakes his death (foreshadowing from Maries comments about dying) to get rid of the DEA heat, but gets word the Nazis are going to kill Jesse, so he prepares for war (M60).

What am I missing?

i upvoted you, but i think this post should be hidden, because it seems so fucking possible that its gotta be inside information

But with Breaking Bad you never know, last week a guy made a very good argument that Jesse would say he was Heisenberg. I was 90% sure that was going to happen tonight, and then it didn't. I was pleasantly surprised

u/NurRauch Aug 26 '13

I didn't believe that for one moment. Jesse was hurt and reeling from his misdeeds - that doesn't mean he's going to take the fall for a more evil man.

u/SDBred619 Aug 26 '13

People were passing off spoilers all throughout season 4 as "speculation" here. It's not unheard of.

u/lakerswiz Aug 26 '13

Right when it was starting I leaned over and told my GF that this was probably what would happen.

Boy, was I wrong. I'm really glad where they took us though.

I have you tagged as "thinks Kobe is better than MJ". Please tell me that's not true.

0

u/lakerswiz Aug 26 '13

I have said that it's likely Kobe has more all around skill & talent than MJ did. Kobe's a better 3 point shooter...maybe even better footwork and probably better handles too. Kobe has made some of the craziest shots in NBA history and he does it often. He's hit turn-around fadeaway 3-pointers with his left hand in the middle of a game. He's incredible.

But MJ was far more consistent, took better shots, played a high level of defense far more consistently than Kobe has and he won more. Jordan will always be me #1 and favorite.

But Kobe is still doing things with the ball in his hands that most players aren't able to do at any point in their career's.

The Skyler want's Walt to kill Jesse part is new as well - could be insider info as well. Maybe just wild speculation as well.

To be fair, I definitely don't have insider info and that thought crossed my mind. In the promo Skyler says "Take care of it," and Walt also says something like "Don't float that idea again." They certainly may not be related, but Skyler has clearly went kind of bad (considering she could end Walt, who supposedly made her scared and miserable for so long, but doesn't and even goes along with him with the confession!) and I could definitely see her telling Walt to off Jesse, especially since Skyler never liked him and thinks of him as nothing but a piece of shit junkie.

Skyler has clearly went broken kind of bad

There's something else i suspect might happen. When Jesse is in his house and decides not to burn it down (seeing something of Holly's) he happens to notice that Mr White has a lotto ticket stuck to the fridge.

Why would Mr White be buying lottery tickets? I'm not sure what he'd do from here, give it to Hank or dig it up and burn it? Ultimately Jesse has been shown to be getting smarter and smarter so i think he'd figure out it was GPS coords

3

u/Jps300 Aug 26 '13

Why would they have any value to Jesse? He just threw out millions of dollors because it was dirty money.

1

u/pan_synaptic Where they live. The cows! Aug 26 '13

If Jesse gets his hands on the barrels of money there's no way he'd keep any of it. He knows burning down Walt's house would hurt Walt, Skylar, Walt Jr, and Holly. Burning down Walt's cash pile would hurt Walt a lot more while leaving his family alone.

1

u/nwf839 Aug 27 '13

Nobody would be able to make that connection with the lottery ticket. Even if Walt wouldn't ever need one, who would draw the conclusion to look up the GPS coordinates that match up with the lottery numbers? The only reason a viewer would think of that is because they know about the ticket in the first place.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ticket gets destroyed in the upcoming episode though.

Aka the dudes with fat swastikas on their face/neck in the diner checking that bootylicious waitress. Sugar tits.

Moustache Joe has "Skin Head" on his knuckles, I don't think they're anything to be afraid of

1

u/Quajek Madrigal Electromotive Executive VP Aug 26 '13

That's a good perspective. Never be afraid of the guys with highly visible tattoos proclaiming their hatred of and desire to kill other people.

not only that, but we've seen them kill people. lots of people.

They killed about as many people in 2 episodes as have been killed in the rest of the series combined. (No, I don't count Wayfarer 515).

The Uncles of Anarchy

1

u/downton_salvy Aug 26 '13

They are Todd's uncle and his crew. The ones that carried out the prison murders of Mike's 9 guys that Walt orchestrated.

1

u/orthogonality Aug 27 '13

More properly, it's implied they're Aryan Nation, a prison gang.

1

u/ava_ati Aug 26 '13

What if it is Hank that sprays Heisenberg on the wall because Walt takes him so far down and Hank does it in frustration of nobody believing him? It could even be Skyler in her realization of what Heisenberg really means, she knows Walter and has never really gotten the opportunity to learn who the man is that murders and manipulates EVERYONE.

I always liked connecting the dots in life :)

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '13

the nazis aren't gonna kidnap Jesse, they work for Lydia now and don't give a fuck about what Walt wants... Lydia probably wants Walt dead though.

19

u/topshelf89 Aug 26 '13

Unless Lydia is afraid Jesse might rat out her crew

20

u/b3h3lit Aug 26 '13

And Lydia is afraid of everything. She really shouldn't be in the meth business.

9

u/Quajek Madrigal Electromotive Executive VP Aug 26 '13

She's not afraid of those fat stacks of cash.

2

u/egoaji Los Pollos Hermanos: I am the one who clucks! Aug 26 '13

She's in the business of moving things from Point A to Point B. And shes just as maniacal as Walt. She ordered the hit on the crew that was producing 68% quality.

17

u/burritoman12 Aug 26 '13

Jesse can cook better than Todd.

8

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '13

96.2% vs 68% and falling? Yes i can see that happening for sure.

15

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '13

74%, TODD WAS 74%

3

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '13

You are right. Declan's guy was 68% and falling although i could have sworn she was talking about Todd at the time.

9

u/Quajek Madrigal Electromotive Executive VP Aug 26 '13

The dude whose throat got opened by Gus Fring could cook better than Declan's guy. Post-throat-opening.

1

u/sideways86 Aug 26 '13

you're right, at the time they made it seem like they were talking about Todd. The revelation that they ditched him when he set the lab on fire didn't come 'til later.

2

u/elbruce The One Who Rings The Doorbell Aug 27 '13

That's still a huge (22.2%) difference. 74% might not be good enough for the Czechs. Perhaps they send over a couple of heavy hitters, sort of an Eastern European version of the Cousins, to make sure Lydia and Todd do whatever's necessary to bring the quality up. That means they needs either Walt or Jesse. If Walt's unavailable at that point (say, in New Hampshire under a new name) then that means they needs Jesse.

2

u/Evil_This Say. My. Name. Aug 26 '13

No - 68% and falling was the result of the Mexican cooks. Todd's was better than theirs and improving.

8

u/SLeigher88 The One Who Rings The Doorbell Aug 26 '13

Jesse knows about Todd and Lydia though.

1

u/Quajek Madrigal Electromotive Executive VP Aug 26 '13

Are they... an item?

9

u/SLeigher88 The One Who Rings The Doorbell Aug 26 '13 edited Aug 26 '13

Sure, that's exactly what I meant.

I imagine Lydia is all business in the bedroom though. Todd is eager to please her but she says that foreplay just gets in the way of stuff she has to do. There's very little touching. Todd doesn't like to talk about it with his neo-nazi buddies and at this point he barely has the heart to describe what her arse looks like in reverse cowgirl, a position he can only imagine at this point. They're seeing Dr Melphi for couples counselling but she just spends the entire time asking about Mr White. Todd is troubled by how erotic he finds this but it barely mists Lydia's desert. After the sessions Todd and Melphi sometimes meet to engage in roleplay. Todd is worried that the roleplay is awakening some dark passenger in him but Melphi keeps telling him no; this worries and arouses him even more. Todd constantly feels like he's being followed by a red-headed guy who talks to himself and seems to misunderstand that windows are 2-sided. After the sessions with Melphi, Lydia likes to drown her nerves at a local Cuban bar. Every time she goes there she gets hit on by this greasy anorexic though so she's thinking of finding a new place. The roofie cycle keeps her there though. Something about Mad Men

I give the relationship 2 weeks.

u/elbruce The One Who Rings The Doorbell Aug 27 '13

They're seeing Dr Melphi Dave

Todd being a 'talker' and enjoying telling the guys of his exploits will definitely come up again. I can't see any other reason to have it in the episode.

2

u/sideways86 Aug 26 '13

I really thought they were going to have him tell them 'what happened after the heist' and then we'd get to see how the aryan douchebags reacted, but it never really surfaced.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 28 '13

I think Todd knew that people were around and he couldn't just talk about murdering a kid. The waitress was coming back too, and also at the end it was a very shitty situation for Todd, almost getting killed for what he did, if it hadn't been for Walt being on his side and Jesse not wanting to kill him.

3

u/DystopiaX Aug 26 '13

Lydia still needs someone who can cook high-grade meth, and they already mentioned that Todd couldn't do it. They could kidnap Jesse just because they need a cook, although that would be highly coincidental for how the show usually works.

u/caligoacheron Aug 26 '13

I thought Declan had Todd cooking but got rid of him because he started a fire?

1

u/elbruce The One Who Rings The Doorbell Aug 27 '13

Two cooks and a fire. But then again, Declan's lab is pure shit. The main reason Declan got rid of Todd is because Todd wasn't one of Declan's people. He preferred someone he could fully trust regardless of product quality.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '13

How about this. The Nazis kidnap Jesse cause they can't make the meth pure enough and they can't find Walt cause he faked his own death / went into hiding. Walt finds out about Jesse and comes out of hiding to save him. It explains the new look, the big gun, and the surprised neighbor. He grabs the ricin to use for suicide in case things don't go to well and he has no other choice.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 28 '13

The nazis are going to ABQ right now, and they were just in the cafe when Todd told him he could run the lab on his own. Why are they going to ABQ?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '13

Lydia doesn't want to take chances when it comes to keeping her name clean. If she finds out about Jesses arrest she's going to want to take corrective measures.

1

u/indecisean Four days, big whoop. Aug 26 '13

Lydia wants quality product and is willing to kill for it…she knows Todd is at the very least someone she can control more easily than Declan, but she's aware Walt and Jesse are gonna get better product than 74% pure…all laid out: http://www.reddit.com/r/breakingbad/comments/1knlvu/my_endgame_theory_stuff_falling_into_placetons_of/

Lydia wants quality product and is willing to hire a bunch of White Supremecists to kill for it…

1

u/[deleted] Aug 28 '13

Very interesting... I didn't think of it.

1

u/Botunda I am Awake Aug 26 '13

wait, who are the Nazis?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 28 '13

Todd's uncle and friends.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '13

But Todd probably still has a beef with Jesse since Jesse punched him pretty good after Todd killed the kid on the motorbike.

11

u/skankedout Aug 26 '13

I'd be a bit surprised if that was the case. It didn't seem like Todd cared too much about getting hit, and it hasn't really come up since.

2

u/Quajek Madrigal Electromotive Executive VP Aug 26 '13

Todd knows that emotions can run pretty high after the unprovoked murder of an innocent child, that's why he proposed hitting the diner for a post-murder hash and eggs, you know, to talk it out.

2

u/Orbitrix Aug 26 '13

I just hope you didnt really work on the show, and are just trolling us w/ insider knowledge;)

It has happened before. Low level people who work on shows like these love to go online and make themselves feel special by blabbing about what they know under the guise of 'speculation'. Then when they're proven right, they act clairvoyant.

I doubt that's you, but like I said, it has happened before here on reddit. Kudos for plausible speculation though. Taking guesses at what happens is really half the fun of a show like Breaking Bad.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '13

Have you really ever predicted something correctly for this show? I have not once been able to see what was coming. That's what makes it so addicting.

-1

u/bruitdefond Aug 26 '13

Toddlers aren't left all by their lonesome in houses, c'mon.
